I love the MIUI work, so I wanted to flash the lastest MIUI v5. Although there isn't any updated thread for this. So I decided to share with you
This builds are ported to our device by @santajin so a big thanks to him for porting it :highfive:
What you need:
Lastest MIUI v5 [4.1.10]
Official MIUI 4.2.2 GApps
Multi-Language for 4.1.10 [OPTIONAL]
How to install:
Download all necessary files
Copy them to your SDCard
Full Wipe [unless sdcard]
Flash the latest MIUI V5
Flash the GApps
Flash the Multi-Language [OPTIONAL]
Reboot and Enjoy!

multilang is a full complete package, so you dont have to install the base.
so if you want to use the multilanguage version, then flash it, boot it up and then flash the gapps zip. thats all.

Under extended call settings, I can't enable the caller id ... after tip on this, a fc is the
result ...
Phone app is hardly crashing ...
Can you fix it ?

slows down quite a bit some times. but overall pretty responsive.
also: landscape mode doesn't quite work. even when opening physical keyb.
miui isn't that bad but need some improvements
After supercharging and changing cpu frequencies / gouvernor settings this rom works nearly perfect (well at least for me )

what were your supercharger settings and what are your cpu frequencies/settings?

This isn't a different ROM from santajin's MIUI, it's a guide and the links point to santajin's ROM anyway so there was no need to post in both threads. You didn't really need to post in every single thread in the forum either as it's clearly not a ROM problem therefore shouldn't be posted separately in each ROM thread. You even posted on my ROM thread a while back that you "can't manage [your] sim card contact but it'i the same with several custom rom", so why are you posting on every single ROM thread?
Also if you've ever signed into your phone with your Google account (which you must have done to use it properly) then there's absolutely no way that your contacts aren't backed up onto your account unless you've deliberately disabled this option, in which case more fool you.
I have no idea how to fix your SIM card problem (no, not ROM problem) but please stop posting to every single different ROM thread as it's clearly not a problem with any of the ROMs (other members have even managed to import SIM contacts from the ROMs you complain about). Just open a thread in the Q&A section so we can sort out your problem AWAY from "development", please. The only thing I can think of is that there are in fact no contacts on your SIM else it's just a compatibility issue with your SIM. If you want to discuss this, don't reply to this as I won't reply back. Open a new thread in the Q&A section and quote me there. Thank you.

So what you have there is : The ROM , the flashable google apps , the recovery image which I would like to ask you if drelisdee's recovery would also work and the new kernel which is quite intriguing.
Could you tell us any info on how the new kernel performs ( if it has old bugs(touchscreen + multitouch bugs ) , if it has better performance , and also sd unmount which you probabily cannot test by yourself personally ).

his should work but i only tested with clockworkmod zefie's kernel has alot of patches and enhancements it runs great i noticed no touchscreen bugs check his github for more on his great kernel
Make sure to flash the recovery and perform Wipe data/factory reset, Under Mounts & Storage Format boot, system, data, cache. before flashing my rom does not matter if you coming from stock or any other custom rom

This ROM is not for Optimus One P500 !!!!
Stop asking the same question please. For Optimus one the kernel from this rom needs to be adapted (if possible).
The only other phone that is partially compatible with Optimus One is Optimus T.

Everyday I log in XDA and I see a new awesome rom by you.. Keep it up bro.
This Rom is much better than many other available ROM, Why the developer is not working for patches. Wish to get battery tuned patch. rest all is quite well on this ROM.
Awaiting for a patch for battery and Google play. Google Now is not working as of now.

Installation :
1) Flash the ROM
2) Boot the ROM and setup it in ENGLISH LANGUAGE ONLY(you can change language later, but for setup you need english) (Finger print will bug at the end, just go back and skip it, it'll save your finger anyway.)
3) Go to the second panel of the launcher, you'll see a Chinese app, start it and install the Gapps (you can see some crash of Google)
4) Go to your fx Explorer integrated app and go to DATA/LOCAL. You'll see a USERINIT.SH
5) Launch it with ROOT access (You'll see Done at the top with FX FILE EXPLORER)
6) VOILA

-Wipe cache from recovery
-Disable HW overlay
-Change to google webview

in some cases it is related to custom roms bugs such as (CM ,or other....)
does this problem appear with messenger & whats-app : video-call ??
if so , it is (rom bug )
if it is not appear with other apps . maybe it is gapps issue , so you can replace your youtube by http://skytube-app.com/

Btw, it is indeed a bug from any CM-based rom, someone just clarify that on ROM's thread. I was using RR N though.
Also, I'm thinking on getting back to official stock ROM, my baseband is FND3 which is either india/france, is it ok if I flash ROM from another region? Will my baseband changed? Does it affect anything? I'm not neither from those region.

if you were planning to return to stock, may i advise you to go straight to this rom

no need to do any thing just flash it from recovery, then flash the stock kernel ( in the same post )
it is very stable, very smooth , battery friendly , bug free 100 % ,......

What does it mean to install the patch? What problem is the Contact patch to resolve?
the contacts patch is only to translate the apk to multi-language, if you want to have it in English it is not necessary.

Do you mean you are working on development version?
The author has released version 6. I saw you had replied to that thread you would make ROM based on version 6. Is it that version that you call it as beta version?
I call it beta because I have a group in telegram where people try the rom before launching it in post and that is the maximum functional, I do not like to launch it without trying for possible failures to appear later. quietly they are commenting me the rom improves much to the version 4 of pinella de miui 9.2.4. clarify this rom I did not do it, I just picked it up and translated it and fixed the temperature sensor that made the phone reach temperatures of 40-50-60 C °
