Sometime its not opening when i push to open it its not opening and i remain on same screen. When i perform hard reset or factory reatore its start working fine. But after one/ two days having same problem. I went to repair shop and he suggested me to flash siftware. I done it and its workung for 2 days but still same prob!! I m very disoppointed because i got it very expensive to spent my money and bear screen charges as well. Can anyone give me solution? Its hardware or software? Should i root this phone? In my thinking it should be software problem bcoz if it would have been hardware it never open. Waiting

Downgrading from 4.2.2 --> 4.1.2

I am kinda new to the HTC world, i have an Xperia S, which is rather easy to downgrade in contrast to HTC one. After upgrading my HTC One X to 4.2.2 my battery is draining very much, it is nearly unusable. So i wanted to if it is possible to downgrade without opening bootloader or S-OFF or anything.
The answer is simple - not possible.
Because HTC One X has S-On, you can't downgrade. And until now there is no safe nor official method to S-Off it.

only way is unlocking bootloader

Do not flash anything from this forum or follow any guides in this forum, this is for the one x only.
You need to find the forum specific to the one x+ or you will have problems

Cant upgrade hboot?

Hey guys just wanted to flash after very long time, i have hboot 1.32 and want to upgrade, but i cant find any OTA for my HTC__032 (all new roms are force closing for me ) can someone help me ? :x
You don't need to upgrade hboot for jelly bean roms...if you want to update through official ota you need stock nandroid backup for your cid and it's stock recovery and stock boot.img...then you could update with ota the hboot

1.32.....hmmmm can't recall it being on the htc one x ! the 1.31 and the 1.33 are well known......please check your bootloader and tell us what is all there ?
1 .39 dont know why i wrote .32 , but then i really cant see reason why every AOSP rom start restarting after few minutes of installation :/ (and then i dont even get into UI)

[HELP] HTC One X Stuck in Airplane Mode

Hi All,
So last night I got given a HTC one x as from a relative due to the getting a recent upgrade So as every developer does I was like yay lets mod it like mad, So I used htc dev to unlock the bootloader and flashed this with the boot.img from the cyanogen mod and then went to put my phone in recovery to get a custom .zip to boot from however when booting into recovery this being a splash screen of a phone with an exclamation mark I was unable to transfer the zip due to the phone not being seen by my pc when in recovery, however decided lets persevere and proceeded to flash a few different boot.img and then even a recovery.img eventually I got into the OS, however It was stuck in airplane mode so I decided to commit to a reset wiping all the data from my phone, and still it is stuck in airplane mode I get no imei, I cannot even turn wifi on
The phone is HTC one X, was originally on orange however I unlocked it with one of the codes you can buy online,
software number: 3.16.61.6
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and from this I will very much have learnt to backup before playing!
if you need any more information please let me know
If we look at your software number you can see you don't have the tegra variant...so if you have the dual core snapdragon, lte version please go into the right forum for your device !!

Please could you point me in the right direction?
3.16.61 does exist on the quad-core. Please check your bootloader, does it say evita or endeavour ?
