Launcher Default Issues 4.4.2 Beanstalk 4.4.205 - Sprint LG Optimus G

I recently flashed this onto my device I have cleared every default I can find through the manage APPs settings. I have used root explorer to move and even delete the GoogleHome.APK but no matter what I do it always takes over as the default launcher. I wish to use Nova and even when I have it check the default launcher the Google Home launcher takes over. I know this is a miner bug but it is very annoying.

How to back up widget on screen

Hi guys
I'm working on a them for our gs, with launcher pro plus
My theme use a lot of widget and complexe position in different screen (7)
Is it possible to create a back up for all the widget and their position and cook a rom that use all my work ?
the idea is: you flash my custom darky , and after the install and 1st boot, you have all widget in their right place in launcher pro
But A thing makes me perplexed .
When i go to launcher pro tools, at "back up homescreen ans sittings" there is a prevent message:
Due to limitation in the Android system, widget connot be backed up.

Click to collapse
Damned
Anybody have a solution to this?
is it realy IMPOSSIBLE to make something like that with android and launcher pro?
I can believe that..
Here's a trick
When restoring with launcher pro do this :
Restore
Then when it says to restart launcher pro, reboot your phone instead
When it loads your widget's should be functional.
Try it out.
thanks for the tricks!
But is it possible to save all widget position and put them in a darky's rom , so everybody can have the same when flashing?
Well u can edit the default workspace xml or using the method described above make it so when flashing the update.zip of the rom, it places a preconfigured launcherpro backup into the /data/data folder of launcherpro and hence upon restart it should work.
^^ All theoretical

[Q] Force Closes on stock launcher 4.3

Hi,
I have a Galaxy Nexus with unrooted stock Android 4.3 (build JWR66Y) and I am experiencing a weird behavior with stock launcher since I have updated to Android 4.3.
It happens when I uninstall any app that is organized within a folder in the home screen, thus the removed app icon remains in that folder, and when I try to open that folder the stock launcher force closes. I mean, every time that I do the steps described bellow the stock launcher force closes:
1)Uninstall an app that is within a folder at home screen;
2)Although the app is removed, its icon still remains within its home screen folder;
3) Then, When I try to open the removed app folder the stock launcher always force closes...
I was just wondering if is it a known bug for Android 4.3? Is someone else experiencing the same issue? Is there any workaround for this issue?
I have searched about It and I couldn't find any help...
Thanks

Experienced the same issue here. Only fix for me was to install a different launcher (nova for me) and that didn't fc, also was a lot faster imo because when I pressed the home button, the stock launcher first had a coffee before showing me my homescreen.

[REQUEST] AOSP apps package Android L

I've been using the Android L port and I'm loving it. The only problem is that I hate all the official google apps. Plus the ROM only comes with Google photos. I really want to put something together once the ROM is more stable (although it really is good right now) that includes aosp style apps.
Does anyone know where I can get the apps? Can I just pull them from a custom ROM? Or can someone put together a zip that has a few aosp apps? I'm mainly thinking browser, gallery and a file manager, but suggestions are welcome.
EDIT: I was able to pull the apks out of another ROM, I chose the latest (7-20 at time of writing this) CM11 and put the files where they should be /system/app and I changed the permissions to match other files in the same location. Then I rebooted to recovery and wiped both caches. File manager (CM File Manager) and gallery worked fine, I can't figure out browser though. I found an app on the play store that was an AOSP Browser installer and tried that too, but browser keeps crashing on launch. So if anybody knows how to make AOSP browser install please enlighten me.
Thank you.

Android DP4 - Where is System UI Tuner?

Where can I find system UI tuner in DP4? Thank you.
It's hidden in android P, but if you are rooted you can download the latest Pixel Launcher Mods 1.2, which has a shortcut for it.
Thanks for responding. I use ADW launcher so I was hoping for another solution.
No problem for that, Pixel Launcher Mods is just an app, if you don't enable launcher-specific option (that wouldn't work just because you're using another launcher), you can use it for launch the systemui tuner and nothing else
Edit: you can grab this app and create a shortcut for it if you want to: https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/8p50yo/simple_way_to_get_system_ui_tuner_on_android_p/

[GUIDE] Dark Mode and Google Pixel NAVIGATION GESTURES Global Rom 3/3s

Hello, I have created this guide to enable the google pixel gestures, I had the Chinese rom installed but I had to go back to the global rom since the play store stopped working and I tried to solve the problem and I am not successful, so I gave myself the task of customize my phone, sorry for the bad writing since I am not a native of English.
1-the first thing is to have root access
LINK: https://forum.xda-developers.com/red-magic-3/how-to/guide-flashing-twrp-granting-root-t3936148
2-Install QuickSwitch Module from Magisk Manager if you don't know how to use or install QuickSwitch you can see this video where it is explained how to do it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTaH4v1Nq2E
3-Download Launchair 2 and set it to default with QuickSwith can be (configured to your own liking)
you can use another launcher if you don't like the launchair 2 I also leave you the link
Launchair 2: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah
One Plus Launcher (change multitasking) http://www.mediafire.com/file/h6w2li36d9yu36o/OnePlusLauncher.apk/file
Asus Zen Launcher http://www.mediafire.com/file/p66vwzm4h9dstdl/ZenUILauncher.apk/file
you can also use nova launcher but it doesn't work with QuickSwitch
so to make it work you have to select launchair by default in QuickSwitch and put nova launcher as default launcher in app settings and notifications, and with this it will work normally
4-once you have selected the default launcher you can activate the navigation gestures in Configuration --- System --- Gestures
5-Download Substratratum to be able to apply custom themes
LINK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum
6-apply theme I used this theme to customize it, it is paid but you can use some that are free you can find them without problem in play store
LINK:
pay option
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=liv.substratum.theme
screenshots
It works but whenever I switch on the game mode and drag down the notification panel it says system ui crashed
I lost interest at "1. The first thing is to have root access..."
