[Q] samsung galaxy s3 i9300 cpl 3 button not working - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

i have bin searching everywhere for a fix for my samsung galaxy s3 i9300 international, but i have not found anything!
well i have found alot of fixes but not for s3.
My phone is now rooted, its working. it starts and there seems to nothing wrong with it. except that i can not get in to recovery/download mode with the 3 button combo, only way is if is use ADB, or if i tell the phone to reboot in to rec/down, but i want it to work with 3 button method, so if i brick it i can fix it without having to buy one jig... is there anything i can do about this? Anyone who knows how to fix it!?

well my power button finally broke

I was updating roms and doing my usual fiddling when i noticed that my power button was starting to give me issues. I noticed it specifically after updating CWM from 6.0.3.1 to 6.0.4.3 (i think, from memory).
Now it will randomly flick on and off, bring up the pewer menu and even shut itself down without me touching it. It seems t be overly sensitive and not very sensitive at the same time.
Any hope this can be a software issue and not a hardware one? I've dont lots of searching but i havent found anything more than the possibility of it being a broken power button.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to keep this phone till the S5, but i may be forced to go to the S4 or note 3 if theres no way to fix it....

unbrick a i747m with broken screen

hi, i have a situation that i could really use some expert help with. i have a samsung galaxy s3 sgh-i747m that is bricked, and has no glass and a broken lcd. now i can flash it in odin, and it passes, and it boots up (i hear the samsung music as it does during startup) and i have had it connected to a working screen to confirm that it does load up to the point of the second samsung logo, but freezes there, and doesnt go any further. im pretty sure that i need to get it to the recovery menu and factory reset/wipe, and then wipe dalvik-cache, but i dont know the order of the menus, or just exactly where the menu items are in order to attempt to do this "blind" (eg. which line the "yes" option is on when it gives you the choice to pick a bunch of "no"s and one "yes") if i could figure out the menus, or if someone has a menu tree list or pictures, i could use them to figure it out and then possibly have it start up and use a mhl cable to see the screen, as i believe the touch still works on this phone.. if anyone can help me with this id really appreciate it. (side point: i traded a working iphone 4s and a gevey sim for this trashed phone and would really like to get it working so that i dont end up on the losing end of my trade.... been frustrated about this for almost a month now...)
Much Thanks!

touchkeys and hawrdware keys stopped working?

So i got my galaxy note 4 today and rooted it and was happily enjoying it until all of a sudden after a reboot all of my soft and hardware keys stopped working. the only keys that work are the home and volume up button. I tried factory resetting my phone and everything and it still wont work, anyone else encounter this?

Probably should not have rooted till an official root for this version as in AT&T, not T-Mobile has been made. There could be some hardware differences since none of the roots in the international version are cross compatible.
There's plenty of others in the forum I know that have used the T-Mo root method without encountering my issue. I doubt that's the issue

[Q] Galaxy Tab S stucked at Battery Charging Screen - Hardware Keys dont work

Hi,
I was about to unroot my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 sm-t705 (from IronMan Rom 1.15) back to stock but after deleting the internal card of the tablet and gettign stucked at the Samsung Boot Screen without being able to power it off using the hardware keys I'm now lost.
Eventually my Galaxy Tab shut itself off after days of showing the Samsung Bootscreen but now all I'm getting when pluging it in to the power cord is a sign of the battery on the screen (not even the animation) and none of the hardware keys work.
I'm not able to get into the downloading mode or even the recovery because of that hardware keys that dont work.
Do you guys have an idee or instruction how to fix it?
unbelievable, after 48h of hell it works now, I ran out the battery and tried again by pressing Power+Volume Down+Home key.
it worked now, I dont know why now and not 30 tries earlier.

[Q] start up screen is flashing, won't turn on or off

Hello, I'm looking for help with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T110.
The problem I am having is it is stuck on the screen that flashes on when you first power on the tablet, so it's the screen that says samsung galaxy tab 3 lite SM-T110. It isn't on solid, it just keeps flashing over and over again. I can not turn the power off. I tried holding the power button for a full minute and got nothing.
I have tried to get to recovery mode by holding power, volume up and home but all I get is a screen with a little android laying down saying no command.
I know next to nothing about tablets so I am really at a loss here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know exactly what happened, it's my kids tablet. The battery was dead so I charged it and when I took it off the charger I noticed this problem. There is a pretty good chance it was dropped but of course no one is admitting that.
The only thing I can do with it is go into download mode. If I try to get into recovery mode it just shows a little android guy on his back and says no command. The start up screen flashes continuously until the battery goes dead. I can't turn it off at all.

You are still safe if you can access to download mode, try to flash a new stock rom with odin. It works most of the times
Any chance you could link me to a good tutorial? I am totally clueless when it comes to this stuff.

Alright, I have a link "Its for tab 3 10.1 p52xx series" here http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...p52xx-soft-t3051604/post59361000#post59361000 , make good use of it. Make sure that you use this firmware for your device "SM-T110" http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T110/ , choose the one that suit you the best or from your region. Good Luck, thanks button or a cup of coffee could be useful.

Thanks! I will try this and let you know how I make out.
Hi I am having the same problem. Nothing that I know of has been done to mine. It's my mom's actually and I know it has been running slow. All I get is the flashing screen and little android guy saying no command. Tried the home power and volume up and that's when I get the little A guy with no command message. What can I do since I don't get anything else.
