Framaroot issue - LG Optimus G Pro

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help when I try and use the gandalf exploit it just hangs then closes. Help would be nice or another way to root with no computer since I don't have one sadly.

[Q] Removing Lookout

Got a brand new S4 and would like to remove Lookout. I've deactivated the app from Device Administrators and then tried to uninstall it but the only option I have is to uninstall updates. Has anyone been able to remove this succesfully?
Root it and then use titanium backup and use that to get rid of it.

If not rooted, you can also go to settings>more>app manager>lookout>then disable the app.
loockout was the first app i deleted after acquiring root access....that app is so annoying.

I'm unable to root my gS4 because the Lookout app is blocking the rooting software. Anyone has any idea how to bypass this problem. Thanks

Flash a recovery and then flash root, you're guaranteed root then, lookout or not.

Um what's the 'issue'?
Are you on "Touched By SGSIV V 1.4"?
What is the fix you tried?
There is a link saying it might fix it when you go to rec it freezes and force close the rom has two cameras on it because of that issue not a big deal just wanted to get some feed back to see if someone knows

Just delete the camera apk that doesn't work using Titanium Backup or a root explorer.

[Q] xposed Mod

Has anyone gotten it working?
I've frozen all 6 Knox apps in Titanium but it still gives me this error message: "cannot write /data/xposed/modules.whitelist"

Are you using the Xposed 2.3 Beta. It's the only one built for 4.3
Hmm its 2.2, guess I will have to dig for 2.3. Thanks!

Got it working, thanks for the help!
I have it installed as well 2.3, but I'm having issues with a couple of modules, which isn't suprising, just need some time to get them sorted.. xblast specifically..

[Q] Remove Qslide

Hello - can anyone help me successfully remove Qslide from my rooted, stock LG Optimus G Pro, ATT E980?
I have seen two articles for this, both flashable zips give me an error saying that it can not "map" it, and the other was a status7.
I would really appreciate any help here, alternative methods, etc.
*hell, I may even throw you 5-10 bucks just for the help.
Thanks in advance
Assume you tried this?

After I flash, I get that error that says unable to map...and then I am in a bootloop and my phone will not start.
*I used CWM to flash - is this wrong??
Thank you anyway.
Any other methods? OR maybe someone experienced this and can offer a solution?

Yes - I am on 10p, is this my issue?
It might be. I haven't been able to update, so I can't be sure. How did you put CWM on the phone?

- Decompile LGSystemUI.apk
- Find LGSystemUI/res/value/bools.xml
- Look for "floating_launcher" & change "true" to "false"
- Recompile & done
I decompiled LGSystemUI.apk and went to the bools.xml.. --- Searched for 'floating_launcher' and it didn't return anything.
