Im also getting this issue when I flash st8ck rom, and I can't understand why, when i flash bacl to ketan rom everything is fine, but if i flash back to stock imei gets 0044, i have tryed to restore imei backup but it wont work, how do you know whst modem you are suppost to Flash? I live in sweden and im all new to this, thanks for your help!

Try ODIN to mdl...if it doesn't work, you are out of luck buddy.
Maybe try flashing a 4.2 rom also
By the way, this is in the wrong section. Will see if a moderate can move it for you, maybe you will get far better insightful answers at the QnA section

Yes.... Odin/MobileOdin MDL. Works fine.

I just updated to Swiss 4.3 through OTA
But I found GPS unable to find a fix after whole day searching
Now I want to go back to 4.1.2
So is there a way to reverse without tipping the KNOX Bit....

I don't think there's any way to downgrade after updating to official 4.3...

how the hell you gonna flash the bootloader ? official 4.3 bootloader cannot be downgrade.
I have upgraded to 4.3 and it really sucks. Battery drains so fast that I have to charge almost 3 times a day.
Does anyone have stock 4.1.2 rom? I want to downgrade.
Please help.

There are 4.1.2 stock firmwares over at Sammobile.But i dont think you can return to 4.1.2 with a 4.3 Knoxed Bootloader
I have checked SamMobile it dont have 4.1.2 for India any more. just 4.3. I have downgraded to 4.1.1 and dont have any problem because of knoxed but just cant find any working 4.1.2 ROMS. I did tried few on XDA by Dr. Ketan.

Edit:Hmm true.. you dont have 4.2.2 for china.. damn.
I hope you can flash custom recovery. Try to flash custom recovery, then flash GenNxt rom by balliboxer.
Then try flashing kitkat rom.
After that flash lollipop rom. Or stay kitkat since lolli is new and kinda unstable.
You put the tar file of other country in pda right?

i have a grand duos and it wont install stock rom using odin. DONT KNOW WHY PLEASE HELP. when i use odin to flash it shows fail like 5 sec into the process. i dont have any back up that i made. i believe its a chines version but not the lame ass mtk or whatever. it had android version 4.1 on it before. can you guys help me out please HELP ME
