Repartitioning Internal Memory - Oppo R819

Oppo R819 just have 1gb memory app and just about 700-600mb for user, is there any method to repartitioning them?
I looked many method to repartitioning MTK6589 based but since theres no Stock ROM flashable from SP Flashtool im afraid to try it coz if something bad happen my limited knowledge will be no helped
I think it will be good if someone who more capable make some mod to repartitioning the app memory like 2 or 3gb or maybe can make it become unified storage like nexus family or lenovo tablets and im sure a lot of R819 user will be gratefully thanks

Share me ur cell's ebr1 ,ebr2 file from stock rom and ur system mount point .i will increase ur app's storage

distan7 has done it already. He asked me to upload the Ebr1 & Ebr2 files to a page on my site - http://oppo.vi8.info
They are there now - "2GB-OPPO-R819(from-distan7).zip".
Very soon he will write the instruction "How-To" and place it here, on XDA, for the users of our Oppo R819.

I will wait it. But I wonder why oppo gives us only 1 GB internal memory to install application. Is there a limitation from the hardware?

There is a tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2596030 that can be used from advanced users that already have the recovery package. Having that package is necessary in case something goes wrong.

I am not sure how successful he was, from what I read in the OPPO forums his R819 is dead now. Of course it can be unrelated to the repartition mod. By the way the files you uploaded are not modified, I checked with the original EBR files and they are exactly the same.

Yup my bad, I sent Viktor the wrong EBR. Already had it up running in 2 GB Mod and now we can use 3 GB Mod using modified ReParted Script and Aroma Installer. Will set up a thread for this.

You can try the flashable .zip from PwnCakes. He made it for Quantum but he mentions here that it should work for all ROMs:

I should mention that the latest Quantum is based off of SlimKat. The issue has been mentioned in that forum before so I imagine this should fix it for you as well.

I looked through the link and the main page of that post, but it doesn't look like there are instructions. I just want to make sure before I go ahead with it, do i flash/install the zip for exfat the same as any other zip with TWRP?

I believe so, yes. I haven't needed to use it myself but it is a flashable zip. I recommend searching through the Quantum thread a bit to see how people have done this and how it works. My guess would be wipe cache and dalvik as well. Sorry I don't have more info.

I do not know if this can help
But I copied Several TWRP to ZE551KL and ZE550KL (Laser)
Both install, but none of them works because lock or seje, freezes the screen.
The problem will be finding some Developer Forum in which interest in doing that.
I believe a TWRP ready, we could rather be modified.
Let's hope that someone can help

Tablet Chinese MTK8752 S960 vFA013m Stock Rom + BeTools Software

I have buyed one tablet chinese ROM 32 Gb 4G LTE Octa Core MT8752
for a month I tried to find the original software but I have not found because there is no manufacturer's website, and after many difficulties I found everything, software and original ROM.
So I decided to make available the rom and the software to the public internet.
To do this it needs the software BeTools which must be opened with a key that I have put in the zip file and then with that software you load the scatter files and after starting the download of the entire stock rom by Com Mediatek usb driver.
Download entire Software , Key and Rom here.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0oQtJ4wGWu3Wk8ybmQ2TElEVUU
download
since I am newbie, they block me my links, and I how do I help others when I can not?
So copy link and paste.

Great! I have same tablet. celioregoli, Please upload nvram.bin or nvram.img backup from your tablet. Here is great tutorial for radio frequency parameter backup http://bbs.elephone.hk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3843&page=1&extra=#pid35479.
J see only 1GB RAM and 4 CPU J have 4GB RAM and 8 CORE CPU J can't do file scatter in mtk droid
Do toy have good file scatter for this tablet? It's on Mediatek 8752
I bought a like tablet from aliexpress: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Octa...2389702045.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.63.BNKjtP
I bricked it after unlocking the bootloader, then tried flashing this firmware posted. It flashed but bricked it worse. Was wondering if anybody had this rom.
BTW: kingoroot does root it, so once rooted, if somebody does have this tablet they should be able to back up the rom using mtk droid tools.
even to me, and the same thing happened with kingroot but I then resolved with betools. I have other firmware if you want to put them in the download and so you can try them.

This recowery work fine with this tablet.

The only way is to use BeTools because the scatter file is incomplete and I modified the scatter files with the correct names of the images and now works well with SpFlashTool but I suggest using BeTools.
I'm uploading more images for the 960, do not worry, when you load the correct firmware, the tablet comes back again.
BeTools work fine under windows.
Windows vista work but sometimes freeze.
With Windows XP work fine and fast.

Do you have any recommendations of miui based rom?
@zhukry I think MIUI is MIUI based...
@MM.626 So, after backup,
your recovery does not compatible for encrypted MIUI phones.
Of course if anyone make decrypt data, after your recovery will usable...

Format data working
Advanced wipe working
MTP enable/disable working
PC recognize the phone, like Redmi Note 3 PRO
As I afraid ROM install FAILED because "This package is for device: helium, this device is kenzo"
You need edit your TWRP for helium.
Only way to success installation, if users should edit every updater script of ROM before installation every time...
I think this is complicated... XD
I stopped test. This is cardinal issue/fault.
If you edited your TWRP for Helium, so do not hesitate, send me it, and I will test this

[DISCONTINUED][Root][SM-G955U/U1][SM-G955W][Snapdragon][V6_Bootloader][EDL_Method]

Root Method For S8+ SM-G955U/U1 Found Here
[Root][SM-G955U/U1][SM-G955W][Snapdragon][V5_Bootloader][EDL_Method][Safestrap]
Rooted Nougat RomThis is last nougat rom made for S8 it is prerooted with flashfire and safestrap preinstalled. It has CSC stuff for all carriers added. Its debloated slightly with knox removed. Some stuff may not work but im not sure as I cannot test but this stuff may include fingerprint and or face recognition. If stuff doesnt work it probably related to using pie modems and non-hlos on a nougat rom which you have no choice.
Downloads
Rooted_G95*USQS3BRB1.rar
BL_G955_NOUGAT_V7.tar.7z
Includes Fingerprint and Face Unlock fix for above nougat rom. Just flash in BL slot in odin after everything else
Safestrap-4.10-B03-DREAMQLTE-PIE.zip Will boot straight to safestrap only for pie roms
Safestrap-4.10-B03-DREAMQLTE-NOUGAT.zip Will Give you the safestrap splash screen on boot
Directions
Safestrap Method
1. Extract system.img from the Rooted_G95*USQS3BRB1.rar and copy to phone reboot to safestarp and flash system image reboot to download and flash BL_G955_NOUGAT_V7.tar.md5 in odin
2. If coming from pie rom you will have to flash Safestrap for nougat zip to keep from bootlooping into safestrap

If you are using root no. There is no fix this is implemented by Samsung in the kernel we need for 7.0 root. If you flash Oreo or pie then it's not present as they use different kernels. It's not a issue. It's a safety feature implemented and I get as much if not more sot than 100% charges.

Im just jumping in here so don’t know if this pertains but you can not copy a file larger than 2.5 gigs while booted too safestrap that is just the limitations of safestrap so if copying system images the phone needs to be booted to the rom or you need to pull out sdcard and manually copy to it then place back in phone

We barely have a stable official Xposed for Oreo.... Let alone Pie.. as far as I know, we have no way of installing any form of Xposed on Pie. At least on this device because of our locked BL etc etc etc... I don't even know if anyone has developed an Xposed that works on Samsung devices for pie, but I do know there is a forked Xposed for Pie floating around but obviously it's not an official update from Rovo himself because like I said, we barely have an official Xposed for Oreo.
