I am surprised it has olephobic coating for a 16 dollar price tag.Write olephobic coating protector in amazon and you get 50 dollars and up offers. Definitely a thumbs up

Thanks! Ordered one from amazon

Nice. I have the Mime Ghost glass protector being sent to me, but I might have to try iloome out.

iloome installed, mini-review
Ordered mine from amazon, came in about 2-3 days. First impression, the packaging for the flex glass was great. A box inside a little box, inside a thick protective covering, inside of a thin protective covering. It came with all the necessary things for a clean install- cleaning cloth, "hinge" tape, and dust remover. The flex glass was perfectly cut, although it only has a cutout for the speaker- no cutout for front camera or proximity. I have not noticed any difference in quality of the front camera or had any issues with the proximity sensor. Glass is crystal clear and so much better than the other type of screen protectors. The glass feel is perfect. 100% satisfied...never gonna have a phone without it again!

When you applied it were there bubbles?
I have this big fear that if I get a bubble in a glass SP I'll never be able to push it out. I always use wet SP because of this.

How does this compare to popular PET film screen protectors like the iSmooth?
Can someone with both comment on the differences?
I have the iSmooth, which works great with my Diztronic case. Clarity is also great, but it seems to attract so much oil!! My screen constantly gets greasy and becomes a fingerprint magnet. More so than cheaper screen protectors that I've put on my parents' phones. So does the oleophobic coating on the iloome work well?

This flex glass almost feels like the OEM glass. It was raining today and i noticed that when it hit the screen, the water immediately beaded. With that said, it's alot easier to clean! It attracts a bit less fingerprints than the PET films, but nothing significant. Definitely on the same scale as the OEM glass. Hope that helps

Ok, [email protected]$$. That wasn't called for. As for your mini review it would be helpful if you has a link to it. Just saying.......
Yes if you search iloome in the Nexus 5. Accessories section nothing about your supposed mini review comes up. So if you're going to post something, I suggest something useful.
BTW, the time it took for you to reply, you could have answered the question.............

Besides oleophobicity, is it also antifingerprint and antirefflective (so, matte, as its name implies)?
How is this compared to GLASS-M, MIME or other tempered glass protectors?

Amzer shatterproof screen protector

I have been hearing a lot of cases when our Galaxy SIII's screen has shattered when dropped that too not from a height. Then i heard of AMZER's shatter proof series and i pre-ordered it 3 days ago. Now my case protector has arrived and it is the toughest screen protector i have ever used. I was so lucky that i bought it on time. It was dropped by a kid with face on and nothing happened. This one is really tough guys.
Check this http://www.amzer.com/Amzer-ShatterP...-for-Samsung-GALAXY-S-III-GT-I9300-P94905.htm
It's definitely scratch proof, but shatter proof?
Yes I agree with the OP - knocked my sgs3 off and it hit the corner of the table and then floor - screen first - i have cracked by display on the sensation in a similar situation - this time not even a scratch and this thing sticks right on! Solid stuff here - will post a review later on! must order it guys only 29 bucks!

i have the verizon protector on mine, which doesnt go all the way to the edge, but when mine cracked, it rounded it self off when it ran under the screen protector and turned around like "ohh can't go that way" lol https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/s720x720/386262_10151093476528557_832449593_n.jpg

Scratched my s3 screen :(

Hi guys,
As the topic states, I noticed last week while cleaning my screen I have a scratch around 1 inch on the top left... No idea how it happened. With my S2 I dropped it several times on the floor and it's still clean as new. Any tip to the scratch?
Thanks
You can buy a screen protector which usually fills in the scratch so it's not noticeable and protects against future scratches!

most of the scratches are on the oleophobic coating. You can try this to see if it gets restored.

It fits good because it doesnt go all the way to the border of the screen itself
from seidio site :
This product is compatible with our ACTIVE®, ACTIVE® with Metal Kickstand, and ACTIVE® Extended with Metal Kickstand
I tried it with a tpu case and it did work (diztronic)
Update :
Im fully used to it .The screen is holding very good.. feels pretty solid. sensitivity still there and stays very easy to clean.
Light reflection is just like if it was naked.
So far so good
I'm curious if this would work with the otterbox defender after the crap plastic one is removed on the case. I'm looking for an alternative right now and if this would fit with the defender I would be happy indeed

I have a few questions about this protector I was hoping someone could answer:
1. I recall reading about another glass protector and people complaining there was a grid of dots on it. Is this one completely clear or is there any pattern on it?
2. Does it have an oleophobic coating as good as the naked glass? I've currently got a DBA protector on mine and finger grease is both more noticeable and much harder to wipe off than the naked screen.
3. Would this type of case hide or reduce the visibility of scratches already on the screen? The DBA case does that quite well. It just has too many other issues.
4. Does it come in blue?
Thanks!

I had an armorsuit on another device, and had intended to go that route with the X as well, but they still weren't shipping it. Picked up the 1cent Skinomi and put it on last night. Wet install isn't a big deal so long as you read the instructions, keep your hands wet with their spray, and also spray the protector. Get it wet enough that you can move it around once it's on the phone, then use the included squeegee to get the water out.
Can't even tell it's on there, but I feel better knowing that if I put my keys in the wrong pocket (what can I say, I have my dumb moments!), that I won't scratch up the screen.

I just can't stand the feel of wet applied protectors on the screen over the glass it comes with. I like the wet protectors on the back, gives it some hold on surfaces as well, but I went with a dry static for the front.

I honestly don't feel the difference. Probably a personal preference deal there.
Just got one of these and it works great. The wet apply made me a little nervous, and it looks like crap initially. After 24 hours though it looks pretty much perfect. It feels nice and isn't very noticeable. I didn't seem to get any dust under either. I'm guessing the solution helps squeegee out debris when you put the protector on.

Good screen protector, hide/prevent scratches?

Today I discovered I have a small scratch on my screen (no bigger than an 1/8th inch) but it's really bothering me, especially since I just got my phone a couple weeks ago and the glass is suppose to be scratch resistant.
What's a good suggestion for a screen protector? I did some searching and found zagg invisible shield. I've seen good
reviews and bad reviews for it.
Will anything "fix" or hide the scratch so it's not noticeable?
Thanks.

Should of bought one at the moment you got the phone. Take it it's not your first. A glass one should hide it but you will always know it's there. If you are like me it will just rent space in your head...

Take my word for it and try the amFilm protectors. If properly applied, you won't know it's there, and feels like glass. (after a few minutes of getting your skin oils worked in) If you don't believe me, then good luck in your search.
