Right we all know that the launcher that will be coming with this beast of a phone will be Touchwiz 5. For me though i like to have a variety. So putting this thread together to give you guys a variety of Launchers i found on the market. So rather than having to find them all over the place i will keep everything here in one place and will try and find as many as i can and update the thread with any further updates the developers release for the launchers.

This application has been designed to minimize memory usage and be fast: the more memory you have for your applications, the faster they will run. In other words Lightning Launcher has been built from the ground to preserve your phone's resources and keep it smooth.
In spite of its ridiculously small size (less than 60kb!), Lightning Launcher is packed with a fair amount of features and brings to Android a very unique concept: the home screen can be seen as a giant surface on which you are free to put icons, shortcuts or widgets exactly where YOU WANT, and not limited to a 4x4 grid. But I will certainly give the "new" TouchWiz a fair chance to prove it's worth before installing Go Launcher.
A contender to Go Launcher could very well be TSF Shell that looks just stunning! Awsome UI and the effects are really cool (if you are in to "bling").
Perhaps it's even worth the 12 euros it cost on Google Play!?!?
The good thing with an Android phone is that you can switch as often as you like. When I was at my "peak" I had 5 launchers installed at the same time and switched between them trying to make up my mind!
But, it's a matter of taste.

I loved Go Launcher and used it exclusively on GB. Since I switched to ICS I've been using Apex. Are you using Go Launcher with ICS? It was great, but seemed to use a lot of rescources. Apex seems lighter, if you will.
I'll be interested to seeing how the new TW is.
Im hoping that TSF Shell will be compatible with the S3 when it launches......it has become my favorite launcher.
I know most of u hate tw coz its stock, but I tried many launchers and the best so far is it, the most fluid experience, the same with the camera app, samsung is doing it right ^_^, just my opinion.
I have found there is no launcher smoother than touchwiz but if i had to change it would be nova prime with my own skins.
The new touchwiz doesn't look half as bad as IOS

same here
I went from Go for BG to Apex for ICS on my sgs2. I found that touchwiz had some advantages but they didn't outweigh the benefits of some of the available launchers. To me one of those is the ability to scroll the bottom row which is something I'm surprised Samsung designers didn't "borrow".

I have been using Go Launcher EX since day one with ICS. Perhaps a little bit heavy on resources but "no pain no gain"!

Rosie on the One X is really good mate..if there was an option to make folders in the app screens that would be even better
I'll continue to use Nova Launcher. I use it on my GSII and am more than happy with it.
Right we all know that the launcher that will be coming with this beast of a phone will be Rosie(aka HTC Sense Launcher) . For me though i like to have a variety. Nova is good. But there are so many launchers that people do not even know about they will be gobsmacked if they knew what is out there. Once i get back my phone i will be using SSLauncher. Very unique and very different from the rest out there. and the best thing..it is very lite
Thanks man, looks nice list of launchers. I've only tried apex and nova previously. And also spb shell 3d, which is quite a good launcher also especially when in tablet mode, though a bit pricey.
But for now I'm quite fond of the rosie since it's my first HTC phone so I'd like to enjoy it for the mean time.

dude you not seen nothing yet..loads of launchers on the market that we do not know about. just look at sslauncher. different from what we know. that is just the start up list...searching for more and will update as i go along

if apex gets the level of support behind it as the Go Launcher has then it will be better in my eyes...both are great but yeah apex for me is the one so far
what i don't understand is how an app like go launcher can remain free
where does it generate money? (no adds and all that)

you can replace the icons but you need to download themes first from the market to be able to do that
Im finding a launcher like (Nova - Apex) with a dock text label..
How about Nemus launcher, I really like it.
Apex launcher cant b downloaded.it says its not compatible with ur device even on play store(market and browser).my handset is sgs 2 i9100G

That is the reason, apex only works on ICS/AOSP, not GB.

New update for SPB Shell Launcher..Check OP for what the update does and also check the play store for user reviews regarding the latest update

The update for the spb shell was really nice. Now I only half feel I wasted 15 dollars on something that kinda works. LOL

you welcome mate...i never thought there would be so many..and trust me there is far more as well...already i had to take a few out of post 1 due i ran out of space..might have to get a mod to give me a post or two more

Directions for Xposed Modules:
1. Download Xposed Installer
2. Go into Xposed Installer, then "framework" and press "Install/Update" to install the Xposed framework.... then reboot
3. Download your desired module and push the APK into system/app, set permissions (RW-R-R) and reboot**
**Most Xposed Modules can be found within within the Xposed Installer, just go to Xposed Installer, and click "Download"!
4. Activate the module you downloaded, press "Install/Update" again, then reboot and enjoy
Change Log:
**Press CTRL+F and type in new to see what's new!**
5/5/14- Added 9 new apps (Connection Stabilizer Booster, Essential Calls, FilesChecker, Knockr, MK System Monitor, NOTEify, Rashr, Re-Odxer and Smooth Browser LTD); and added one "Not on XDA" app (Samsung SideSync).

Yes.
Mostly everything that I have tested on Gravity Box DOES in fact work.
Yes, it breaks private mode.
I installed framework and it broke s-health. Not that I care that much.

any good lock screen with good music ui setting? i tired most of them from the list, wasnt a big fan of any of them :L
I use the stock screen with the poweramp widget for music. Not much but I prefer it over a full sized widget or a double lockscreen.

i use spotify so poweramp isn't a option i don't like the slider ring, i like the stock "ripple" one! thank you though

No but only because I don't use S-Health (I actually don't even have it installed lol). Wish there was a fix for Private Mode!
Do all/most of these work on LP? and without xposed since it doesn't work for LP yet. Just curious, i wasn't sure when this was last updated. Nice list!
