[Qi Charger Mod] Wireless Qi bookstash charger - Nexus 5 Accessories

I was bored, so i 'modded' a Book stash into a Wireless Qi charger....
Just place the N5 on the cover and it starts charging, i keep it on my nightstand for now.
I plan on buying another stash, or making a stash myself using a cooler looking real book...
Charging seems to function normally through the 5mm thick wood cover
What do you guys think?

That's pretty cool. How much did it cost you in total?

That's pretty awesome. I'm going to attempt a similar project with my nightstand like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZo2pA0Qc9U&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I paid 30 EURO for the charger i got the parts from, but you can get the pcb and coil on alibaba for much less. The book i sourced in a local store for 5E, but you can make it yourself for even less...

S-Pen cover

I remember seeing in a vid on youtube of an official accessory, a sleeve that makes the S-Pen bigger and easier to hold. While I find the S-Pen easy to use and hold as it is, does anyone know when this will be released?
I'm sure I've seen them on Ebay, take a look.

I'm also searching the pen holder...

I've seen that pen holder at the site of Expansys:
Original Samsung ET-S110E Stylus Pen for Galaxy Note 5.3" + spare stylus (ET-S100E) Included.
(search for those model numbers)
http://www.expansys.com/samsung-original-stylus-pen-for-galaxy-note-5-3-224748/
£34.99 (~$55 USD) seems far too expensive for an extra stylus and a holder, if you ask me.
I agree. Way too expansive (until you've lost yours, of course). They should have called it the $ Pen ;-)

LOL!
Could be worse. I see they're charging £47 ($70) for a replacement stylus for the htc flyer and that stylus is only compatible with certain aspects of the device!

Best Car Dock For Galaxy Nexus + Pictures?

What's up guys?
Can anyone post their car dock / setup pictures for us to see along with a link they ordered it from?
I'm in the market for one and the one from Verizon themselves is quite cheap.
Please tell me this is an April Fool's Day joke. Please.
My car doesn't work well with most mounts so I made my own bracket that goes on the dash, I usually don't like universal mounts, but since I am running a case I have no choice. After a couple crappy ones I found one that works pretty well. It was at target for $13, haven't found it online. It holds the phone well and doesn't get in the way of buttons or the usb port.
It comes with a windshield and vent mount but I used a screw to attach it.

I just use the official Pogo Pin Dock from Samsung.
Here is the picture of the dock from target.

SG3 charges on AC wall charger but not on car charger

My SG3 charges on my AC wall charger but not on my car charger. I took the phone to a Sprint store and they said that it was due to corrosion. I am trying to hold out for the new One or SG5. Is there something I can do to try to correct it? I don't want to get a replacement with the new phones being released so soon.

Did you tried using the car charger with another device?
Sent from my SPH-L710
Yes, my wife's Note 2 works fine on the car charger. The store was also able to duplicate the problem. Their advice was to either get a replacement phone for $150 or get an upgrade.
Get a couple extra batteries and an external battery charger... Never have to charge your phone and they are ready to throw in your pocket so you always have an extra battery. It'll cost you about $20 but that's better than wasting your upgrade on something you don't want. And cheaper than a replacement.

Ghetto Moto360 Charger - "cradle" style

well .. for a long time i wanted to place a charger at my work place, just to be sure that i won't run of power during the day.
so ...
you take this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/32152166692...49&var=510400301933&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
and a little hard sponge, that will hold the charger.
cut a little side hole in the sponge, and near the hole, cut a wider stripe.
place the charger inside, trought the hole insert the usb cable into the charger, and ... viola, you have a desktop cradle

clever
well done
I hated those chargers until...
I realized the 360 would work with them. I'd bought a couple for my Nexus 5 & 7 -- but they don't work well with the cases. Unreliable. But on the naked watch, they're perfect! And round - so they fit the theme lol. Of course, I still have the leather strap on so it lays flat - but your concept is an awesome way to keep using these if I splurge for a metal one.
