nitro hd Aokp on p936?

Hi everyone! I'm planning on getting a p936 soon. My question is: is the official aokp for nitro HD compatible with the p936 variant? If not, is there any good roms (in terms of performance and battery life) that you would recommend? ? Many thanks!

Hi!
You can use LG Nitro HD rom. I own a P936, too and my favourite is PAC-Rom with WIND kernel.
It's quite stable. I get random reboots with all roms, but for me PAC/WIND is the most stable and battery friendly at the time.
Hi!
AOKP is good enough. Battery life is near ~2-3 days of light use. But CM10.1 is a good solution too.
Also you can try MIUI roms.

thanks! so you are using aokp with a p936 also?
As I don't use the P936 for gaming I cannot tell you about that. Normally I use it as phone (!), playing mp3, mailing, sms, internet, navigation, sometimes video or streaming live sports.
Heaviest use is mostly when I'm driving. MP3, navigation, BT for hands-free, some calls, checking mails. I never had any problems running these programs at the same times, no lags in navigation or playing music. That's enough for me.
PAC rom is stable with wind kernel, jellybam too. But I think ICS based roms are more stable with less battery drain (hono version or tnt). I missed in ICS based roms the fast charge feature, so I`m now to jellybam. But miroslav will develop the best rom for me I think only a little time to wait and he will solve the problems. As I told for me. I don`t play with the phone. Daily using I prefer a stable rom. If you like antutu high scores then I think it is not the right phone.

have you tried slimkat? I use 4.3 because it's had the best battery life. have you ran betterbatterystats to see what's using the battery? you can do some tweaks to improve the battery life with whichever rom you like.

I've seem to notice the best luck with CyanogenMod 11 Nightly (01/01/13 build). The battery drain hasn't been as bad. I tried CyanFox 4.4.2 and I felt that drained a bit quicker than CM11. Have you tried CM11? I know it's not at a stable release yet, but CM hasn't come out with a 4.4 stable release yet in general.
Seems like a lot of roms are still trying to iron out the bumps. I can post some battery results once i've tried CM11 for the rest of the day here.
I have, it was okay. Idk how to do any tweaks >.< honestly scared to try when idk what i am doing. So i rather be on the safe side & not mess with it, but I noticed there isnt very many roms & etc done for this phone :0/ okay so what about any of the 4.3 roms good on battery?
I'm a major fan of mrfeuss's 4.4 OmniROM. Haven't come across any bugs and am able to pull close to 48 hours with lite usage and listening to music almost all day. The XDA release of viper4android also works extremely well with it. Able to drastically increase the bass of my Sony MDR-XB400's while maintaining amazing clarity.

But you are getting good battery? Unfortunately i have to use my phone a little more than lite, more like medium usage & staying stock is jus ehhh annoying. Thank you very much everyone :0D I appreciate it.

A few phone calls, periodically texting, checking XDA and Facebook, surfing the web and listening to music. You could easily go a full day underclocked at 1.1GHz.

Okay sounds good thank you , gonna try it out :0)

[Q] Best LG G3 d855 ROM setup for battery ?

I used stock ROM, then I rooted my phone and I've got resurrection remix ROM for lollipop.
Today, friend told me that he got back to stock on his G2 and that gives him the best battery life.
So i just flashed VikingWay v1.2 but I think it drains battery too fast. What should I do?
What is Best ROM for d855 to have the best battery life? Or any other mods/features/kernels
to better the battery?
You can try stock chupachups 4.2 or AndroidNow HD ROM from Poland forum just look on google for it. I'm using the second one and for me battery is great around 5 hours SOT.
I used stock kitkat and SOT was 4 hours,
then I used cloudy kitkat and it was round same,
then I tried cloudy lollipop 2.2 and its better ... like 5 hours screen time,
but I will try cyanogenmod someday ... camera will go down maybe ... lets c
Phone is beast and best ... hungry for battery all time.
i just exchanged my oneplus for a lg g3 i can see the battery isn't the same
but still the phone is overall way better.
just used to 6h+ screen on on a basic day with 2h of gaming

Why is my battery so bad

hello, when I first bought this phone the battery life wasn't great. It was okay, maybe lasted a day. Now the battery barely lasts 4 hours. I am running CyanogenMod 12 which is android version 5.0.2. My device is rooted. I just don't understand why. Also say if I'm using my device it starts to get hot, and I mean very hot, I end up taking the battery out until its cooled.
Someone help please.
Thanks
hi !
normal ...
the problem with all Lollipop roms : it's not stable at all and sometime the battery is good but sometime there are big problems of drain ...unpredictable behavior ! all L roms are generaly umpredictable with buggs....
For now ,members use lollipop roms at their own risk ! like "alpha/beta testers" ...
It's still too young and have too many problems ...
If you want a great rom ,i suggest KK 4.4.4 ones (CM11 ,slimkat or pacman )
at this time i test pacman ( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=20808 ,link of official forum : http://forum.pac-rom.com/Thread-Pacman-I9195LTE-I91903G-9192duos-4-4-4-RC3-DEV )and it's really good ! :good:

Most stable ROM these days for LG G3 D855 ?

Yooo!
As the title. In terms of performance, battery bugless, etc ..
Thanks in advance.
This phone is dead. I figured asking wouldn't really help much. Need to figure it out ourselves. I'm looking for the same answer
Most stable.... unfortunately it is it's last stock... as for performance.... I would suggest rom based on AOSP. I can confirm that for D855 this one is pretty stable and on performance is reasonably good: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/rom-pixel-g3-aosp-t3571499
However it's clean AOSP, so you might not like it if you want some additional customization.....
Latest fulmics 7.5 works fine
