Backing up and/or extracting a widget from a launcher. - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hi guys!
I hope someone can help me, I fell in love with the "Recents" widget from the Action Launcher, but since I moved to a different one (GEL), I can't use the widged or find a decent substitute. I can't find a screenshot, but it's just a simple re-sizable box with the recent apps in it.
Does anyone know anyway of extracting it's *.apk from the launcher ?
Thanks in advance!

how do i change the icons of the apps in my dock WITHOUT using a custom launcher?

hi everyone,
is there a way to change the icons of the apps in the dock on my GN? i tried installing Go Launcher EX and i found that it wasn't very fluid. I would much rather stay with the stock launcher. i just wish there was an easy way to change the icons in the dock so they could match the style of my home screen!
dialer, gmail. handcent and web browser are what i'm trying to trick out.
any help is very appreciated!
thank you
chris
As far as I know, it's not possible to modify app icons in the dock of the stock launcher.
^ seconded...I'm not sure that it can be done without a) changing the files in the framework on the Stock Rom, or using another launcher.
crud ok then, which launchers have worked the best for you on the GN? I'm really looking for one that will be as fluid as the stock launcher and not hog too many resources
ADW Ex is updated for ICS and is very quick/smooth and resource friendly.
You can do it with "Desktop Visualizer". Just create a new shortcut with the app, apply any icon you want, assign it to the application you want to open and drag it down to the dock.

Nope, that's not possible. The Folder Organizer-folder does'nt stick in the dockbar.

Of course you can. I have.
Use Folder Organizer shortcuts, they work perfectly.
Edit: Nevermind. Misunderstood the question.

Folder widget?

I'm fairly new to zooper and am using nova prime. I use folders to make things tidy, while at the same time having access to all of my frequently used apps. I am wondering if it is possible, and if so, how would I create a widget (I want to create a text widget with transparency) that links or is the cover to a folder. Is this possible?
Thanks much and great app..

I'm also using Nova and still haven't been able to figure this out. In the mean time, I use simi widget but I would like to have Zooper support folders on its own. I can create them in the app drawer, but Zooper doesn't recognize them. Did you ever find a solution to this, or are you just using a third party app?
I was never able to get this to work with Nova. I also tried many of the other popular launchers including Apex, ADW, and Smart Launcher, but none of them worked either. What is required is a launcher that allows creation of a shortcut to a folder or group or something. To date, I've only found two launchers that do this: Themer and Lightning Launcher. Both are good, but for me, I really like the amount of configurability of Lightning Launcher. If you put in the time to work with it and combine it with Zooper, many of the "effects" that Themer tries to simulate, such as slide out drawers which have to be done with multiple screens a lot of widget duplication, can actually be made truly functional in Lightning Launcher. Space between dock apps and home-screen apps help!

Hello guys I just have a quick question for ya, maybe someone could help me. I was wondering how the space between the dock apps and the homescreen grid is called, you know the one with the page indicator in it. It bugs me a lot and I was wondering whether there's a way that I can reduce it's size. To avoid misconceptions I've uploaded a photo of it . I am on stock LP ,rooted and running Xposed on an LG D855. Thanks in advance.

widget resizing mod??

Hey! Does anyone know if there exists a MOD that can forcefully resize any widget and have it fill in with padding? I'm looking for the resizing and padding feature present in nova launcher essentially. If not, would it be incredibly difficult to compose such a MOD? I would love to have this feature with the new pixel launcher on my phone as there were several widgets which I had resized to my liking when I was using nova that I just simply can not make go that small anymore. Thanks!

[Fulmics] G3 Easyhome - Contact widget on different launcher?

Hi xda,
Is there any way to add the Easyhome contact widget to a different launcher? For reference, this is what I'm looking for, and it seems to be only available in Easyhome: http://i.imgur.com/nqDRldr.jpg
The contact widget in the regular launcher just isn't the same. Easyhome is a bit too simple for me, but this option is just so functional and aesthetically pleasing that I'm seriously hoping there's some way to apply it to the regular home. I haven't been able to find it as a downloadable widget either :/ Does anyone potentially have a solution for me? I appreciate any insight at all, and thank you tremendously.
Anthony.
