Installation instructions (Simple):
Download
Go to recovery
Choose ultimate
Flash and reboot
THIS WILL WIPE
Installation instructions (Newbie):
If your coming from stock then root your phone.
Once rooted download rom manager from android market and flash clockwork mod recovery, make sure u choose i9000 when prompted
Download ULTIMATE and put in SD CARD of your phone.
Then go to recovery by turning off your phone, then pressing volume up, power and home button until it says SGS I9000
Then if u end up in samsung recovery then click apply sdcard update.zip, now you will end up in recovery (You might have to repeat this twice)
Then click choose zip from sd card, choose ULTIMATE
Click YES and Reboot.

Gonna try this one. Sounds promissing. I was on doc's JP8 v9 but had problem with market downloads so I reverted to JPO v8 where I have same problem.

you can find it on XDA, more tweak make it so smooth, and change it on build.prop
just debug.performance.tuning from 0 to 1 can make it better.
And I delete Google Current apps, because the background sync make GNex slower.
I tried this rom 2 days before public, no bugs, no error (maybe with me)

The download link so good, i'm uploading new mirror for you but it slow, 1 hours and 30min
i fixed the phone lag, the camera rotaion lag can't fix, because i don't know why it lag =)) sad too

Simply changing this, for fix the "problem" of performance? (just debug.performance.tuning from 0 to 1)
I can do it on my stock rom 4.2.1 rooted?

change debug.performance.tuning is one of lot change in my rom, but just change it to make your phone better \m/
And turn off background sync of Goolge Current and reboot ^^
if you rooted, install Rom Toolbox and change it, or use anything can mount system/build.prop

I had the same problem in the test version of 0.8, swapping the Phone app fixed it, and it worked just fine, but IDK, maybe you need to reinstall the rom, It works for me just fine, if it still doesn't work, install a different rom with 2.3.x android on it and just without wiping install my rom, because you won't need to get into the setup, or do you mean the CyanogenMod Settings? That's a bug with an application IDK the name of.

Instalation Method:
1.- Wipe /data/, /system/, /cache/, dalvik cache
2.- Install zip "PURE BEAN V1
3.- Flash gapps
4.- Restart device, once booted Dont touch for 10 minuites! (very important for pure experience)

Nope no issue if you have a issue what ROM are you coming from. Flash a CM rom let data connect than try this one or a simple reboot. I was the tester for this rom

To all users in here, to include OP, please remember that work of another (any other) needs permission and credits. This includes kernel and source, as with any rom/kernel combination.
The kernel being alluded to above is not allowed here on XDA - Why? Search around to seek the answer, not going to use this thread here to relive that discussion.
ROM is ROM....kernel is kernel....just because a user is running a "forbidden on XDA" kernel, does not make the rom a bad thing.
Let's get back to the rom discussion. Shall we?

Just to clarify what Naddict stated, this ROM does NOT contain the kernel blurred out in the screen shots posted by another member. It contains standard CM kernel. Big thanks to @mitchellreece for quick action posting source.

When you first install this ROM, you may ask where everything is. What about the calculator? The calendar? Doesn't everybody use YouTube? Why not include them then?
Verizon, Samsung and Google should not tell us what we have on our phones. That should be our choice!​

Install in 6 Steps:
1. Download the attached data.zip file.
2. Extract the zip.
3. Place the entire unzipped data folder on the root of your SD card.
4. On the Home Screen, press Menu, Nova Settings,
5. Go to Backup and Import, hit Restore or Manage Backups
6. Select ObjectiveROM Theme

The S-Pen itself works perfectly, but the special features are simply not there.

So what exactly IS in this rom? I see no details in the OP at all aside beanstown based

The entire idea of this ROM is that there is nothing in it. You are not limited by Samsung, Google or Verizon by what you can have to have. You choose.

If you want some of the missing apps, I will provide them in the 3rd post when I get time to compile them together.

Gonna try this! I am currently on MJE though... And this claims to be an NC2 ROM... Will it still work?

You will need to upgrade to nc2, then flash this rom.

So, Completely re-doing my phone? As stated, By completely wiping my phone, and putting stock non-rooted NC2 firmware on it or what?
