Nope. If you're a root/custom ROM user, don't. Knox is gonna mess with your life if u do. (Unless your phone came with 4.3 outta the box.
Smack that thanks button if I helped!

Hi
As you can read from the above it all depends what user you are. If you need a new ROM every day: leave it as it is. For a plain vanilla user, that's me, there is nothing mind-throwing in 4.3.
For the last case, why don't you just use it for a couple of days, read around on GNote 2 with 4.3 a bit and then decide if you want it?

As topic says, what about us.. What about 4.1.2 official rom, because s3 got official 4.1.2..

Relax, it was JUST released this week for ALL s3s! Not! OK. Really, the S3 ROM is out for POLAND from what I read, so it will take time for everyone else to get it as well. Now, we're on a different device, so I'd relax a little it'll come out! Samsung is fairly good at releasing builds and updates.
The first word sums it up.
We haven't. We will. Relax. I suggest a robust Valpolicella :good:
Sorry for my panic attack and thanks for replies.. I hope that we will get that rom soon... And i hope it will be improved and bug free
I thought it has already been leaked

It just not a big deal to me. 4.1.1 to 4.1.2...I'm really eager expecting 4.2 release....

[Q] multi tasking on the us variant gs3?

was just wondering why the heck does the galaxy s2 have a version of the new 4.1.2 update with all the new goodies including the new note 2 multi tasking option when the us variants gs3's still havent seen anything? i can understand waiting around for a legit 4.1.2 firmware to take some time, but really? the galaxy s2? before the 3?

In assuming when 4.1.1 came, Samsung said that the s3 had to get it first and as they were working on it, 4.1.2 released and they just went with that for the s2 and others

but the first to get it was the international gs3, i figured the us variants were next in line, not the s2, this boggles my mind im shocked noone was able to port it to the our phones yet, really lost on this topic
Not soon ... they need to sell Note 2 too.
They will definitely push it back.

Ya gotta read around here more. We have a WIP build here in our dev section. Good rule of thumb is if you don't really know your way around then its best to stay in your own backyard..ie the att note II forum . Were here to help!

Best advice ever. I recommend lurking a bit here for a few days, maybe a week, to really learn as much as possible. It may seem daunting at first, but it is totally worth it. I'm a recovering flash addict myself, but we do have CM10 in the works and like you, I'm very excited! If you would like, PM me or something and I'll help intro you a bit to XDA.

[Q] Why does the AT&T Note II still lacking an official CM release?

It makes me sad sometimes that my old Galaxy Note is running 4.2.1, while my new and shiny Note II is still on 4.1.2 (sure I can get a 4.2.1 ROM, but its not CM).
Why the hold up? I have no knowledge about how ROMs are made, or how they are ported, so I cannot say what the holdup is.
But how long did the Galaxy Note have to wait after release to start getting official nightly releases?
Should we expect the same time frame for the Note II?

How dare CM not make an official release for tutusinghsohi to enjoy. After all, he pays all of their wages and then some. Shame on them..
This **** is too funny

So any ideas on when the 4.3 software is expected to roll out for N7100 (Note II International Version) ?

may be this month.
2 weeks.

Tips for a pleasant XDA:
Search before asking. Someone has likely already asked.
Spell your words completely, and use punctuation. It confuses people when you use "u" and "ur" and "dat", or when you wrongly use "there/their/they're/your/you're".
Be nice. Don't be rude, just move on to another post without leaving a comment. We are not 7 years old.
And PLEASE, do not ask for the "best" anything. We all have our preferences.

I think so i mean the 4.3 leaked editions have compatible mods for the air command and i seriously hope that they have integrated those in the upcoming update and moreover the note 2 4.3 update is supposed to be compatible with the galaxy gear  so lets hope for the best :good:

There's pretty much zero chance it will include these features officially

Why do u say that?? I mean the Note 2 is supposed to be compatible with the galaxy gear right ? and if that's the case then the Note 3 Features should be included logically.
It is Bluetooth LE in 4.3 Android that is needed with galaxy gear manager that is needed to run gear... doesn't need other note 3 features
So Samsung will not release note 3 features to note 2..it makes business sense for them
Mj5 will be released as official.. so no note 3 apps on official release..
Lucky for us we have electron team to port those features
