Screen Wake/Off for Flip Cover without Magnets via Light Sensor

Hi Fellow Nexus 7 FHD Users,
Just like to share to you for those who are looking an app and doesn't know about Intellicover 2.0 which auto off/on your screen.
This is perfect for those who own the Travel Case/Premium Cover that doesn't have magnet for auto wake/off function.
The app works on N7 FHD via light sensor since this tablet doesn't have Proximity Sensor. Just remember to calibrate it very well for your needs.

problem is that all these apps drain battery as they are continuously running in the background

Knock function for lock screen

My LG G Pad 8.3 had a couple of nice features on the lock screen. One was apps that were embedded into the lock screen taking you directly into the app. the other and my favorite was tapping twice on the screen to turn wake up and put the tablet to sleep.
Is there any way to get this functionality on the Tab Pro 8.4?

On the 10.1, in Settings-Device-Lockscreen-Shortcuts, you can add 5 shortcuts to launch apps directly from the lock screen. Does the 8.4 have that setting?

Double tap to wake would be really nice.

I believe the function would need to be built into the kernel. So on a stock Galaxy Tab Pro, No.
But on a custom ROM, or a mod that involves a custom kernel, maybe. You will see Sweep2Wake (requires custom kernel) on other devices, which is not too dissimilar.

Qpair taking calls?

So i recently got a lg g pad 7.0 and love it. The flatter ui is amazing (will we get the ui on our 8.3). And it can receive calls through qpai....our gpads have the mic so why cant we ?

Because my friend the new g pads got the new ui from g3 but dont worry we get that too official or unofficial from custom roms

Quick Circle Case?

I have a question regarding quick circle apps? I want to buy a quick circle case (a cheap one not the official one, too expensive) I know that using the quick circle apps you are able to take pictures.
What I want to know is can you record videos (1080p or 4K videos) while using the circle case?
This is what may keep me from buying a quick circle case.

I got my circle case for free by registering my phone and i haven't seen a recording feature yet just pics but new mods are out almost daily

Plus I think that when you fold the case back you can still use the camera because the circle is over the camera if you know what I mean. I don't have my case to hand to check at the minute.

Circle Case Durability

I am thinking of putting on LG's circle case for my lg g3, and I was wondering how durable/protective it is. I have yet to see a drop video for it or anything.
