SIM tray adapter - Broke off plastic edge - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi All
So I was replacing the SIM card on my LG OG E975, and in the tray, I used a Nano-SIM within a Micro-SIM template. This seemed to look fine and flush, but when I put this into my phone, it felt really tight. When trying to remove this, it became stuck, so I had to use tweezers to yank it out. Upon doing so, the plastic outer edge of the SIM tray has bent and came off completely
I was wondering if anyone here might know of some SIM tray replacement for our phones? At the moment, I have the SIM re-inserted, and put some tape over the slot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

which is the best dual sim adapter ?

Hi all!
which is the best dual SIM (sometimes called ghost sim, or twin sim) adapter for prophet?
I saw many auctions on ebay, but I don't know which one to buy.. :?
is this good?
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...50007856399&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
Of course I don't want to cut the SIM, but I don't know if there is enough room for bending the adaptor, or if it does fit well and it isn't too thick..
I also saw this one (I know that it requires to cut the sims):
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...50007376601&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
is this ok? or is it too thick?
If someone is successfully using such a device, could kindly answer to this thread? :?:
It would be great if I could see some images of the PDA and the adapter...
Thank you
i too wouldnt mind knowing this.?
anyone?
Yeah... me too
None of the duo sims adapters you pointed out are good.
You need to find an ANALOG duo sim.
The digital version drains the battery.
http://www.vavolo.com/productdetails.asp,ProductID,2397,,.htm
You will need to cut your cards - no way around it.
You can also find these at Ebay.

Dual Card Simore
Hi all,
I found and buy the Black type I from Simore.
I've made a test there : http://bbtiloute.free.fr/BQTel/Simore.htm
I said, at the end, I made it for Mobiles-Live.com, friends of me, but don't worry : 'I' am Ti-Loute, and it's a free access ;-)
But ... It's wrote in french ...
But ... Thank's Google : http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=fr|en&u=http://bbtiloute.free.fr/BQTel/Simore.htm
Brando - Powerful Dual Card (10th era)
I'm using this one for more then a year and never have any problem and it's only $27.00US...
http://mobile.brando.com.hk/PowerfulDualCard10.php
No need to cut card
No need to switch power to set card
Love It!
Not for Prophet ?!?
Yes, it should be better if we didn't have to cut card.
But it seems not to be compatible with Prophet (the original question ;-)) Does it ?
hi ti-loute.
Do you know if the silmore dual sim works with a 3G/EDGE sim (can you connect to the Orange wap for exemple with your sim in the adapter ?)
Hi Tonio,
My SIM card is working on EDGE'.
When I was using the Wap, I did it through GPRS, but Orange has 'loosen' my GPRS connection when I've taken my S200 under 'fidelity' program.
So, I can't promise that Wap is compatible with that card ... But technically, I don't know why it wouldn't be right ...
It must be magicsim dual sim. I'm using their new 26th 3g dual sim, very nice

Dual Sim On Artemis

Hi,
I just got myself a T-mobile Artemis (dutch version).
Pretty content with it, but still figuring out how to use that internal GPS receiver. Tomtom 6 starts up but the searching for sattelite takes rather a long time and I give up in the end. (yes, QuickGPS was succesfully used)
But the GPS troubles are not my main concerns.
I live near the border between belgium and Holland and have two phones. I am going to be unlocking my Artemis using the currently only available method.
Once unlocked I'd like to be bale to put both my sim cards into my Artemis.
The only solution I could find was
http://www.hot-wire-telekom.de/index.php?aktion=detail&suche=HTC P3300&&asuche=HW130010
and
http://www.hot-wire-telekom.de/index.php?aktion=detail&suche=HTC P3300&&asuche=HW130724
Has anyone tried this before and does it work. Any other solutions out there I should know about. And which option to go for, the digital or analog (I roughly know the difference just not how they relate to my sim cards).
I thank you all now for the help you'll give me.
Found one that works no cutting up your sim needed
Hi all,
I've got a private and company sim and have used my Magician with a Brando 10th era dual sim adapter.
Tried it with my htc p3300 and it works flawlessly. No need to cut your sims.
Only thing I have to figure out how to fit the battery cover.
For my Magician I removed a bit from the battery.
Might be possible but first will have to get me an experimenatal battery
http://mobile.brando.com.hk/PowerfulDualCard10.php
here ya go!
I am told that GSRM (data) does not work but calls do.
Have you had any luck with data?
Robin
Actually I am guessing I meant GPRS?
Robin

Well - what's that amazing phone model that runs on two networks? As far as I know there was only one model out there that could do such thing but even with some limits. Any dual-sim adapters won't do that.
well there is actually about 7 models out there that do this m8

[Q] Repairing Sim Tray holder on i747

So...my sim tray holder on my s3 broke. Unfortunately all the replacements on ebay and other places say the holders are only for i9300.
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy the i747 version of the sim holder (OTHER THAN GLOBAL DIRECT PARTS).
If not, is it possible to buy the i9300 version sim holder and install it in the i747??
Thanks!
A friend of mine bought an international s3 (i9300) and he went with rogers (att brother in Canada) his phone use the same microsim card as my i747m that I got from rogers. I cannot assure you it will fit but if it is not too expensive I would give it a try. Does the part include the connectors or is it just the metal holster around?

I have i747 from AT&T and bought sim holder for i9300 and it does not fit on my phone. the dimension between the two are slightly different and I cannot sit the holder properly.

Int'l vs N/A Sim Tray

Is the sim tray the same as the north american version? I lost my sim try, and I just got a couple from the american verison of the phone and they don't seem to fit right. Am I doing something wrong, or is the interational sim tray different.
Just asked a Hong Kong ebay seller if the sim tray's he was selling were for the Euro/International HTC One X or for the North American HTC One X. Not a stellar response:
Dear Friend,
We think they can use the same at this part, please be assure to
buy it.Hope this can help you.
Thank you for your attention.
Wow, talk about uninformative.

Does anyone know the answer to this?
Could someone post some close ups of the international version's sim tray, and I'll try and spot the differences. The sim tray I bought off ebay sticks out quite a bit compared to my original (which I lost).
~S
Here you go, i attached the front and the back.
As a sidenote: it was impossible for the One X to focus on it's own sim tray, i had to grab my old SE C905
Are you in the UK ? Send me a self addressed evolope with a stamp, I've got one you can have
