That is a known bug which is fixed.
HERE is the fix, just download it and flash it via recovery.

I have a strange problem. I hope somebody here can help me, I dont have enough posts to ask in main thread.
I've installed the Sony UI and whenever I set a lockscreen ( no matter if pin or pattern) I need to unlock 2 times. I need to unlock the default one ( swipe) and after that the one I choose. I hope somebody knows this problem, or even a solution

Don't worry that is a known problem to me. I too had that during testing the ROM.
I guess it is caused due to selection of honami +Sony lockscreen or honami +Sony lockscreen any one of these.
Attached the Aroma log of the installation if you have saved it. Will help in resolving the issue. Any info about Aroma log is stated in the FAQs of this thread.
If you haven't saved the aroma log just tell me which framework and lockscreen are you using.

It's caused by the Honami framework; jjwrongjj configured it in that way. Nevertheless, it can be easily modified.
Post it in feature request (DevDB) so as to remember modifying for the next release.
PS: don't forget to press thanks if me and Dev.7 helped you

SGS3 themed Accuweather widget

Hi everyone,
----Attention to anyone on CM9 wanting to use this package-----
The zip seems to be causing some trouble with CM9 and some users have reported having boot loops after flashing (only on CM9)
If you are on CM9 and want to use the package please push the files across manually to where they need to be.
eg. /system/app and /system/etc read page 2 of this thread for detailed instructions.
**************Update 08/06/2012**************************
Another new update v1.2.1
fixed CWM package file...
added some permission xmls from touchwiz roms, and some libs etc. Hopefully will fix the problems some have been having again with the package.
Link updated below in downloads.
**********
Sorry to those of you who are on a CM based rom who weren't able to get the zip to work, I've updated the zip so it should work on CM, I am unable to test as I'm not on a CM rom so can someone please check it for me and let me know? Thanks.
Download link updated below.
ps. 100 downloads in less than a day!
***********************************************
I like many others have been working hard to port the SGS3's lovely widgets, but like everyone else, I haven't had any real luck ripping them, it seems samsung worked hard to make these ONLY available on the SGS3, but I guess it is just a matter of time until someone is able to port them.... hopefully
Until that time, I decided the next best thing would be to use the SGS2's ported accuweather widget and theme it with the nice images from the SGS3 widget
The background image is semi-transparent and changes depending on daytime/night time/cloudy weather
Have a look at screenshots
Daytime -
Night time -
Cloudy -
Installation
Copy zip file to phone
Then reboot into CWM and flash this file.
Clear dalvik cache
Reboot and enjoy
**If you already have either the digital clock widget or the sgs2 accuweather widgets installed, I would suggest to do a backup with titanium (just in case you want to revert to your old one) and then uninstall them**
Download
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?r90ug8t219kd5sk
If you are happy with the app please hit the thanks button
And if you are really really happy feel free to buy me a beer / donate
In the zip, there is also a digital clock widget, with the number images from the SGS3 ported over too

1st post! welcome to XDA.
Can you tell me which rom are you using, maybe you can try to manually put the files in /system/app and set permissions to 0 , 0 then r-w, r, r,
Did the install with CWM say it was sucessful or not?
xxx posts, still does not work..
Cyanogenmod 9, also setted permissions..
Try here dude,it's a GSIII's weather widget and it works on my GS

I forgot to mention after setting the permissions correctly (to 0 , 0 then r-w, r, r,) that you need to reboot and then it will work.

Yes it should work fine on JW4.
However as you are on a Touchwiz based rom you might be able to get the real sgs3 widget to work from Twics latest 1.5.1 update see here it is a big pack which adds on a lot of content to your phone and changes icons etc. if you dont want all that stuff I can edit his CWM package if you want so it just includes the widgets...
Here is the link, http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4dwy7yvy5ekhj7i
I edited out all the other stuff and you just have the new touchwiz launcher and the sgs3 widgets. Just put the file on your phone and flash with CWM, I can't guarantee it will work, but if you are on a samsung rom your chances are better than the rest of us I think, let me know how it goes.
New zip added to OP for those of you who are using CM roms, sorry the last zip seems to have only worked for some people, this one should work for everyone fingers crossed.

Yeah but... Touchwiz is... just touchwiz ^^'
It's atm not working for me too. I manually copied these two .apk Files to the /system/app Folder. After that i have wanted to change the permissions but i guess i failed that way...the permissions seem to be basically accurate... Help me guys please
I have just updated the file in the OP, version 1.2
now includes added touchwiz permission xml files and some lib files to system.
Hopefully with these added files it will work for everyone.
Let me know if it works

I use an app from the market called 'super manager' download that and go into the 4th tab to the file manager, once you are in the file manager choose 'back up level folder' up the top of the list, choose this until it takes you back to / (which is root) up the top you should see '/ (r/o)' then go to system, (when going into system it will ask you if you want to modify the file system, it will give you three options 1. do nothing 2. read only, and 3. r/w choose R/W. Now you are in the system folder of your phone, but be careful here because if you change something without knowing what you are doing you could have big problems.. ok now go into app folder and find your file, it will be near the bottom, it is called accuweather.com and under that it will say 'samsungwidget_weatherclock.apk'.
Once you have found the file choose the tick box next to it, now down the bottom of the screen you will see a list of icons; home, copy, cut, paste etc. now slide across to the right and you will see 'attribute' the icon has 777 on it.
Ok now where it says owner: set this number to 0
and where it says group: set this number to 0 as well.
under that you will have your permissions.
you can set owner to read, write, and execute
you can set group to read, write, and execute as well
and you can set other to read, write, and execute as well
it will also work if you just have owner as r-w-- group as r---- and other as r---- but try the above settings first to see if that works for you.
Now you just have to reboot and your widget should install properly
I will assume that you are on a rooted rom though?
And please try the new version 1.2 in the opening post too
Let me know if you have any troubles
1.2 doesnt work -> signature verification failed

[MOD]Jelly Bean windows animations(and more) SENSE/CM9..UPDATE 14.10.2012

INTRODUCTION:
It´s like this folks:Usualy when i get into new device forum,i like to give something to the community...i am a cooperative guy, aprecciate all the works others are doing...and i like relaxed atmosphere all around.
SO,without further delay and my rambling...i made few CWM flashable Zip files to make it easier for all of you.
These are modifications to your framework and after flashing your phone will have JELLY BEAN Windows animations...also many others like fly in windows,etc...every Zip is going to have a name that explains it.
HOWTO:
1.download the Zip of your choice and put it on root of your SD
2.Be smart and backup your current Rom(although i will be providing undo zips as well)
3.reboot in recovery>wipe cache and dalvik cache
4.install zip from SD>choose ZIp(one you want)
5.flash it,go back>reboot system and enjoy.
NOTE!!! SENSE AND CM9 Animations are separated clearly down below...READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING.
ALSO...DO NOT FLASH THIS ON ROM THAT HAVE APM(advanced power menu),IT WILL PROBABLY BREAK YOUR FRAMEWORK,AND LEAVING YOU IN BOOT SCREEN OR BOOTLOOP...ILL TRY MAKING NEW FILES FOR SUCH ROMS
Thanks to ckpv5 and 1ceb0x for pointing that out
I WOULD LOVE SOME FEEDBACK AND CLICKING THAT THANKS BUTTON IS WELCOMED IF YOU LIKE THIS MODS.
ENJOY!!!

Hi
The JellyBean animation is nice, but it will break any ROM with APM. So I guess it is more for a stock ROM or Custom ROM without APM.
Do you mind if I make use of your files for my ROM - myONEv RC3.0 and future release ?
Thanks
Thanks for this. I'll be flashing these on my phone with the JMZoneV3 Rom so I'll let you know if they work.
If you are making some zips using APM as well you will be our hero. Cheers!

OP UPDATED
now you can enjoy these mods on CM9 too...
dont forget to thank the devs that make these roms too:good:
for APM + animations you need to strip down the framework file (and maybe the jar policy also) and add your mod there. The APM files you can find them in here
i know it takes time to make these, but it will be really appreciated!
Had to restore from backup. Not sure why, but after I flashed the zip, my power button menu stopped pulling up. Instead of giving me the options to go to recovery, bootloader, etc, my phone would just do a quick reboot if I held down the button.
I don't know how flashing the window animations could be the cause of it, but I do know that it's the only thing I did. After I restored, the menu started working again.

That's because of APM integrated in your ROM. As mentioned earlier, this mod will break the APM, unless it is done to your ROM's framework-res.apk.

[APP][ICS][Ion] Xperia GX Home Launcher For All Xperias (Multi-Resolution)

Found this linked in a thread over in the SXS forum.
Xperia GX Home Launcher For All Xperias (Multi-Resolution)
It's a modded GX Home Launcher with customizable launcher settings. It's pretty sweet.
Many customizable settings accessed through the menu/settings hard key. Landscape and auto-rotation works.

¤ You must be rooted and deodexed.
¤ Do not try to flash the zip from the original thread, it's for the LT26 and will not work for the LT28.

Now that we have our lt28 flashable zip for this mod, I fear some may not be reading the original thread's instructions on installing this. So I'm reposting them here.

Or the easy way:
Flash the zip in cwm. You should still follow step 10 from the manual instructions. You may also want to try the prestep of. "Clearing predefined system settings xml´s folder for Home.apk:" if you're having issues.
Flashable zip: v4.2_ICS_MultiResolution_Xperia_GX_Home_ION.zip

Some more screen shots with the lt28 systemui mod from ganeshbiyer's deodex thread. The previous pics were with the lt30 systemui.
Home crashes with gx mod. Don't know what I'm missing. Would like to have this running. Any ideas?

Check your permissions?
How did you install?
Did you reboot?
What GX mod and was it working before?
I downloaded the flashable zip, extracted the 4 apk files to /system, changed permissions on these files, moved them to /system/apps, reboot.
I think mine may have crashed after installation and a reboot set it straight.
That's how I did it. Home just stops. Maybe another mod is conflicting. Guess I'll go stock, root, and deodex again and retry.

Maybe a fresh download of this mod too
More on functionality:
Auto rotate works great, so I get consistent landscape action now.
Folder image, indicator style, homescreen count, app drawer background, launch button style, and dock background customization options.
You can backup and restore settings.
Good stuff.
The CWM zip did not work for me. It aborted itself.
The zip is for the S. I extracted the files and installed manually.
Ganesh sent me a zip container for lt28, I'll make a new zip install soon.

Oh okay. Kinda throws me because it says it's for all Xperia ICS firmware. I was wondering if it had something to do with our CWM recovery. What's the differences for why it won't work for the LT28at? This phone gets ignored/overlooked way too much.

I assumed it said deodexed in the original thread. I 've added that to the op.
Also found this on the ot:
- Check for this path in your /system: /system/etc/customization/settings/com/sonyericsson/home
- If the /home folder is there, just delete it (only /home) !!!

New Xperia Themes Won't Install

Hi,
- Nothing appeared in the search above when creating the thread
- I seen a few comments about this in different threads, but nothing specific so thought it was worth it's own thread
The new Xperia themes won't install for me. As soon as I click Sony select, it shows me either one of two screens (with different themes) and none of them install. Either I click download then I get the error "app not installed" or on Google Play I see "incompatible device".
I do not have root on 4.3 as my bootloader is locked, so I cannot put the new apks in system/app. Besides, this should be working correctly without the user havint to go to extreme methods for a change of look.
Do many others have this problem? Any way to get around it?

If you scroll down a bit, you can see that the problem can be fixed by deleting /system/vendor/overlay/android-res.apk. (Backup on SD just in case)
Follow up by a reboot and you're done. Tested it myself.

Sorry, but this is not possible, it may cause conflicts in your Rom, and lose their native sms.
