should have this thread in the original android development section

What is the difference between this group and the original group?
BT is not working
Mobile data/voice is not working for me.
Camera not working.
But this is looking good... Would have tried it if voice/data was working.
Let's hope for the next build
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

It's completely based on CyanogenMod and is not an original development of mine. Therefore I don't think it should be in the Original Development section.

I've uploaded the C6903 files to my drive. Please check and report. And this is the first alpha build. I'll be adding changes in the subsequent builds. The main issue is the vendor blobs. Let's see.

I think it's more this is for stock based roms whilst original is for AOSP roms, I could be wrong, but that's how I see it
Sent from my Xperia Z1 using xda app-developers app

I have not yet seen any CyanogenMod build for our device by FXP etc. That's why I thought of sharing this with you guys. There will be updates when some important changes will be merged or if I can get things working.

Nothing actually. I was not getting their links. That's why thought of building it myself and shared it. You can use whichever you feel like.

Without working cam and mobile data is it unusable for me

Why should I choose this one instead of miui? Is it faster? (miui is veeeeeery slow)
Screenshots?
my own opinion for who asks about this rom:
in old releases (android 2.x) its ui was wonderful. But now, it is not different from any custom roms which has lots of addition from paranoid, aokp, cm... i am talking about only ui.
for performance and battery life, you should try.

Yeah, agreed with this. No different UI from other roms, but it's smooth. It's worth a try!
interesting. will try this. thanks!
Great rom
Do you think is it possible to add " change notification background "' for next release?
Thx
Edit : I just find it : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302147
Edit 2 : Xposed don't Work... Work only with system theme... So if you can add" 2600000000 2760000000 3400000000 change notification background " in next release, it was perfect for me
Love the bootanimation...

Got a bug. 9 out of 10 times when I click on a notification, the respective app doesn't open. The system just acts like I never clicked.
All in all its super fast but that bug is making it unusable for me.

Warning: Extra Large Images !
FAQs:
1) Where is the app switcher gone?
A: Double tap the home button for recent apps.
2) Why doesn't long pressing the home button show recent apps?
A: Answer given in (1).
3) Where is multiwindow?
A: Still undergoing development at omni. May be added in Alpha 1, if stable.
Update: Yep, made its way into Alpha1 alright!
4) How do I use multiwindow/split view?
A: Open two apps (pretty obvious), Double tap home button. Long press the app that isn't currently in foreground, Click 'Add to split view' .
Note: Don't bother to do any typing in the second window, your keyboard will overlap the window.
Solution: Use Minuum Keyboard , as it's pretty darn small.
5) When is a kitkat build coming?
A: When it's stable enough to boot on nozomi.
I uploaded the kitkat pre-alpha instead of jellybean alpha 0. It'll have its own thread when ready.
6) When is release n?
A: Read the xda rules, then decide whether you want to ask this out loud or not..
i haz one too
Thank you for you work. Will try soon and report ..

You added screenshots to one of your posts so it's kind of a moot point now, but I just wanted to point out that the DevDB options aren't supported by Tapatalk. Lots of people use that to quickly check XDA, so it's understandable if they can't find screenshots or a download link (but as I said, the way you implemented it now with the spoiler button is perfect).
Anyway I'm really curious about Omni, I'll probably use this instead of CM. Some of the Omni devs used to dev for my previous device (ZTE Skate, tilal6991 used to develop for that, and Konstat did the Blade) and it's nice to be able to use some of their work again .

Just flashed this, but this is pretty close to a stock Google experience. I thought this would have a bunch of customization options like AOKP normally does. Might just take some time. Just a heads up to anyone looking to get a lot of AOKP features.
So It doesn't have all AOKP features?

Soon.
We are starting over with a clean feature base. It will take some time, but it will be worth it I hope

Roman! Been missing your work since I got my One on release. Great to see the team back and at it!
Question.. in cm11 under display settings, you can set custom led notifications for specific apps. Will that be implemented into aokp at some point or its that just a cm11 setting? I thought I remembered it being in aokp in the past.

I installed this apk on CM 11
http://techbeasts.com/2013/11/14/be...beats-audio-drive-on-your-android-smartphone/
Verified that it actually works, beats logo will not show up but don't worry.
Sorry for the dumb question but this Rom is 180 mb? I think I'm too used to roms being 1 gb lol.

Sounds about right. Let me guess, you're generally a user of Sense based ROMs, which are a lot larger. AOSP based ROMs (like AOKP and CM) are a lot smaller. CM, for example, is roughly 190ish: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=m7vzw

I'm the head of AOSPAL and don't care if you add in different features. As long as it is labeled "unofficial", I don't mind.
Happy building
