(NOOB) Been working with my Note 8.0 and wanted to install Philz Recovery. I flashed the .tar file with Odin found under my model number but It wouldn't boot into recovery, I flashed the recovery two more times to neither being successful and now it does not boot. Can anyone help please? I noticed when I enter download mode it says

Can anyone assist me getting the system to boot properly? Thanks
Odin back to stock and put CWM or TWRP on ur device and then flash PhilZ using zip method.
I don't need to wipe anything since it's only a recovery correct?

My note 2 soft bricked after installing chain fire 3d drivers it wouldnt even boot custom recovery. i have re flashed stock rom with pc odin and it wont boot past the samsung logo?
Any ideas?
Did you try the Odin flash with the PIT file?

1. Flashed CWM with odin
2. Full wipe
3. Flashed sammy offical rom
and its now working fine.
I like the cwm more than twrp..

If ROM manager doesn't work you will have to use Odin.

I have samsung galaxy grand I want to root my mobile I have successfully install chotu tar in my handset but in recovery mode I can't install supersu.
And I can show custom binary down : yes ( 5 count )
Current binary : Samsung official
System status : official
Now what I have to do for root my galaxy grand.

Flash Chotu's CWM once again using Odin
After you have installed chotu's file boot into recovery mode by pressing Home + Volume Up + Powee Button and immediately flash Recovery-Fix.zip and then flash supersu.zip
The zips mentioned here should be in the root guide by chotu

I was reading posts for last few hours but I can solve my problem.
Here is what did happen.
I have flashed Dr.Ketan V8 Rom and everything worked except WiFi on my Note 2 N7100. After few days I decided to flash "N7100_KK_ND3_BL.tar" as it is stated that after that WiFi should work. After I did flash I had stuck in the load Note 2 screen and can't move eversince.
I can get into download mode but cant get into recovery mode.
I have tryed to flash "N7100_KK_ND3_Recovery.tar" and then again not able to get into recovey. Also I have tried with Twrp and Philz recoveries but again can't pass loging screen.
I have also tried to flash old BL ad that failed in Odin.
In download mode I see this:

Managed to solve the issue by flashing stock 4.4.2 rom...
I recently installed clockworkmod recovery on my friends Note 3 and when I tried going into the recovery to install a ROM the recovery doesn't boot up them goes to a black screen and boots up normally as if I just restarted the phone. Any help?

You may have installed the wrong recovery.
Check your download. If it's correct try odin again.

I would ask for a little more information to help you figure this out.
What ROM is the device running? Stock? If so, that is the issue. In order for it to stick, you'll need to flash it via odin, after the flash, pull the battery, and manually boot into recovery mode and flash a custom ROM.
You'll need the "ROM".zip pre-loaded on the device before you do all of this.
