Damn man!! Look harder and you will find it. Hell Google search will give you several results. If you can't do either of those just Google kingo root it does work for 4.3. Next time look before posting. There must be a dozen stupid post just like this already in general and q&a.

Use a program (for Windows) called Kingoroot.
First turn USB debugging on in developer settings, then go to your homescreen.
Start the mrogram, wait until it says that your device is connected and press then the root button.
You should be rooted + the KNOX counter stays 0.

I mean heck if you cant read a few of the threads you should just get yourself an iPhone like the rest of the idiots.
Talking about idiots. Why aren't the mods stepping up? Since 4.3 has been out there must be 2 dozen of these exact same threads. While I understand people might need help but all these repeates just keep the real questions from getting answered.

[Q] Root for Android 2.3.3

How long do you think it will take for a ROOT to come out for the Android 2.3.3?
Between now and the end of time.
We don't know and asking for etas won't get you anywhere.

I don't know... but glad someone finally thought to ask!
(sike!)
i am patiently waiting. I miss my old evo rooted. I was actually given a brand new evo that had 2.2 on it and the ota showed up and without thinking i updated. So mad about that.
Thanks, I'll be patient.
I understand this is hard work and you guys are doing it all for love (or for something other than money), so I'm not going to add my voice to the chorus asking when the root solution for 2.3.3 will be ready--even though I'm a-yearning and a-craving to upgrade and re-root my phone. I'll just say thanks for now to all you geniuses for making these phones so much better!
Hope it's soon because I'm ready I just got my evo 4g yesterday and tried to superoneclick root and z4root and it didn't work.. Never thought to check and see if 2.3 can root. Damn

the more people ask, the less likely it will be done!
And if you had searched, you would have seen this has already been asked!
I bet root will be available when you stop making new accounts just to make the same thread asking the same question over and over again.
If anything, the devs are probably getting tired of the obnoxious kids in the Evo forums badgering them. Instead of trying harder, I'd give up if I were in their shoes.
Believe it or not, there are worst things than not being able to root your phone.

Root? Which Mod? What am I to do?

I give in. I'm gonna root my device. Been looking for the right steps and don't know what means what. Not stupid, just cheap/chicken. Wanna learn and just don't know where to begin. Guy on YT roots in a few minutes - just doesn't show clear screen shots. You guys talk about this or that mod - I get lost in stocks, cm's, and kernels. What's a noob to do? Are there various 'roots' or just one basic? Any kits to apply? And then what - after it's rooted? What about the counter - why's that a big deal? Too many questions? Not the right ones? Help! Please! Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom.

Just viewed cursed4eva's root video - is it REALLY that easy? I loaded superuser, titanium backup, mobile Odin, ES fe/tm, ROM tbp - and kept em up - when I got this phone. I figured it would be helpful 'just in case' and now I'm down to like 3g outta 12g after only 104 days from activation. I've reached my 'jic' point.
Sooo... Gonna do it tomorrow morning (omg - it's like I'm 6 the NBC...)

I'm in the same boat as you are as I am a new user from Iphone to Android. Totally in love with the my SG3 and looking into rooting my phone..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802160
Is pretty helpful, I've been reading up on all the stickies as much as I could and hopefully I will be brave enough to tackle all this soon. Good luck!
EDIT: I was looking at the cursed4eva suggested by the other member on this thread and I believe the rooting methods on there is for the I9300 not the SGH-747M model. Maybe someone with more experience can confirm this?
Just down load the root tool kit in the stickies. Walks you through step by step and the file you download contains everything you need in order to root

This will probably help. Follow the instructions, I just did and it is very simple.
Download the root kit from stickies like said above. That's what I used. Simple. Actually thought it was easier then rooting my note. Def easier then when I rooted my inspire or LG nitro or all the iPhone jailbreaks

To be a bit more clear.. There indeed can be many kinds of routes, some can reset your counter, and I believe some don't. Counter is a number that changes if you root your device so T-Mobile knows you messed with it. If your counter gets reset, they can't tell if you rooted or not.
I'm not on the T-Mobile network, so I didn't really care which. Head over to the developer section of this device category and read the thread by 'Simplelife' on how to root! Pick a method best for you. I personally used option 2.

Just picked up 2 of these T-Mo Note 2's last weekend. I just used the Galaxy Note2 ToolKit v3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957720 Just follow the on screen instructions, and make sure you read all the options. It wasn't as easy as unlocking and rooting my Nexus... but all I had to do is click one more option lol!
Thanks everyone for input. I used toolkit v3 and it worked flawlessly. Got root, recovery, and jedi x11. Friggin awesome.

I think the easiest method would be to flash TWRP and then flash superzu via TWRP.

Google?
What is this Google you speak of?
It sounds so futuristic and full of millions of results not relevant to my question.
I figured I should ask the "pros" on XDA before I searched on a search engine and not find what I need, but you seemed to have debunked it Einstein.
So helpful, as much sarcasm that was in my previous statement.
I was hoping someone could link me to this, but I wasn't aware it was so horrible and gruesome to just help someone with their questions. In such a rude demeanor, might I add.
I just got this device and havent been around this forum as long as the S4 has been out.
I had the Note 2 before this and in that forum, they were kind enough to link me to TrevE's Wifi Mod".
Now that, was a helpful and courteous forum.
I've looked on countless pages of multiple threads and found nothing.
Thank you for your response, as un-useful as it is, I appreciate it.

Could someone that has successfully done the above methods please post instructions.
I've been trying at this for the past 3 hours and neither method works.
The first method simply doesn't work anymore, I get an error with view log report, but when clicking log report, there is none!
The second method is beyond my level of phone knowledge, I tried to overwrite the file provided, my phone rebooted and I don't see any change, and the instructions are very user-unfriendly
I'm pulling my hair out because for my previous phone it was so easy, I just had to use titanium backup and deleted a specific file. I don't understand why this is so difficult

Yes, you will trip the Knox flag, currently no method to reset it. TWRP is fine, just do some reading about restoring backups.. If done incorrectly, you will experience what's been coined "The Brickloop"

Just root it using Odin and Chainfires auto-root method, I'm not familiar with the custom kernel as yet, so I won't comment on that. Once you root, you still keep all stock functionality, just have administrative rights, so to speak. If you're not too familiar with rooting, flashing, etc.. I wouldn't recommend starting right now with the Note 3, still early in the aftermarket development stage..

Considering all of the challenges that people have faced with Fierce bootloops - and for a while no way way to fix them, this is a situation where you would do very well to do some reading before you do anything. There are two root methods currently both are outlined in the Original Android Development Section for the TMOBILE NOte 3 - you can download everything you need from there - and I think it would be very helpful for you to read thru what others have done and experienced before you do anything - then you can make your own decision about which root method is best for your needs.
I don't mean to sound sanctimonious or anything but if there ever was a time that reading thoroughly first was a good thing to do - this is one of those times..good luck

What did my post have to do with your asking for a link? Well, I didn't want to be this direct but If you simply opened the Original Android Development thread and took less than a minute to read, you wouldn't need to ask for a link. You would see that there were two threads available that offered details that would give you exactly what you wanted. Two different ways to root.
In fact, in less time than it took you to write your post and wait for an answer, you would have had exactly what you were looking for.
My response to you was a gentle reminder that reading is a good thing.

I am sorry you felt I was ridiculing you. That was not my intent at all. THis forum is loaded with people who have have had major issues when flashing a recovery which is often the next step after rooting - there are more reports of people who have had to return their note 3 to TMOBILE than I can remember seeing on a single phone in a very long time. My Suggestion for you to read was purely intended to help you - it is easy to let others do the work for you - when often trouble could have been avoided by being more educated. What struck me as odd was the fact that it was so easy to find the link you were looking for - if you only opened one section of the forum in the Original Android Development you would have found it. But that is besides the point.
My comments were always supportive - and intended to help you. Period. I am sorry that you are so caught up in the " I want what I want when I want it "- that you can't see that. XDA is a forum designed for people to learn more about their phones and to ultimately try to get more out of them than you can get in a Stock phone...I have been in your shoes before and done exactly what you did when asking for a link - and have gotten a similar reply to the one I gave you. I am grateful it happened to me because it forced me to take a step back - do a little reading - learn more about the challenges others have faced and in the end, avoid those same problems myself.
Once more, I am Sorry you feel I was ridiculing you - couldn't be farther from the truth - I wish you well and hope you enjoy your NOTE3. Have a nice day my friend.

Once more, I am Sorry you feel I was ridiculing you - couldn't be farther from the truth - I wish you well and hope you enjoy your NOTE3. Have a nice day my friend.

I may be wrong but I thought that using that option in Wanam Exposed was cosmetic only. It changes that to Official in Settings - but doesn't really effect how your phone is recognized as being 'altered" - LIke I said, I might be wrong, but that is what I heard. You might check with someone who knows more about this than I do
Good luck

That's what I thought also but when I tried to go to the ota update setting it told me that this is a modified system and when I use that module then it told me that there was no further updates... so I guess that made it work. ..
