Do you have any clue what you are asking for? This is just not the correct thread. And it seems you don't know anything about MTK devices.
Head over to this thread and read everything from the first post, then you'll understand why you can't get CM for MTK devices.

I'm using Fancy Kernel pre45-2 and it's running very very smoothly. Very fast especially with ART. I think its compatible with Touch Control too. You should check the thread
Edit: it's working, make sure you have the paid version of Touch Control and choose the CM11 module.

Yeah the kernels comming. Tnx mates!!

What kernel should i use for most battery life?

Do you have guys any ideas why CM 11 ROMs have different interface colors than some AOSP based ROMs like AOKP and SlimKAT? I mean... In CM 11 mainly color is still blue (not grey like in KitKat), in AOKP or SlimKAT mainly color has changed to grey.
Look for example in attachment. First and third screenshots are from CM 11, second and fourth from AOKP.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its because cyanogenmod's main colors are blue . plus cyan = blue .

Really? I think you're talking about the stock rom which is customised to get a 'look' of CM. And isn't this the reply you got for your 'look-alike CM' ?!
"Better search before speaking."
Don't tell me that cos I'm not a guy like you who gets fooled by a fake CM rom and then spams other threads by asking off-topic questions.
And please don't reply back here cos I don't want to spam this thread by replying back to you and I haven't even got time for clearing your doubts.

Just for the record....Running CM11 M2 with SuperRam Mpokang kernel, Nephilim settings and ART. The phone is faster than ever, I got 13565 score with Antutu Benchmark. Also, getting about 24 hours battery life with 2:30 h screen on time.
I'm so proud of my old galaxy Nexus xD

There's already an unofficial port for CNA by DaxINFINITY... So:
1. Is this official? (I don't think so)
2. Has any bugs like WiFi tether, unreadable extSD on PC, etc...?
3. What's the different between this & Dax's port, is it just a newer version & Portuguese?
4. Any screenshots?
Sorry for this many questions, I just don't see any worthy reasons to flash this because you only provide minimum info...
Thanks...
Like TerraBuzz I´ll have same question! For me is ext SD very important! Thx for adding some pictures
Wow... That's what I call screenshots...! Thanks for adding those...
Now we can at least know what we'll get, some of them looks new and cool...
Seems like this phone is more 'supported' to run ICS than the officially supported phones... LOL...
The only (happy) problem for me is: which one should I choose...
Beep it - I'm downloading
Are you part of the team, cuz DaxINFINITY already has the I9000, I have the I897. Why did you make a new thread cuz you just compiled it, why not get this deleted and post the DL link in his thread...

Everything is ok, we're just interested is this the same ROM as Dax's cause there's no changelog, nothing, is this rom based on Dax's or what ?
Thread closed while investigating.
And to prevent further flaming.
I will check things out with the involved.
edit:
okay, i talked with the involved...the outcome:
codenamedroid (the original author) is oke with this thread if the OP states its a "unofficial" build.
so i changed the thread title and added that.
however, codeamedroid will also release the OFFICIAL build, he will decide who gets the honours to do so. either Daxfinity or rtfrodrigo.
But that's up to codenamedroid, and still under consideration.
As for this OP, he did nothing really bad.. it was credited, and all he did was "take" it from a public source.
Thats what "social" coding is all about imo. ( like Perka said )
Therefore no serious actions will be taken.
I hope you all can live by this outcome. If not, iam open for debate.
I consider the case closed, and the thread will be open.
Have a nice day folks.
cheers

Well, all of this is weird to me... i was only trying to be kind.
Then i see ppl complaining and thread close, then i was thinking i comited a "crime"...
But is ok, i can remove the thread or anything related to this.
Are there any addons or themes available for this rom?

No dude, get together with dax, talk it over, sort out your differences, and come back, both of you with one blazing good rom, with fixes, and 0 bugs.
I'm on your rom atm, due to the music player not working in 1.3.3 properly.
Yours now works a little on/off at times, but more reliable than on 1.3.3 - that said other than the music player, i preferred the CNA inclusion of things, ie the app.
keep it up, and don't let this get to you my man.
This looks interesting.
So it's based on CNA 1.4.0?
Any bugs?
RIL problems?
I think be18 that you can continue with rom and maybe join forces with Dax.
I'm glad that there is new cna rom here.
Thanks
I just wonder: why he was able to bring 1.4 and others do not ...? I think this is not a little market ....
Whiskey always solves the problems.....and that also, like a boss.

There's two users reports on Dax's thread, main noticable things i've read for your concern is:RIL problem (display problem)is still here but startup tweaks seems working.
Else is about music player, only google's one here...or the other one...dunno,i'm a little lost on this...
You'll find those two reports on page 134 of Dax's thread.
Thank you be18,i'm not on CNA at the moment but your work is welcome and useful...and fair as our friendly mod stated

Thanks a lot for the great rom. But i found a bug. Pressing the menu button in the lockscreen unlocks the phone!
is this a bug??I dont think so
If its not a bug then is there any way to disable it?
First of all, if you read the rules you will see that every thread title must start with ROM or Kernel and so on. Port is wrong. Change that please.Mod edit: this part is useless

nitpicker. and your "and so on" includes the possibility to vary the topic.NOWHERE stands [port] is wrong. And I'm sure there are many forums where nobody is bothering. so don't find ridiculous things to enforce your anger.

we also have several stock like roms. and nobody is *****ing about. there are 2 threads on vanilla cm9 porting. nobody cares.
EVERYONE is allowed to post his rom here even if someone other has a different version of the same. This is community, not a patent sue!
or are you just crying that you are not the only one making a specific rom. sorry, but then you better create a scratch new one and register it at a patent office ;-)
that's economy. competition pushs you to be better.

Welcome to CMB Roms- CM done Better... Dark Themed for his/her Pleasure
Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankenFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.
Features
Based on Android 4.4.2_r1, CM11.0
All current features CM11.0
Customized Dark Holo Theme With Gray ActionBars
Dark Mms
Dark Calendar
Dark Contacts
Ramdisk security tweaks, you can adb as root now!
Bash "tab to complete"
Remount helper, in adb shell
Old
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
New
Code:
remount /system
Better Right??
We plan to add more features, suggestions are welcome (but sometimes ignored )

NOTE: Savie kernel fixes the wifi bug of Hyperion. I would recommend using it if you are experiencing bugs and also, the smartassv2 governor of savie is pretty much decent combined with deadline I/O compared to other kernels. Just an observation
And for my wallpapers, just search galaxy on deviantart. )
And, a thanks would be much of a help. THANKYOU! and Good day
Hehe i am also using almost same mods of combination...........with percy's kernel and kitkat icons!!!!!

Thanks sir! Yes indeed it is one of the best ROM for me as of the moment, most specially that the dev, Mr CarlDeanCatabay announced another release of a "Kitkat"-ish version of this ROM and I am currently waiting for that. But for now, I am most pleased on to tweaking and customizing this ROM )
@phillippous even i experienced the bug first time I flashed.... But after flashing ril fix zip.. It all worked fine... I just suggested the dhd zip coz most of the time wifi problems in stock based roms will be solved by it. If not that, then by placing correct permissions for wifi folder enjoy

Haha I just realized and remembered that the kernel is not the problem. It is in the manual editing of the build.prop that made my wifi go unstable and wild But I am quite contented of the savie kernel most specially its smartassv2.
Well folks, just to refresh your memory..
Posting in Themes and Apps is for posting "Themes", not screenshots. There is a thread dedicated to posting your device screenshots already.
Also, it seems this thread has turned to discussion concerning ROMs/Kernels, which of course would be better placed in the General forum.
So..... we are at a point. Which forum to move this to. So I will move it to General for now.
The OP can request thread deletion, which he can then post his screenshots in the dedicated thread.
Cheers
MD

[4.4/4.4.x][PATCH] Qualcomm-optimized Dalvik & Bionic libraries

Please read the original Thread before doing something..
Q: Can I use it on other devices?
A: Yes, you can use this patch on every Krait device that uses AOSP-based ROM (examples: Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013). Don't flash it on stock ROM on non-Nexus devices, as they already include these optimizations (that includes Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play editions!).
I saw this thread in Nexus 4 forum [4.4/4.4.x][PATCH] Qualcomm-optimized Dalvik & Bionic libraries Then I download and test with
[CM11][4.4.2][D802/800/801][ROM]temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build - V63 [07/04] it's OK my phone can boot.
I can not confirm this patch can use very well with g2 or have benefit for we.
please consider with yourself.
Have you ever wondered why your Nexus 4 performs worse than other flagship devices with the same quad-core CPU in benchmarks? Not any more! I present you with a very simple patch that will boost your performance to what other APQ8064-based devices offer.
Q: Can I use it?
A: Yes, if you're on any 4.4/4.4.x ROM.
Q: How does this work?
A: This patch consists of two files that include optimized bionic and Dalvik libraries for any KitKat ROM.
Q: What is bionic?
A: It is a vital system library that provides i.a. basic math and memory access functions to every other library and application in Android.
Q: What is Dalvik?
A: In short, Dalvik is a virtual machine in which every not-native-code app runs. You can read more about it in a Wikipedia article.
Q: How do I benefit from this patch?
A: In two ways: bionic patch provides faster memory access and optimized some of the math operations, dalvik provides optimized Dalvik Virtual Machine library that allows faster code execution.

That is not my experience. I have even had boot loops on different AOSP based ROMs. So make a backup before flashing system files as always.

No one, including me, is in the mood to read the original thread. You posted it here, so write whats in the original thread so prevent confusing guys...Just cause you found an "AWESOME SUPER DUPER EPIC" patch which is kinda placebo, doesnt mean you can do whatever you want
In red: 4th and 5th lines of the op
"Don't flash on stock ROM on non-Nexus devices"
I think that's pretty clear, always have to read the op in its entirety.
I'll give this a shot and will report back, running vs980 3.25 build of beanstalk.

Anyways, this mod isnt something special, like any other script, mod and placebo things.
Guys expecting some rocketboosting thingy, when you apply an patch without changing the hardware.
The G2 itself IS already pretty powerful, why you wanna hurt it with putting such stuff on it... i dont get it.

Yes, it is powerful but the overall user experience is much improved if the battery last longer with optimized libs.
Optimization means lower operating temperatures and longer life for your device.
Every AOSP rom suffers from proper optimization. This patch is most welcome!

From my experience on AOSP Roms, only the Bionic libs work on our LG. The Dalvik libs will cause a boot loop

how to know if it is bases on AOSP? sorry im a newbie
[url="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51547944&postcount=1220]Here's a link[/url] @Hammer_Of_The_Gods posted some time ago. It's the bionic optimizations only. If you choose to install either the bionic or the dalvik (which shouldn't be necessary but w/e floats your boat), then I'd recommend using the links in that thread only. The thread OP linked hasn't been updated in a month, whereas @jphilippon's thread was updated a less than a week ago.
Also, what the hell is wrong with these commenters... "I flashed on stock ROM, boot loop..." "this is all placebo..."
Read the directions. You can't blame anyone but yourself for not adhering to the directions. I don't blame Kraft for making bad Mac n' Cheese because I decided to replace the water with orange juice and put it on the grill...
And if you don't think this mod does anything, ignore it. I saw a thread where some guy ported the stock LG keyboard to AOSP ROMs. That sounds stupid as hell to me, but I sure didn't go in that thread and poop-post.
P.S. DON'T FLASH THE DALVIK zip on PA4.2b3. The bionic optimizations worked fine for me, though.

Most ROM posts say that somewhere.
But heres a list of some AOSP based ROMs and ROM bases:
CM/CyanogenMod based ROMS
PA/ParanoidAndroid based ROMS
AOKP/Android Open Kang Project based ROMS
P.A.C/PA+AOKP+CM
OmniROM
MoKee
And others that I don't remember right now.
All of the ROMs in G2 Original Android Development I think are AOSP based. But beware. You will get boot loops with this patch in some of them. I can't remember which though.
