You need to set the SE LINUX to permissive. It can be done in either x posed settings with Wanam or with the SE LINUX CHANGER app from the play store. Both require root.

Go into your phone and check the "About Device" > Status section. Se if anything is under the baseband and IMEI.
It may have gotten deleted when you went to 4.3. We can fix it if it has.

If you want you can get to 4.3 with working signal below. The first one will update you to 4.3 android and 4.3 bootloader w/ knox. The second will get you root back. (It will trip knox but that's no big deal) once you have root back download ROM manager and install CWM. Then I recommend flashing JediMasterX 2 as your rom. But that is more preference, their are a lot of good roms.

Not really the same thing. This is for people who just want to update their completely stock phones.
Well after trying several times I gave it another shot. On my rooted stock rom running ma7 I installed twrp over my stock recovery, then I tried the all in one zip. Worked the first time. Don't know why it failed all other times. Thanks to everyone. First time using twrp and I really like it. Wish I had tried it long time ago. So easy to use.

Can you post a screenshot of your baseband and build number? I did the same thing and I want to confirm with someone else if the flash worked correctly.
My baseband is MC2 but my build is still MA7. Is this correct?

Sure. Make sure you download the right one. No data if you want to keep your data intact. Also I read that the one clicks don't give you the modem but since you already have it you should be on MC2 everything after flashing a OC.

Is there anyway to do this without reinstalling a full rom? Anyway to get the old ma7 modem and just take ota update instead? It's a lot easier to do this and lose root cause it's really easy to get it back.

I got modem ma7 back. I would just like to take ota update and be done. I don't want to install another rom as my Google wallet still works and don't want to ruin it. Any suggestions? I have since unrooted using superuser and installed stock recovery. I tried using the .zip file from another post that supposedly is a zipped ota but it doesn't work.

Well if you're stock then go ahead and try the ota.zip posted here. If you have stock recovery it should take it. Also I don't see why doing a No Data OC will ruin your Google wallet. Doing a no data should be like accepting an ota.

No go. Back in stock recovery and even unrooted, it just won't take ota zip. It doesn't even ask for the pushed ota anymore. I guess I'll stick with this till next update.

Fix for 4.3 sleep signal lost

+I take no credit for any of this development, only reposting.
I have found a temporary fix for 4.3 tw roms that lose signal when sleeping. Keep in mind I have tested both methods (I have only tested a few tw 4.3 roms, but should work 4 all), you need to use the desktop tool to convert the rom.

you will want to use the tool labeled as "ResignUpdate-v3.0.1-Toggle2G-v0.3.5.zip" and use it to convert the ROM, it will export a fixed ROM, move the .zip to your device and then flash it. there are instructions in the link provided.
EDIT: the tool is a desktop application so you will need to extract its contents on to your computer

Question does this make the rom not able to go in to 2g mode ?? or does it actually let it switch between 2g/3g/lte without data dropping ???
Reminder: this is a temporary fix.
When phone is awake signal status functions normally.
When phone is sleeping your phone will switch in to 2g-only mode

[TOOL] Lock/Unlock Bootloader + Remove Tampered | Aroma GUI

This tool will allow you remove the Tampered flag from your bootloader. It will also allow you to easily Lock and Unlock your Bootloader directly from recovery.
No root required since it is run in recovery, however you still must be S-OFF.
Before using this tool you need to be sure you are using the latest version of recovery as the M7 U/UL/Verizon TWRP requires at least version 2.6.3.3 for this package to work. The current downloads for both CWM and TWRP can found below:
The latest M7 Verizon TWRP can be downloaded HERE.
The latest M7 Verizon CWM can be downloaded HERE.
Saying this again in case you missed it: YOU MUST BE S-OFF!
To use the tool simply copy the zip file to your phone and then boot to your custom recovery and choose install. Then browse to where you copied the file and select it. The aroma installer will begin. Follow the steps outlined in the pictures below and choose the options you want to run.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now you can just keep this file on your phone and Lock and Unlock at anytime without a PC and without losing data.
***Credits***
S-trace for originally discovering the location of the lock status flag. See this thread.
scotty1223 for his ADB shell commands. Threads HERE and HERE. Scotty was also very helpful to me in understanding some of the default values.
Just to be clear I did not just copy and paste scotty1223's commands into a aroma installer. The echo command can be problematic in aroma, so I developed original code for all four commands. The end result is the same in that the data in the partitions is changed as needed.

Demo and Troubleshooting

***Troubleshooting***
If the installer stays on this screen fore more than a few seconds, then it means you need to delete/format cache. This can be done within both recoveries. You may need to reboot recovery after clearing cache and begin the installer again. This seems to happen more on CWM than TWRP.
If the installer runs but your bootloader doesn't change, it is proably one of these things:
You are not S-Off
You do not have the latest version of recovery (I recommend TWRP)
I can vouch for this working with the latest TWRP 2.6.3.3.
Thanks for the hard work!

I read in the TWRP forum that 2.6.3.3 has a known bug with charging the phone, and some are recommending not to use it right now.
Have any of you guys that are running the latest version know about this bug, and if so has it been an issue enough to revert back to 2.6.3.0?

I flashed 2.6.3.3 Friday night and have not had noticeable changes in battery charging behavior, battery drain or performance issues in general. I seem to remember Tue charging bug brought up by andybones being something to do with charging the phone while powered off, causing the notification led to turn on and not reboot without going to bootloader. I don't turn my phone off so I haven't had the problem yet. Perhaps reading the other forum posts regarding that issue and posting in the original development forum on the TWRP thread would get you more answers.
Edit: I read the thread, and hashcode has recommended not to use that version of TWRP until the charging bug is fixed. I still haven't noticed it so I am not changing back.

It should work on the non touch version of CWM.
I have not noticed any issues with the new TWRP either regarding charging.
Hm this should be a good tool to get the Google drive promo on 4.3 sense roms :thumbup:

Any way you can add the code to remove the red text from the splash screen, or does this do that?

No, this tool is for the bootloader only.
You need to modify the hboot in order to remove that.
@santod040 already has one here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481277
While I could build an option to flash that modified hboot during the install, it is better to to that manually so you are aware of your hboot. If you S-on with a modified hboot you will end up with a bricked device.
Same reason I don't add an option to turn S-on (that was asked for) because I don't want users to brick phones because the mod is too easy and therefor overlooked when returning to stock for some reason.
I may add the option to install the GE hboot with the dark unbranded bootloader, which doesn't have any red text in the future. However that hboot has yet to be tested on Verizon.
Thanks
In what circumstances would one want/need to toggle the lock state of the bootloader?

Possibly to return to stock for warranty claims. This is just a nice graphical interface that doesn't need command line or a computer. Just another great option that our devs provide us!

So is a locked bootloader required to flash the stock recovery?

You need to have an unlocked bootloader in order to flash any recovery, stock or custom.
Also sometimes there are promotions like the latest Google drive 25GB one that requires a locked bootloader. Also some rom.zip and firmware packages require a locked bootloader on the GSM variants, but I am not sure if that is the case for Verizon.

[ROM] T-Mobile 4.4.2 Stock and Stock Debloated (Wi-Fi Calling) Updated 6/15/14

ROM is built from the hard work of dr87. I used THIS ROM - Updater Script - from dr87 as the base for both ROMs.
I have modified both ROMs to work on our Sprint LG G2.

Correct, WiFi calling is working.
So far the only thing I have found not working is NFC.

Are you using TWRP 2.7.0? Make sure you are using the TWRP that is installed by AuoRec.

I was on Justin's Rom also with at&t service. I downloaded this Rom, the svc radio and zvc firmware and just followed the steps in the op. Only problem was I didn't have root so it easier to start with twrp 2.7 instead of 2.6.3.3. I had to use a different root method after and updated to the 2.7. Twrp.
Pm if u need any help

I believe the Rom has to be modified first like the aboot and system image. I'm no developers but u definitely don't want to just flash a unmodified at&t Rom on your LS980

This Rom being a kitkat Rom has great features and is extremely smooth and snappy. Also it's not constantly trying to install a T-Mobile system update that will brick your phone. Awesome Rom perfect experience for the GSM user?

Welcome to SaberKat Android TouchWiz 4.4.2. This is a Semi-Stock ROM with a few speed tweaks and a slightly modified kernel to allow permmisive state. Includes several S5 apps and probably more to come but who knows what I'll do with this thing. The ROM includes Xposed, Wanam and SE Mode Switcher used to activate permissive kernel. Updates are planned including at some point possibly implementing my own custom kernel.
Download: SaberKat 1.5
Download: SaberKat 1.0
SuperSU download: SuperSU
If you are still on the old 4.1.2 bootloader then you will need to flash agni kernel for WiFi
AGNI Download: AGNI Purestock Thread
AGNI External SD write fix. Should work with any kernel. Download: AGNI KK SD fix
New ATT 4.4.2 Modem: I317UCUCNE5_Modem.zip
New Canadian 4.4.2 Modem: I317MVLUDNF1 Modem.zip
HOW TO INSTALL
Download the zip
WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
Wipe System
Wipe Cache/Dalvic Cache
Flash the Rom
Reboot
Set up APN, save and select. Go back and turn on Flight Mode. Now turn off flight mode. Network switch now available but should be LTE on default. If not change it. Reboot to recovery (4 Way Reboot now standard) and flash SuperSU. Reboot and enjoy
Enjoy
Thanks to these fine folks here for helping me: @eZdubzitmk4 for helping me acclimate to TouchWiz as almost all my experience has been with AOSP. @gregsarg for numerous tests and continued effort. Not to mention hours of mind numbing searching and countless valuable input. @Mr.Bola for the S5 apps
Notes:Unobtrusive calling only works when in app. Messaging quick reply go to message settings, notifications and enable pop up. That's all for now, have to check what all I've actually changed. ENJOY THE ROM
