[ROM][4.4.2] OmniRom 1-13-14 UNOFFICIAL - Nexus 10 Android Development

This is a stock compilation of OmniRom for Manta.
Thanks to all the guys over at OmniRom,org for all their hard work. I just thought I'd share my working build. I'll do my best to keep things updated since there is no official build for us.
You can keep track of the merged changes here:
https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:merged,n,z
Downloads:
1-13-14:
https://www.mediafire.com/?9b5496wgi5s37f9
Issues:
I can't seem to get my camera app or gallery to show, although 3rd party camera apps work just fine
I am not responsible if your phone explodes or does something funky. This isn't my software so I can't provide much, if any support if you screw something up

Great!! Another flavor of Omnirom, I'll try it out and report back.
Thanks for the work!

There is an official nightly:
http://dl.omnirom.org/manta/
Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 10 met Tapatalk

Appreciate any new developers of course, but as scanno posted, there is an official build for manta. I've been on it since early December. The OpenDelta option in settings is really sweet too, just dl's the diff between yesterday's and today's flashable zips and patches a local copy so downloads are minimal. Plus there's a FlashAfterUpdate folder you can put other zips (e.g. gapps, supersu, etc) into that will automatically be installed after flashing the update.
And I find https://changelog.omnirom.org/ a little better formatted changelog.
But don't let me discourage you at all. I wish I had the wherewithall to even set up a dev environment to compile my own. Keep it up!

Are Omni and Gravity Box getting along better than they used to? I think I recall some issues on my N4, but it's been several weeks.
Edit: apparently it's worse than before. Now GB won't even load. Ah well, I can live without it.

On an update from the settings/system update. Do I have to keep adding the gapps back or will just flashing the update work?

Gotta have The New Hotness. Working pretty damn well too.
MMuzzy 4.2
I waited for people to be my guinea pigs, read their many complaints, and then stuck with 4.1.2. I suggest Minco for a stable, problem free rooted ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1790532
i am sticking with 4.1.2. i need to be able to hear my phone ring and the sound mod i use doesnt work with 4.2. also im not a fan of the new lockscreen on 4.2
One of the reasons I bought a Nexus was to get the stock Android experience and get the newest updates upon release. First I didn't really look into rooting and flashing, while I was on 4.1.2, so I didn't have anything to lose if I went to 4.2. Now I finally started trying out ROM's and stuff so next update it will be more difficult to take the step.
Yeah. Rooting and ROMming opens up a whole world of possibilities, especially for Nexus devices. Nice userpic BTW . Heisenberg ftw.
Still on DarkPA 2.54 for now.
Got 4.2 OTA the day it was released and am sorry I did. Had some custom shell scripts set up to mount and bind my USB stick on my rooted N7 and they no longer work. Even the updated stickMount app is flakey at best. Probably going back to 4.1.2 soon if someone can't figure out how to work around the new "security" features of 4.2.

Huh... I think while 3rd party apps are still catching up, 4.2 is pretty stable itself. Ran a short test, 253h uptime. Buttery smooth.

I jumped onto 4.1 as soon as a ROM was released. I sceptical on moving into 4.2. From what I have heard I might not be moving for a while.

Well, I like stability... therefore I chose to update to 4.2! Lol I'm running a Rom that has linaro tweaks built into it and it is great! I don't have any of the bugs that stock 4.2 experiences. I love bleeding edge and so does everyone who owns a Nexus! Isn't that the point of owning one?!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Tried stock 4.2 and thought it was really good. Stable and smooth! But couldn't get the mods I wanted. I would normally keep flashing as ROMs are updated, flashing was ridden with problems with /0/0/0 and the like. I know there is a workaround, but I'd rather wait until this is all sorted through. Flashing is supposed to be fun - not give me a headache!
Sticking with bugless beast 4.1.2 with trinity kernel. woohoo

As much as I want to move forward with 4.2. I'm still waiting on more ROMs to show up and give more time for 4.2 to blend in. Still some issues with it so I could wait on 4.1.2 as of now. Everything is working so ain't in a rush. I am running 4.2 apps though on my VZW GN.

[ROM] [NIGHTLY] [GSM] CyanogenMod 10.1 - UNOFFICIAL

In the absence of an official CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly for the Galaxy Nexus (Maguro) I thought I make a thread for discussing the next CM10.1 builds. I'll try to compile a new nightly every day or two, until the official CM10.1 nightlies appear on the Cyanogenmod servers. That way everybody can see the progress of this great ROM and try it for themselves. Please report any bugs here too to help the devs!
Builds up to 2012/12/12 are compiled from the mr1-staging branch
Builds as of 2012/12/13 are compiled from the cm-10.1 branch
Downloads
Nightlies: http://nexfiles.kjonigsen.net/maguro/cm10.1/
Modified GAPPS: http://nexfiles.kjonigsen.net/maguro/cm10.1/gapps-jb-20121212-unsigned-jorgen.zip: It's the same as found on goo.im/gapps, but modified to include Thinkfree. It's not signed, I was too lazy, so turn verification off in recovery
Changelog, relative to the 2012/12/13 build
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-10.1,n,z
Credits
All credits go to the Cyanogenmod Team! I'm only compiling their great work
Special thanks to josteink for generously hosting the ROMS
Is there anything to consider when flashing these nightlies i assume are based on 4.2?

Get Gapps from XDA. They're safe.
For everyone wanting gesture type, gapps and photosphere to work, flash these from the CM10.1 Nexus 4 thread.

How long did it take you to sync repos? I've been trying all day, but it craps out after a few minutes. I can wait, so it's not really a big deal but I'm just curious. I'm assuming a lot of people are hammering into it trying to get the source as well.
Any issues compiling? Also, Which tool chain are you using? Thanks.
Syncing the complete repo took some time yes, but once the initial sync is done it's OK.
About my setup: I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and followed more or less the wiki on cyanogen, of course adjusted to the mr1-staging branch. Nothing special here. Compiling gave me no errors

Also got a ton of folders and subfolders emulating an sdcard, all empty. Isnt it weird?
Are the stock toggles real toggles or shortcuts like on stock 4.2?

Now to wait until there's a PA 4.4 version custom ROM released OR any other ROM with tablet and extended desktop modes.
I'm still running/loving 4.1.2 PA 2.54 for over a year now, so will likely be just testing out any new 4.4 ROMs.

Paranoid Android Why?

I have downloaded the Paranoid Android OS to flash into my OP3, the OS seem good and best of all very slim no crap installed into it.....big plus! But the big down side is that the finger print dont work at all, unless if you go looking around to find a solution for it on the net. Well that really suck, why the hell would any body go from CM13 or even CM14.1 to PA? when the fingerprint is perfectly working on CM ?
