Hi, I'm noob here. I would like to update my samsung galaxy s3 with 4.3 official firmware.
Below given present phone details.
Samsung galaxy s3

Android version 4.1.2
Baseband version I9300XXEMG4
Build number JZ054k.9300XXEMG4

This is the us variant... dual core snapdragon. If u installed one of these ROMs on the international version that would cause a problem... check the i9300 forums for your answer.

Yeah, as other poster stated you are in the wrong forum, if you need to go bac kt ostock you can find the stock i9300 ROM and flash in ODIN through download mode.
Please, can any tellme where to know or to get the last firmware for this Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M ? where can I check directly when an update its released? because I dont know if the last version for this phone its 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 ?

thanks for all your repplies.... just one more question, all roms created for SGH-I747 AT&T its compatible and I dont have any problem installing in my SGH-I747M ( canadian phone but unlocked and working in telcel Mexico ) ?

M at the end is just the model number for canadian variants. For instance, Rogers has the SGH-1747M model while AT&T has the SGH-1747 model. You can use AT&T roms on these devices though.

No it doesn't work and can't be ported easily enough to try because of different cpus.

That's what I thought. It escaped my mind that the international version uses the exynos quad core. Well, It's been widely rumored that the official 4.2 update will be pushed some time in June. Thx

Flashing international SGS3 ROMs / firmware will hard brick your device.
I think it would be a good idea if mods would delete this entire thread so we don't have people trying to download and flash it.

The question 'can you flash an i9300 rom on the ATT version?' is all that needs to be asked if there is really a question. Links should not be posted and are completely unnecessary.
The answer to that noob question is a quick NO and you don't have other noobs clicking unnecessary links and flashing incompatible roms.

all i can find is 4.1.1 and earlier.
Also is there a newer one after 4.1.2 thats not 4.3.i have read there are lots of probles with 4.3 is that true still??
