X-Gear Fantom

I thought I'd share this with XDA. A tempered glass screen protector,it's a bit pricey but I've never used a better one.

Good review. Still waiting to get mine (plus the S2 one for my girlfriend's phone) in the mail... hopefuly intact!

Got my fantom today, it was by far the easiest application ever. Haven't noticed any issues with screen responsiveness at all. It shames all other protectors I've seen and used. Looks great with my SGP ultra hybrid case.
As for the light dots, you can only see them in bright light and they are not bothersome at all in my opinion. With my SGP ultra hybrid case it still is below the case bezel. The smoothness and glare are also nice in my opinion. Love the smooth polish, can use it as a mirror in bright light lol. Also less fingerprints on this than the SGP ultra oleophobic protector and vzw protector. Best investment ever since my ultra hybrid!

Mines came in today so going to install it later tonight? any tips or things to watch out for?

Just wipe out any dust and line up earpiece and camera, then work your way down to bottom keeping it straight. Don't be afraid to redo if you miss. It should be really easy.

Fake SGP Neo Hybrid Color Series Case for only $14.39

I came across these fake SGP Neo Hybrid cases on eBay and purchased one for only $14.39 free shipping, I should be getting one in couple of days and post some pictures and maybe do a review. I contacted one of the buyers who already received the case about the quality, he replied back with the following.
(I did not realize it was fake, until i saw on the side "designed by spigen california". I had never heard of Sigen before, so i didn't know what to expect. Overall i'm impressed by the quality, only the white part is on top en bottom a little lose.. The case is definitely worth the money).

I received the case today and as promised I took some pictures, first two pictures were taken outside so you can see the actual color of the case, let me know if you have any question.

Yeah, definitely fakes. Also messaged one of the sellers who was honest and stated it was not genuine. However, will be interesting to see what the quality is like. Cheers.

Should be delivered by Thursday, I will check it out and report on the volume rocker and power buttons.

I could get them for less than USD 5, the quality looks good, you probably can tell them aprt if next to each other.

Sorry but I don't think those are very similar at all. SPG is TPU with PC border....That case is silicone, PC back, and ugly.

Note, after reading up on these there is a Note on Amazon that they are WATER based install. I personally won't use that type.

Folks, I had one on the back of my Nexus 4 to protect the glass from scratching. I loved it. Not only protected it like Zagg, it doesn't feel like it at all. Totally worth it. And it was a water based application too.

i asked tech21 regarding the cases and SP. they said there are currently no plans to make these for nexus 5 at the moment. hmm.

just to let you guys know, bell store in yorkdale mall has the flip tech21 cases in stock for 34.99

I was for a little while. After a week or so of use, the buttons feel much more tactile and I can actually feel a slight click when pressing them.

A friend of mine got the case a few days ago an the clear back already has quite a bit of scratches on it which is why i decided against it. It is a nice lookin case tho

All cases with clear backs will get scratched. It all depends on how much you take care of it.

Incipio Dual Pro?

I'm really surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention anything about this fantastic case!!
I've had one, maybe two, of these cases previously for other phones. It was a few years back, and don't really remember how I liked them. But, they have been selling them for years now, and for most major phones, so I figure they were doing well. I had been through page after page looking for a case that caught my eye. I never could really find anything that suited me, and was about to settle on the official Google (non-flip) case. Somehow, I came upon the Incipio website and found the dual pro. Went ahead and took the plunge on the blue/dark grey version.. I COULD'NT BE HAPPIER!!
Seriously, this has to be one of the best three cases out for this phone; and, in my opinion, it is the best one out. I also have the .13mm Mime glass screen protector; it fits like a charm and has no peeling issues. The "lip" of the inner silicone part of the case actually goes over the edges of the screen protector. Almost as to "protect" it from chipping/peeling.
Does anyone else have this case? If so, what do you think about it? I might can find a camera to put some pictures up if anyone is interested.

This. Also the silicon got very lose after a while and dust and debris would get trapped between the case and phone easily.

I have this case in black. Its a nice case but the silicon part of the case is loose. When you take the phone out of your pocket, the silicon pulls away from the phone. The buttons are nice on it tho and the case isn't too bulky.
