Question to the people that know a little more, will flashing a ROM or a kernel undo this?

I'm honestly not sure. I did mine on a rooted stock phone. Also, on the crashes issue, I have been doing some test and found out that the systemUI crashes when it reaches a certain signal type(frequency), I'm not exactly sure what type of signal it is, if it's gsm or wcdma, but when it catches it, the systemUI goes into a crashing loop where it won't come back unless you turn on airplane mode or pick up an acceptable signal, I'm not exactly sure what causes this, or how to fix it, maybe someone here in xda will find a fix for it.

EDIT BUILD.Prop
I did the edit and restarted, now my phone is not switching on. i can see the led blinking only. can anyone help ?

im not seeing any aosp action happening for the tmobile variant yet which is kinda disappointing but i do know a at&t version is being worked on and i tried it the other day, it's good and works for the most part. you just have to flash our radio after installing the rom. hopefully we will get some aosp/aokp roms soon enough.
Could you send me the link to that version?

EDITs (abridged).
Flashed MIUI (just for kicks), odin'd modem (since flashable wasn't working).
Booted fine.. looked great. Everything seemed to be working, including S-Pen, except for Sound and calls (lol). Outgoing calls might have been working, but got no audio. Permissions manager was freaking out too.. tons of related FCs. Anyway.. was nice to see it on the Note 2.
Reading thru the thread now.. and see the permissions and calls are a known issue.

[ROM] MIUI V5 + LTE Fix Guide

First let me say I am not a developer. I have been here a long time and what one would call a Flash-o-Holic/Themer. I always revert back to MIUI on every phone i've had. (Evo,S2,S3,Note,Note 2) and Now the S4 - Except noone had made MIUI for our phone. So, I dove in on the I9505 ROM and found a way to make it work... Flawlessly.
Follow the following steps:
Get ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2306650
Get Gapps: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miui...miuiandroid_gapps-4.2.2-small_signed-8012.zip
Thank Developer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=569047
Optional (if you have custom kernal locked in this helped me)
Get Kernel: http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/...IDremoved/MDL/SetUIDRestrictRemovedKernel.zip
Once you have everything place it all on your ext-sd
I used OUDhs recovery:
Wipe everything 2x
Format system, data, cache.
Install: Kernal
Reboot right back into OUDhs
Wipe everything 2x
Install ROM
Reboot
Once ROM is up and settled reboot into recovery
Wipe cache/davlik once
Install Gapps
Reboot
Go to setting, mobile networks, Network type selection and choose LTE - It will then kick on - Data, sms, and mms working see attachments
I would not expect the original dev to support us on this, but its a great build and works seamlessy with our phones - If
you have any questions or need help I'll do the best I can for you!!
System will show I9505 but M919 baseband
All ROM Credit goes to Bmarko82

Also MIUI is unlike any other ROM.. It almost might as well be classified as a different operating system.

So question, the link you are directing us to download from is in the original thread on 9505...9505 kernel works on our phone? Im confuse. Do we need to flash another kernel or something? How exactly did you make this compatible for Tmobile GS4 if we are downloading exactly the original rom? And also we are suppose to install the kernel first before installing the actual rom?
Sorry I'm a muiu virgin ^.^
P.S hows the camera?

Yes the 9505 miui kernal works on ours, I listed it as optional because ( I myself was on darthstalker, Infamous Kernal), and thru my trial and error I found by resetting the factory Kernal and rebooting recovery and writing over it with Miui rom it finally loaded..
P.s. The camera is sweet pinch to zoom etc..
Also: I never said I made it compatible, it already was.. sorta... I just figured out how to make it work on our phones without errors...
Just follow the steps exactly..
Formatting is essential.. If you get just the S4 logo.. Reboot recovery and try again you missed something..
If you get the Miui logo but no boot.. Reboot recovery and try again, you missed something...

I have been running this on my T-Mo s4 for a week now and it's been running very smooth. No random reboots, no fc's etc. Good battery life. The Play store may give you issues initially but clear data and cache of play store, reboot and you should be good.
yes MIUI is the iOS of Android, all we can hope is Hugo Barra can get MIUI to be open source
All in all a pretty good and smooth rom. you do not need any other kernel. stock kernel is pretty good.
How difficult would it be to switch back with no problems from twiz to this? I'm curious to check it out but pretty sure it wouldn't be my dd. Just remember losing me imei on my s3 and don't want to go through that nightmare again. Lol I had to buy a cheap pc to fix my phone

Anyway, OP.. you might consider uploading a flashable zip to change the build.prop to SGH-M919 jfltetmo, or even upload the ROM with it included.
Or they can change it manually, meh, lol.

This has worked wonderfully for me,
i find that it wont connect to data untill i go into the dialer and enter *#*#DATA#*#* once
so far no bugs that i can tell.......:fingers-crossed:
will report after i take it for a spin.
and do you mind if i post a link for this rom in the Sprint LG G2 Dev section? or maybe have the Mods move it to the right section?
ill se if i can put a request for this thread to be moved, this is great work.
i'm not a dev but i can post a tutorial on how to get it working of the Sprint G2 if you would like
Im eager to try this out by the way does it have rotation issues after trying cm10.2 i have rotation issues
Issues found
Okay been running this for about a week now and this is what I found so far:
-MMS doesn't work, I receive notifications for them but never download
-Wifi and bluetooth are buggy, toggles from the Quick Settings menu tend to get stuck after 2-3 toggles and require a reboot to fix
-Dialer doesn't pick up touches sometimes
-NFC gets stuck in on position and causes massive wakelocks. I ended up disabling NFCService and Tag Service to stop the issues
-Mobile Networks Section has GSM settings in it
-Flash seems disabled in AOSP Camera app
-Rotation issues like other AOSP roms
Besides that though the ROM is surprisingly usable for being one of the few roms available for the Sprint G2, I would definitely like to see your build code since it looks 90% in working condition.

usually the culprit of not wiping. its a given that you need to wipe every time you switch roms especially from stock to custom rom.

Testers Needed for E975,E973,E970

I need a couple people to test a Stock Rom to see if I can get it to work for GSM also. Currently the ROM is for Sprint. This is one of the ROM's I'm working on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51429659
I'm trying to make it similar to what xboxfanj has done for the gee and geeb ROM's. It may not be possible with Stock, but I'll give it a shot.
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone. You do this at your own risk.
Requirements:
Must know how to restore your EFS, just in case.
I like to use this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1758398&d=1361757332
Make a nandroid backup before doing this, to restore with.
It's probably best if you have your version of the Stock ROM for your phone. Then I'll have you DL a stripped version of the ROM. Updates/fixes will be small as most of the changes will be in the build prop.
_______________________________________________________________
If you're interested PM me. I'll try to watch this thread, but it's probably best to ask in this thead. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51429659
Sounds like a brilliant idea. The dev numbers for all LGOGs are steadily decreasing, having unified stock roms will only result on good things. If i have time I will PM you this weekend. Everyone should get on this pr it may not happen.

It'll run. sbelley is a lot of the reason for this. It ran on an E973. Calls worked but data didn't. So I need calls, data, and SD checked if you have it. The ROM you'll DL is as small as I could make it, so it's just part of Stocktimus. There shouldn't be any issues as far as losing EFS, but just in case, I want to make sure you have a backup. I'll send you a PM with instructions, in case you want to give it a shot. Thanks

Hmm. I've been using multirom to boot geeb, geespr and geehrc roms without issue, since all roms are separated except the sdcard. But i can understand your point of view.
Well, i guess the chance to try new thing is too alluring. Count me in. Do i need to flash different recovery?

Those are all CM/AOSP I'm sure, and Multiboot may very well work. My issue is working with LG Stock which is not as easy to go from CDMA to GSM. Yet. :fingers-crossed:
Give Multiboot a try. If it doesn't work then my preference is the KK version of TWRP from here. http://downloads.codefi.re/shelnutt2/freegee/LG-LS970/ Other KK compatible recoveries should work also.

My testing: definitely ROM doesn't apply to E975 from a network perspective. "Roaming" menu and "LTE settings" menus shouldn't exist, not applicable to GSM/WCDMA/LTE international. Calls / data unavailable.
Unless this is resolved, can't be used on E975. Keep good work. Cheers.

Ok. I'll let you do it. Because you know of crwolv's camera mod which is part of Stocktimus. If I can make it work. 13MP vs 8MP.

Just found a new ROM and I thought I would share the link.
I did not develop this rom at all. Just found it and figured other people might like to know about it. Please thank the developers (BySezer Simsek and Turkbey06)

It's based of the international ROM, so Wi-Fi calling will not be included
