Why P6 is not listed on HUAWEI's unlock bootloader's page ? - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

If you click on this link UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER you should enter a page on HUAWEI's official website where you can enter your email and some info and they will send you the code to unlock the bootloader, but when you click on Product Model, the P6 is nowhere to be found. Why is that?

Its because the Bootloader of our P6 isn't locked,
it only includes a signature-check, so that unsigned software can not put on our device.
Huawei did erase this signature-check in B118CN, but flashing this can cause a brick of your device.
But I hope that Huawei will remove this checking in the next International-Build, too.

use the trick from the forum (fastboot trick), or update via dload to b132, and then to b510, i know that b510 is kitkat and unlocks your bootloader automatically! (mine came with b112sp04 and locked bootloader, but once i updated to b510, the bootloader became unlocked without the fastboot trick)

First method :
- go here and put your : device name, S/N, IMEI and your ID ( *#*#1357946#*#* )
The second method :
- send a e-mail to Huawei ( [email protected] ) , usually you'll receive the unlock code in a day !
Use a computer with chrome or opera on it, mobile web browsers are prone to issues with special web sites. Side note when doing rom related work its REALLY not suggested to try and do them from the device your actively trying to unlock / rom.
guys i cant unlock the bootloader ...the fkin server is always busy ...
any suggest ?
I get error messages too. Can't open any page for getting bootloader unlocked

I asume you don't have the TWRP because without the unlock code is imposible to unlock bootloader, so, just go here https://twrp.me/devices/huaweig8.html and follow instructions from section "Fastboot Install Method (No Root Required). For this you will of course have the ADB files and drivers installed via Android APK package so you can use COMMAND PROMPT as the TWRP guide says. Just follow instructions. Nubia z11 Bootloader locked?

Hi,
is anybody here able to confirm whether the bootloader of the nubia z11 is locked or unlocked or at least unlockable?
I saw an ROM with a custom kernel so I assume it is unlockable?
Greetings and thanks
Hi
My phone arrived with the bootloader blocked, this can be seen running:
(reboot in bootloader mode, install android adb drivers then
fastboot oem device-info
DEVICE-UNLOCKED: false
To unlock my bootloader update to the Chinese ROM STOCK that has Android 7.1.1, enable the debugging options and in the same options appears PERMIT OEM UNLOCK, after enabling this option I was able to unlock the bootloader using:
Fastboot oem unlock
Now my bootloader is unlocked, since Android 6 I did not find a method

hi ! my first post on xda ...
i own a nubia z11 nx531j, and read all infos here, but can't find answer to my problem :
my android version is 7.1.1 and i would to install custom rom (for sure a rom with no google services ...)
i know for sure that i have to flash twrp , but before this i have to unlock the bootloader, and this is MY PROBLEM
it is 3 hours i'm looking for answers but can't find anything good
indeed , the fastboot command "oem unlock" is not allowed, maybe due to my 7.1.1 version ? i'm not sure i ll be allowed to downgrade, risks of losing imei ?
please, help , and sorry for my poor english

U dont need to downgrade, adb fastboot works with Nubia Z11. Make sure you download latest zte driver for your windows/mac os, only after that you'll be able to unlock it.
thx for your reading
but .. i found how to unlock the bootloader ..
the key point is that when you click on "allow oem unlock", the toggle becomes green but don't stay green if you're going out and re-enter dev options !
you have to click on the line and not on the toggle itself, and then you have to enter your pin !
then go back to bootloader and i have to type "fastboot oem unlock-go "
and voila !

In my case allow oem unlock 'toggle' worked normally, it asked for the pin as soon as i tap it and it stayed green after re-enterring in dev option.

Update a locked P20 with stock roms

Hi to all,
i have a P20 branded (and with bootloader locked), with verey delayed software updates.
I would like to if i could update it using the roms downloaded through Firmware finder, and which is the procedure, since i tried to download the latest update.zip found on FF, unpacked in the dload directory of my phone, rebooted on stock recovery (vol up+vol down + power) and had a generic error.
thanks a lot for your informations.
Packing yourself a 'non-working' dload with extracted update.app from original firmware found on Firmware Finder won't work...
To force an update with a locked bootloader, you could :
-Try to update with FirmwareFinder's DNS, Hisuite 5 and an IMEI-approved OTA-MF ; You'll be updated without any userdata erased.
-Use a working dload firmware for your model and cust to update. Download said dload archive for free from http://androidhost.ru ; Your SDcard or your USB-OTG must be ExFAT formatted for dload update to work !!!
All your userdatas will be erased this way.
-Buy your bootloader's unlock code online from a third-party. Unlock your bootloader. Install a working twrp custom recovery. Use HuRUpdater with any updated firmwares for your model and cust you can find with FirmwareFinder. You'll be updated without any userdata erased.

Working dload archives should upgrade fine with your model's and cust's archives.
Working dload archives should downgrade fine with unlocked bootloader.
Only some users are reporting successfull dload downgrades WITH a locked bootloader on SHT and CMR for now. Most fails.

Bootloader unlock for China varient

Does anyone know if there is a special way to unlock the China version of this device?
I have the 8/128gb version from China and can not unlock the bootloader. Ive tired anything and everything and it just hangs after I run the flashing unlock prompt (on cmd term) and nothing happens on my phone screen.
Has anyone else faced this problem and is there any tips/solutions?
Thanks
Edit: I also get this screen when running the unlocking script as well.
Any ideas? As I don’t speak/read Mandarin or Cantonese (apologies if I mislabeled the dialect used)
Mods, please delete!
I was able to use a different windows machine and everything worked !
Was you able to flash a custom ROM ?

There are official tool and guide to unlock bootloader on Realme China forum.
Here are the links:
https://www.realmebbs.com/post-details/1163724162963877888
https://www.realmebbs.com/post-details/1164389059200561152
You can see some screenshots in the links.
0. Log in realme account on your phone.
1. Install "DeepTesting_realme-release_signed(8).apk"
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qVV9xWvlWNQ8VPdQuU_5Rfd4WM932lpc/view?usp=sharing
2. Turn on "Developer options" (Press "Build number" 7 times)
3. Turn on oemlock in "Developer options"
4. Apply bootloader unlock in "DeepTesting" app.
5. Around 15 minutes later, your application will be reviewed. Click "开始深度测试" Your device will reboot to "START" fastboot. Use "fastboot flashing unlock" command to unlock bootloader.
The steps is my translation from the official forum article. I bought a Realme X Chinese varient online yesterday (4+64 G, CNY ¥950). It is on shipping now. I will try this official guide after receiving the device.
Note: I am not sure if there is an English version of "DeepTesting_realme-release_signed(8).apk". Here are some Chinese phrases, which may appear in the unlock app. In Chinese, "开始" means "start". "深度测试" means "DeepTesting". "已提交申请" means "have submitted application". "查询审核状态" means "check review state". "审核通过" means "Reviewed".

Hi, the in-depth test from the indian guide to unlock the bootloader (https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1167251892128972800) can be used on the chinese version?

Perhaps not the same. I find the MD5 of the Chinese and Indian in-depth apk are different. You need to relock your phone with official in-depth app. The official unlock guides are similar. I'm sorry that I didn't translate reboot to fastboot with ADB command previously.

I think so, but the screenshots of the phone during unlock are kind of different. You need to read the texts on the screen to choose options with power button or Volume +/- button.

I read the Indian guide carefully and find there is no "Turn on OEM unlock in Developer options" step. It is necessary in Chinese version. I have received my Chinese Realme X and flashed "TWRP 3.3.1-30 Unofficial by mauronofrio", "lineage-16.0-20200108-UNOFFICIAL-RMX1901.zip" successfully . "Modified VBMETA" is necessary for flashing TWRP.

As of my knowledge "fastboot oem lock" will destroy the system image if it was modified.
I think your info is incomplete !

I am sorry but I didn't get what exactly you are saying. Let me give more details. I have Indian variant of the device. Suppose I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and flashed some custom rom. Later if I wanna relock the bootloader, what exactly I am supposed to do.

To do this, flash the miui fastboot rom via XiaoMiFlash and make sure the "clean all and lock" option is selected.
Of course, this means that everything on your phone will be erased - the phone will be restored to its factory settings as on the day of purchase.

1) If your device came with a Chinese firmware out of the box and you cross-flashed an Indian or a global you should not re-lock it.
2) If your device came with an Indian or a global firmware and you cross-flashed a Chinese firmware then you should not re-lock it.

I'm assuming before re-locking bootloader, you have to flash stock rom and stock recovery appropriate to your phone model?
Yes, it's mandatory to re-flash the stock ROM which previously was into device, assuming that it's used MiFlash tool both things are done in same operation.
