Yes it is OTG... otherwise your computer will not sync with your mobile device..

Just curious, why did you have to cancel this KS campaign a year ago and restart it again now? Also, if you already put work and resources into making this product last year, why will it take that long second time around to be available only in August? Sorry, not trying to give you a hard time, just curious.

Last year I went with a target of 25K which turned out to be unrealistic. So i cancelled the funding. I did not post after that as the manufacturer I was working with would only produces at 10K units or more. I rebooted the funding as I found a new manufacturer who can produce 100 units minimum.
I already have the prototype I use. If this even goes to those 100 people who need something like this, I will be happy to work with them. So i rebooted the funding with a lowered goal of 5K.
I need one of these.

People i don't understand you..Majority of you has decided to root your device and install new softwer on it..everything works fine for some time and than problems for most of you..my question is,why are you doing that?most things are installed for a reason..thats the same thing like buying a familly car and than making sport coupe from that same car..my opinion is,if you expect from your phone to bake cookies,make coffie,wash dishes buy the phone that does that..metaforic said..i see that every day someone starts the topic Bricked,What to do,Please help etc.. It's a simple enough concept, why haven't I seem this anywhere and where would I be able to get one?
But I can't get just any attachment, I need one that fits my phone, which is a G2.
My Question: Is there an adjustable version of this? one that will fit onto an phone and can be adjusted to work with most?
I've been wondering this for over a year now.
I don't see why not. It doesn't seem like a difficult or expensive concept by any means.
Just thought of something:
what about a micro-usb camera that can be plugged into the phone and used as a front facing camera? is that even possible on android?

well the idea is great. Looks possible and should be expensive but I think it will require some software which uses the back camera while video call (don't know if it already exists or not though it shouldn't be hard on an andriod). I have not seen this or anything similar for sale as of now.
This sounds like a job for a 3d printing hobbyist!
If people are interested and willing to fund development (can't be more than $30 per prototype print), I would be willing to create a 3d-printable universal version.

What I would need from you guys is ideas about what kind of mirrors could be used. They would have to be readily available to nearly everybody and easily fitted into the holder. The plan is likely going to be, you can order the 3d-printed project from a 3d printing service, then either go to your local store or some sort of online store and get the mirrors separately.
that seems like a pretty good idea but then you would have to carry around a fragile mirror.

O hate micro usb because no matter how careful I am with the cable I always tend to break it. I why oh why can't phone manufacturers use the more durable mini usb?!?!

Have you every did a proper controlled test to find out? The proprietary cable just make it harder to find and is made of a lousier quality material than what my Xplay came with. Have a couple of these usb cables at home and it exposes the insides easily.

Im still rocking the USB cable from my LG enV 2
So i'm looking at this ad from a kid who wants to sell his One X right. The only problem is, it is not recognized by computers anymore but it can be charged. He clearly says the usb won't work because he rooted it, now surely this can be fixed. I'm thinking of buying it and of course repairing it.
Now my question is, what's the worst that could have happened to the One x that makes the usb unusable?(sofware wise of course)

Is this an actual final state picture of the phone ? It says fastboot usb in red text ! That's a good thing. I think its a pc driver problem. Fastboot usb is only active when the phone is recognized by the pc.

On the other hand maybe he was referring to internal storage? I really want more info out of this guy but on the other hand I dont want him to revoke his offer because maybe he'll think he can repair it himself haha
I personally think its a driver issue. Can be a pain in the ass. But once correct installed it will be fine. Dont hold me responsible

Little update, decided to call him and he said someone is coming over tomorrow night to check the phone out, also that someone is having a one-hour drive to get this phone! Pretty sure this offer slipped through my fingers damnit

i highly dislike usps ordered 3 things and 1 number worked 1 didn't and this ones passed expected delivery day still don't have the connectors yet guys
well got my connectors today in the process of making the first one to try on my moto 360 if success ill start on the other ones and if i manage to sell them all ill buy more connectors but will post pictures and info of it working in half hour or so

well spent few hours messing with it got a cable to work but my pc wont recognize it even with the motorola drivers installed
