[REQUEST] Features I'd like to see in SlimKat - SlimRoms Feature Development

Although the rom is still in beta and new features will be added soon, here are some things that would make it perfect(I hope the Devs see this):
1. Screen record and screenshot options in quick settings or power menu.
2. Download speed in status bar.
3. Cyanogen Mod 10 style GPS quick settings tile that doesn't ask for location consent every time (saw this in gravitybox)
4. Camera tile in quick settings.
5. Clear all button in recent apps.
This feature list is not too farfetched and I hope that the Devs read this thread and bring these features to the ROM.

+1 to clear all recent apps button, really miss this one
Nexus 7 LTE
SlimKat KOT49H
Bricked Kernel

I would love for the slim team to bring back widget view pager..haven't seen this feature included on any KitKat roms...Also would love a quick tile for quiet hours and an option to show the cpu temp in status bar

Official statement: Two of the most requested features are the "clear all" in recents apps and the DPI changer in settings. This is our comment about these requests:
- We won't implement the clear all button because killing all apps is generally unnecessary and might even be bad for the overall performance. You can read more about it here: http://slimroms.net/index.php/faq/slimbean/238-why-do-i-have-less-memory-free-on-my-device
- We are working on the DPI changer and will include that in the rom in the foreseeable future.
Thanks

Can you talk a bit about the new theme engine capabilities?

Is this Rom suits xperia tipo

Quiet Hours
1. Quiet hours: option to bypass android starred contacts aka favorite contacts. Now only disable, all numbers and contacts.
.2 On/off setting to QH (bypass time setup, like "allways on").
3. icon notification bar when QH is on (show / do not show the settings)
notification led settings: Disabled when charge.
Thanks!

suspend action (option to select data, gps, wifi, 2G - OFF when screen goes into off)
for example:

I would like to say thanks.

You guys are doing an awesome job. However, I think most of Slim fans do wish for the "clear all" button. So please bring it back in the first official release.

I don't think you read the post. Clearing apps like some sort of ocd iphone user doesn't help anything and it hinders proper operation of the OS. SO why should they add it?

Blurred lockscreen would be awesome!

Just tried SlimKat RC1, and it runs really smooth. 1 question though:
Will all features from SlimBean eventually get ported over? Like Battery Bar, Dual Pane Settings, Advanced reboot etc?
Thanks

Clear All button
Yes, I've also grown accustomed to the Clear All button, and miss it in SlimKat.
However, I acknowledge this is yet another remnant of an ancient time when Android had rather crappy memory management, so closing apps manually was a must.
Ever since 4.0, memory management has improved a lot, making the habit of closing apps manually unnecessary.
Closing apps manually also wastes more battery.
EDIT: To see Android doing its thing, pay attention when you play memory-hungry games (I play RR3). Sometimes during the race, when you hit Home and open another app, you can jump back into the game right where you were. Sometimes the game is restarted from the blue EA screen.

awesome work!!!!!!
i'd love to see a GPS quick settings tile that doesn't ask for location consent every time, that's very frustrating!!!

will it less battery consuming ?
i am using HOX asia version
the battery is draining very fast
so i want a ROM which will be less consuming battery
so will it be?

Any chance of seeing Lockscreen Notifications from AOSPAL?

I'd like recents ram bar, dpi changer, I know it's coming and net speed meter like on my screen shot

I will be updating this as often as possible.
This thread is designed ONLY for the support of the T-999(V) Liquid Smooth rom.
For latest AOSP builds to flash you need to be on latest bootloader of d2tmo: T999UVDLJA, T999UVDLJC, T999UVDMD5 & T999VVLDLL1 for it to boot. In order to have the latest boot loader you need to update via ODIN or Over The Air. Here is CyanogenMOD stating so. YOU CAN CHECK WHICH BOOTLOADER YOURE ON BY DOWNLOADING TERMINAL EMULATOR FROM THE PLAY STORE AND ENTERING THESE THINGS:
su(ENTER)
getprop ro.bootloader(enter) edited from phone so excuse the errors and code usage
THIS THREAD IS NOT CREATED by The Liquid Team.
This thread is designed to help keep the dev thread clean and clear for the dev's to do their magic. So please, feel free to ask any questions about the ROM, but trolling and flaming will not give great results and will be reported. If you ignore to read this OP & 2nd post and ask questions that have been answered I most likely will ignore you, or be rude haha. Keep up to date with the ROM/recovery, meaning install the latest version of the ROM/and your recovery before reporting anything.
-The main Dev thread is located here
-GAPPS can be found here
-THE ROM downloads can be found here
- Here are Screenshots
Here is for T999 LTE provided by Luigi
-Changelog can be found There was no .6 for what ever reason.

Post your findings/fixes with your install procedure (what did you wipe, or no wipe at all), along with your Recovery version, your kernel and any mods you may have installed (most likely will be the issue at hand).
I'm not responsible nor are the Devs, for what to you do to your phones... go cry somewhere else.
If you want sympathy go look it up in the dictionary, it's between s**t and syphillis.
ACTUAL Q&A
Remember these guys take a lot of time out of their lives to do all this for free. They build the rom the way they want it, and they use it too. Be respectful, if you don't like the way it is or what they chose, then move on and use what you prefer.
Here is the Q&A part.
I am having troubles installing the Liquid Illusion rom: INSTALL PROCESS
Boot into recovery: From Power off
-Volume UP & Home button & Power Button at the same time! Hold until little vibrate and Blue text in top left corner, now you can release.
-wipe data\factory reset, cache, system.
-Install ROM
-Install GAPPS (Google APPS) Latest 13, Mar 01
-Boot & let sit for 5 minutes (lets cache and scripts run)
-Sign in to Google and if Restoring I feel it's best to let it sit and install all those apps before messing with the phone.
-Enjoy, or how some say it "PROFIT"
If dirty flashing from this rom and OP does not require a Dirty Flash
The recommended upgrade procedure should be:
-Backup/Nandroid - Optional
-Format /System - Should be automatically done
-Wipe cache
-Wipe Dalvik cache
-Install ROM
-Install GAPPS
-Reboot System
List of features
If they aren't new then... cool story lol. I'm gonna be so mad if the base changes again MIKE!!!!!!
Here is stuff for xposed settings and dpi and what not. I dont use any of this at all, but most like and love to tinker so I will leave it here for you guys.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Nightlys will have their own issues probably, and always. Now most common one is flickering, try a custom kernel that is built after 4-19.
In interface.
Notification img in landscape can be changed
Transparency can be adjusted to your liking
Notification shortcuts can be added from 4-16 of them
Recent Rambar is customizable
Vibration Multiplier is now here, able to lower/raise haptic feedback of capacitive buttons natively.
Lockscreen
Buttons this will allow while on the lock screen to hold one of the capacitive/physical buttons to complete an action ie: torch, or skip track.
a bunch of widget options for the lockscreen
change the transperency of the lock screen
Lock screen shortcuts
Have the option to have up to 8 targets in lockscreen slider
instead of just tapping on the lockscreen shorcuts you can set it to long press to open those.
PowerWidget is like the toggle mod in TouchWiz or older builds of AOSP
Quicksettings/4.2 Tiles
You can disable it altogether
Quick pulldown is the option to pull from left or right corners to immediately jump into quicksettngs
Tiles and Layout hold all the options availale
SatusBar
Brightness control (must have auto brightness unchecked) allows you to slide your finger left to right accross the status bar to adjust brightness extremely handy with this display vs sun light lol
Notification count, it shows a little blue number next to a notification if you have multiple ones.
Then you have your clock options (right and center) Battery icons, clock and date looks and such.
then color of the satus bar is changeable as well, all colors available (pretty much). You can change the transparency for launcher, launcher & Lockscreen, or all in all everywhere.
Display
CRT Screen options for on and off, off looks realy nice like a slight subtle dim.
Notification Light options are in here if you are new to CM LED.
Accessibility
I add this cause it is overlooked a lot.
magnification gestures (Takes three taps).
Large text optoin for those Gramps & Grams.
Power Button to end a call.
Home button answers a call.
Developer Options
Change transmissions/animations to .5 for warp speed.
kill app via back button.
NOW FOR SYSTEM APPS
Messaging
Group messaging is available (yes like the iPhone).
Privacy mode (obvious what that does).
Shop popup for incoming texts and quick reply is available.
One of those sought out features of making a call by putting phone to face while in the text thread of the party you wish to call, is available via Direct Call.
Messaging font size.
Currently Known bugs, work arounds, and suggestions/tips.
-A2DP (streaming music and phone calls) its fixed with 4.2.2 except for a couple of unhappy users.
-Video calls (Skype, Google Hangouts, Tango) Mixed reviews, sorry. I had low audio, some report that all is great though.
-Camera works all in all but NO PHOTOSPHERE. While taking an image with flash the image will show without flash, but it saves normally.
-Picasa sync does not work
Install this to have it work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=larry.zou.colorfullife&hl=en
-Getting an error reading "cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist", you need to go to System settings>Interface>DPI Installer>Install. It will stop the popup.

-CMFileExplorer http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1451113&d=1351866036
(with this app, go to settings>general settings>access mode>select root access mode> go back to main page get root by pressing "parent folder" over and over til you can't no more.)
-Battery!!!!!!
It will improve as the days go by, or get worse depending on what you do, NO one can tell how good battery is until at least 2 charges, so don't ask "how is battery" 6 hours after it is uploaded. Battery varies for every person, I don't play many games on my phone, Bike Race is the only one. I get 4 hours on screen time, and 12 hours of use. With MY light usage I get 1 day 16 hours with 2.5-3 hours screen on time. Everyone will have different results with their phones setup differently.
-Screen shot is done by Volume down and Power! Or by "power menu" settings>rom control>power menu>Select "Show ScreenShot" hold power button to view.
-"I don't see a 4g/H symbol" You may need to flash the latest radio from here to see it, you are getting your normal speeds regardless though. Here is the link to flashable modem List - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860592
-Working Hex colors for notification light http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890774
white, green, neon lime, blue, Samsung blue, Light blue/Cyan, red, yellow, orange, pink, pinksih, red-pink, purple. Look in the link for the Color code.
-THIS IS a Liquid rom with mods and CherryPicks from CM/AOKP and such!! SOME CM THINGS WILL NOT BE IN HERE, OTHERS WILL, it is the Devs' rom they will do to it as they please, but they do take requests just make sure it hasn't been asked for already, respect.
For the FUN and Customization stuff, some new some old.
all in settings

4.2 AOSP Modded Camera http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611
it has some features like color selection (greens only, or red only) Wide angle shots...

Not really question but a list of some apps that are not playing nice with aokp build.
1.)Starbucks official card as well as "my Starbucks card" bar code shows is in landscape mode while in portrait no way to switch it around so useless to scan your orders
*solution: use your plastic card, use another smart device like tab, another phone or device like iPod touch etc.
2.)Pandora radio sometimes gets stuck on the station so you can not change station. Also you can not add a new station
*solution either wait or close out Pandora then reopen the app and you should be able to change station
*to change station do so on another device like PC, phone tablet etc.
Have no idea if this is specific to this ROM aokp(Pandora had same issue with cm10 base) or if this is just typical of 4.2.1 itself

Re: [Q&A] Illusion ROM
Got a folder question. It's super annoying. Here's the scenario. Downloaded some music in a zip file. Extract it and in my music apps it has each song listed 2x. Looks like one is in my 0/ folder and the other in my legacy/ folder. If I delete either one. It deletes both. How do I avoid the linking of the 2 folders?

I think the external speaker is still something in the works within coding. I use headphones daily and they still same the same to me doesn't matter what ROM I use. I always remove any "sound mods" in any ROM I try.
As for the folder issue, I haven't a clue. Remove all of them and save them to your computer and transfer them over and place on external. That's what I do and have no issues at all.

Hide soft keys like Huawei Ascend Mate

I have cm10 with expanded desktop but I'm wondering if anyone has done a mod where a gesture will toggle the visibility of the soft keys. It's exactly what I, along with a ton of other people, are looking for. Hell, I'll pay someone to do it for us!!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
What I think would be nice is if we could just get rid of the navbar and replace it with a gesture from the bottom edge to reveal the ring in my screenshot, except the nav controls will be on that ring
AFAIK GMD gesture control supports this. Not quite sure. Just try the lite version first.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Few options are out there already.
GMD - You can set various swipes such as 45* up/left for back, up for home, etc, activated at the bottom.
App that I forget the name of but enables pie control in any app. You can set multiple layers as well as an inner and outer pie ring, but this can get a bit clustered. Realistically you can probably set all of your most used apps into the pie on various layers though and get rid of every shortcut.
Latest PA has a more feature rich but less customized pie. Battery bar, time, notifications, access notification panel, per-app color of pie, and more. However, unlike the app above you cannot add additional items into the pie, at least not yet.

LMT with PIE Control is IMHO the Name of the app. In the last version it includes also the swipe from the bottom like in Para...Rom (don't know the name of the rom right now). But it's not the same. A simple swipe from the bottom and it should show the orig. softkeys. That would be soooooo cool! I would never ever switch back and set the expanded desktop active
I have GMD installed and I was not able to hide only the soft keys.
The only option I found hides the soft keys AND the notification bar on the top of the phone, so valuable info like battery, signal strength etc are also hidden.
Any ideas to hide only the soft keys?

Not totally gesture but u must take a look at paranoid android PIE control. It's still in beta but it has a lot of potential.
I think u would like it.... Here are some examples...

Exactly what I was looking for
But how stable is paranoid android compared to CM10
My main issue is I haven't found a good way of hiding the softkeys. GMD closes the whole SystemUI so lose the top bar and app switcher, and the Fullscreen Toggle that a lot of people use removes the in-app menu button which is not ideal as I don't really want to have a gesture just to access the basic menu.
Is there a good way of doing this that I've missed?

I'm running it from day 1 (got my N4 since half December) and it's perfectly stable. I always wait a little while before updating and follow the tread to be sure there are no great bugs. If everything's ok then I'll update to a newer version. The PIE option is really Beta so there will be some bugs.
I think u just must try it, paranoid android is really a original and renewing ROM. Not just because the pie, but also the hybrid, per app color and dpi option.
It's just as stable, if not more stable then cm10.1 The rom is based on AOSP so should be as stable as the original one.

That's because it's trigged by the expanded desktop.....
Remember it's a beta. Development is going very fast and I'm sure they will find a great solution for that.

I have GMD installed and I was not able to hide only the soft keys.
The only option I found hides the soft keys AND the notification bar on the top of the phone, so valuable info like battery, signal strength etc are also hidden.
Any ideas to hide only the soft keys?

Simple to do. Best way I've found. Works on any ROM just reboot after running app

Paranoid Android ROM has a new mod called "pie". Its exactly what you're looking for. You can use an app called Smart statusbar and it works beautifully with PIE.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. I downloaded GMD pro and so far it's pretty cool. That PIE mod looks amazing. Any way someone can rip it and make it work with any ROM? If not, I might have to bite the bullet and just flash the ROM.

another option might be the Hide Bottom Bar app from the play store.

i REALLY like this, i think it just needs a few little tweaks and it will potentially forever be my first loaded app after a flash
I find the trigger point for swiping sometimes covering buttons a bit ang gets activated without fully intending. What about maybe making it activate on a triple click, or maybe a double click, with the slide on the second click? Dont know how well they would work, but just some thoughts i had to try to solve that issue.
Ahhh whilst just reloading it i noticed the home double click option, i'll give that a whirl
The other thing is that i woiuld like to be able to make the scrolling bars maybe be a little less themed. I've been checking out some similar programs and i just find the scrolling to not quite be as good on this. I'm thinking if the bars were simplified a bit, it could perhaps help that? or maybe it might be drawing them as an overlay, rather than actually using a full side of the screen for example. I do a lot of coding, but havent done any on android, so i've got some ideas, but just not sure if they would necessarily make much of a difference or not.
I'm just about to reload it now, but i'm just trying to remember if there is any sort of option to add shortcuts/actions etc to tabs, rather than just apps, something else to consider perhaps.
there are people complaining in the play store about it being a home launcher, i dont quite get what they mean, (yes it has the default action for launcher applied), but the way it uses it's backup launcher it really does seem to work "in addition" to the backup launcher. I'm thinking they are talking about screen redraws, but i couldnt get any to happen (maybe needs to be running a while longer)
Anyway overall i LOVE your work, but (and obviously it's the message from the play store comments) i'd love to see it be cut back more if possible, to try to avoid any noticeable impact to the system, and for the people on play (who arent really clarifying what they want i dont think) maybe trying to tweak it's interaction with the fallback launcher (i'm not sure exactly what their issue is as i said, i'm taking a bit of a stab)
:good:
reinstalled it just then and disabled the trigger, and set activation to double click home :good::highfive:
disabled themes as much as i could, i'll give it a spin like this and see how it goes.

Changelog:
7-16-13
It's kinda important I just noticed and fixed an issue with the other kernels, I still can't guarantee there performance but I've done all I can.
Can't say for sure, because I never had an issue but might have fixed issue with the AOSP gallery/camera app and flashplayer being copied to the sdcard/S3Rx_apps.
7-15-13
1. Fixed the default ROM install in test version.
2. Fixed a few grammar errors in AROMA.
3. Installer clean up and improvements..
4. Fixed conflicts I was having with Faux and KT, They are enabled now in AROMA
5. Included some good free kernel/system tuner choices. Kernel Tuner. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719934 Free version of Voltage control and the AOKP performance control app.
6. Included cobalt blue theme.
7. Fixed a few other theme issues.
8. Added the new Google Maps
9. Replaced some wallpapers in the default wallpaper app with some prettier ones.
6-30-13
1. Updated AROMA with some more options and layout, backup/restore EFS, a working File manager, Fix permissions, Reboot and Exit options.
2. Cleaned up install script.
3. Added 8 all new Inverted AOSP MMS.apk's
4. Updated some apps, Gmail 4.5.2 and Inverted Gmail 4.5.2, Playstore.... GMS_core
5. Fixed inverted blue YouTube install
6. Added lidroid's multi-window smoothness patch
7. Increased joinable contacts to 99.
8. Flashplayer install work around. Have to install manually. App will be saved in "sdcard/S3Rx_apps" Then install like a normal apk
9. New S4 / HTC One 4.2.2 AOSP camera/gallery. Have to install manually. App will be saved in "sdcard/S3Rx_apps" Then install like a normal apk
10. Fixed a few things in AOSP theme also rethemed the TW messaging bubbles.
11. Minor annoyance with lidroid-res with text, reboot and shutdown popup said "WanamLite ROM", edited to generic "Reboot options".
6-18-13
Simple maintenance update to mostly eliminate the install bugs, as there really aren't any ROM bugs.
I just want to keep the download fresh for new users.
1. Fixed issues with Aroma and Install script.
2. Fixed little issue with the build prop version... lol
3. Fixed theme issue in Dark Green clock package.
6-16-13
1. Added Call Recording
2. Added 4x5 and 5x5 TW launchers
3. Updated Aroma and Install script
6-14-13
1. Eliminated more of the wifi calling popups and stuff. Including eliminating a couple of apps and modifying the IPservice.apk. This should fix some issues with unexpected wakelocks form IPservice.
2. Changed the AOSP and Blue theme Clear Notification and Settings button to blue, but Changed the Clock header to white. A separate add-on is available to change the clock back to blue. I just found it to be Ugly and the contrast just wasn't there... too much blue.
3. Fixed a small, error in the install script when theming the note 2 keyboard.
4. Added 5 more battery icons to the OTF battery mod. Just because
Important:
-First boot will seem like a long time
-Please do not post complaints about battery life!

FAQ/Issues
KNOWN ISSUES:
Aroma might hang during installation. Hold power button until it reboots. It will reboot right back into recovery so don't worry.
Aroma's color might be off sometimes.
The Play/Pause function of "Music controls" does not currently work once the phone goes into deep sleep. Which is about 3 seconds. Need someone skilled with kernel development to give us a hand on this one.
AOSP Mms has a bug that when selecting your own contact in a message thread, it will force close the contacts app
A WiFi calling popup will show when setting up your WiFi for the first time.
Battery Notifications might be a little screwey the first charge. Might have to toggle the setting once you actually have a full charge and the notification, then unplug. If turned off the Notifications should be gone from now on.
Be careful using the volume up key when taking pictures with Best photo. It might cause issues. The on screen button works fine, and the volume key works fine in all other modes.
Tell us if you notice anything else.

GPS:
GPS not locking: Unfortunately This is going to happen to some when coming from AOSP based ROMs and other carrier ports.
A couple common fixes include...
=====================================================================================================================================================================
1. Easiest and most reliable way. Try this first!
Enter the Samsung service mode by typing this code into the dial pad *#197328640#
Then go to Mainmenu>UMTS>Common>NV REBUILD>NV REBUILD> (Important: don't exit the menu yet!)
Wait 30+ sec
Long press power button and select "Restart / Reboot"
Now check your GPS from any software that may use GPS like "Maps" or "GPS Status"...
All credit to harshaedvern for this easy fix
=====================================================================================================================================================================
2. Returning to the stock ROM via ODIN, acquire a GPS lock then reboot into Recovery.. Wipe and Flash new ROM.I recommend trying Chainfire's MOBILE ODIN first before the desktop version, it's really easy to use and it's free to XDA users HERE.
You can flash an ODIN package right from your phone and still retain your custom recovery, simply exclude it from the list of partitions to flash.
It will also inject ROOT if the ODIN package does not already have it... makes things really simple.=====================================================================================================================================================================
3. Restoring a nandroid of a TouchWiz ROM with a known working GPS status, make sure all location services are enables and can obtain a GPS lock. (go to additional steps now if needed) Reboot, Wipe and Flash New ROM...Additional steps if required before flashing new ROM:
Backup your internal storage and take out your sd-card now... just in case stuff gets deleted. Do a Factory Reset form within the restored TW nandroid. Reboot... Skip all the setup stuff... acquire a GPS lock again... Reboot into recovery Wipe and Flash the new ROM.=====================================================================================================================================================================
4. Flash back to the AOSP ROM you were just on. Obtain a GPS lock, then reinstall ROM again and see if GPS works
=====================================================================================================================================================================
5. Repeat until one of the options ends up working... Not much else to tell you to try. Good luck!
=====================================================================================================================================================================
GPS and Location Services: If you have Google Maps installed and Google Now, you will notice Maps uses your location services a lot during the day. Apparently Google thinks we need our location tracked 24/7. Turning GPS on only when needed will help eliminate the wakelocks created by maps. Going a step further you may also want to disable the "Use Network Location", This will also stop other apps form getting your location... Most apps will let you enter your location manually so it's not really a big deal turning it off, especially when your talking about increasing your battery life.
Thanks guys! Can't wait to try this rom!!!!

Just (clean) flashed this on my Canadian i747 -- so far, so good!
Loving the customization options (fonts especially)...
Been on stock VLDLK4 since I've had my device...
Overall, this ROM is very nicely done -- and is definitely a keeper.
oh man, this is awesome:
** "Please do not post any comments about battery life" --> yes, rule #1: there are no comments about battery life. use the ROM, let your device DIE (1% battery ^_^), charge it, let it die (again) and ....again....then you can get a true idea of battery life.

I know, I see you all over these forums. I think you must have flashed everything by now. lol So I'm interested in what you think. Now we keep it minimalistic. It has lots of options but doesn't necessarily feel like a custom ROM if you know what I mean.

You have done it again. The only thing that can top stock AOSP ROMs is this one. Thank you so much, once again.

Yeah, I personally owe him a lot as his builds from philz touch has been on my phone for a long time without seeing any rival close to.
Out of all of the new ROMs that has been popping up on the forums recently, this is, so far, my most favorite, and most stable one so far. This ROM is FAST, and I know that's subjectively speaking, but I feel as though this ROM is blazing. And so far, it feels amazing with stability as well; have yet to run into any hiccups or lag yet. Gonna run this for a while and see how it ages! Thanks again, @JustinXu. You are based God.

Can't quote you for some reason new buss, but that's because this is based off mako sources. (Nexus 4. Only had 8 MP camera)
Download Google Camera from play store and that should fix it.

Can someone tell me if this is with Stock Camera? If not, is it possible to do it with patches/kernel?

If you're referring to stock LG 4.1.2 ROM, not as good because custom AOSP ROMs just don't compare to stock ROMs. But its not bad at all to say the least. Just give it a shot and see how it runs for you.
The sad thing is that i own a nexus 4 and my GF a OG. kills me see my gf still in V10d. Its sad, and also insecure.
So I'm researching very well before installing an aosp rom her, because I that she doesn't share the flash addiction that i have.
I know all these roms from my nexus 4, I just want know if any is bug free on the OG
Some things stills confuses me.
Could you please tell me if about this bug the camera focus, and if there's any way to avoid it ?

If you want a truly stable experience, I'd say go for a custom 4.1.2 ROM, MAYBE even 4.4.2. AOSP is stable usually, but it does have its quirks from time to time. Since your GF isn't a power user, it might be the best idea to put her on a stock LG ROM for the least amount of bugs.
