Flashing this at lunch time, can hardly wait, soooo glad to see a new ROM for our trusty Hercules, and as per your post in the other thread, you're dedicated to this device and not planning on upgrading anytime soon!!! This is an awesome news for all of us Hercules owners!!!
Suggestions for future release: Chameleon OS App sidebar!!!

Viber crashing when answering call
The Viber app crashes when answering call. This happens in all kitkat flavors of the Hercules. It does not happen on other devices running kitkat. I am not sure if you have the time to look into it. I will be happy to provide more information if needed.
Thanks anyway for giving our Hercules another extention.

Logcats are about the only way anyone could fix the issue. Since he has the device he might be able to reproduce the issue and grab a logcat himself, but it's much easier on him if you just provide one to him.
It's best to provide a logcat with every issue you report. If you don't know how to grab a logcat, Google is your friend.

This ROM looks awesome two things tho where halo))) an if possible could u make a linaro flavor

I just installed this ROM and wow, so far it is buttery smooth! It seems faster than any other KK ROM I have tried for this device.
EDIT: One issue so far, the built in browser force closes. It doesn't really matter because I use Chrome mainly but I thought I would let you know.

ill give this a go soon. Do the kitkat roms still have the netflix playback issues or no?

What page were you trying to access when it FC'd?, I tried a lot of pages and couldn't get browser to FC, try going to Settings > Apps > and on ALL tab click Browser and clear data and cache.

I think the problem seemed to happen when browsing sites with Disqus comments. Like I said, not a big deal as I usually use Chrome anyway. It's not happening now, even before clearing cache and data. So far so good with this ROM! I love the sweep to wake feature as well.

everything work's great except video other than that no problems or fc's or rr , smooth as silk

Looks great! I just have 2 questions. 1 Does it have navbar, and 2 can i disable the softkey backlight? Cheers. :good:

No nav bar, although omniswitch is sorta like a nav bar imo, and yes you can disable key backlights - under Buttons in Settings.

I hate pie, cant stand it tbh. imo its no substitute for navbar. It either wont trigger when you need it to, or it triggers when you dont want it to. Glad to see you back from your recent.... vacation  :highfive:

Well I don't use either personally sometimes I use nav but I like my screen real estate ?

Yeah i usually shrink it down to to like 36. Navbar has gotten alot better with the transparent look and its not that horrible black bar anymore.

P A C man ALL IN 1
Description
After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom. It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the right order.

P A C man FAQ
PIE FAQ
Q. What is PIE?
A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.
Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.
Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.
Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.
Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.
Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.
ROM FAQ
Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.
Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.
Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.
Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. Try a backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.
Q.Can we flash this on Locked Bootloader?
A. No, This requires custom kernel and can never be flashed on locked bootloaders

Yes, that's right! Camera needs to be fixed by fxp-team, think they are missing the drivers for 4.2. When the announced update is released by sony it will cpme quick I think.

Yep, they are working on it to see if they can find a workaround before Sony releases the update. You can follow their progress on the cm-10.1 on the Xperia Z thread.
This was posted by Entropy512 tonight :
"So, camera as of right now (I'm calling it a night at this point...)
It now starts up. Preview works, still pictures work.
However a bunch of issues remain:
Video recording does not work
Flash does not work
Preview freezes after taking a picture until you exit and enter cam app or switch between front/back cams
Camera icon does not appear in launcher (but you can access cam from lockscreen)
Still quite a bit to go, but it's significant progress."
Awesome to see the legends at work!

General Info & Introduction
Android Open Source Project: Or in short AOSP. Android is an open-source software stack created for mobile phones and other devices. The Android Open Source Project (AOSP), led by Google, is tasked with the maintenance and further development of Android. Many device manufacturers have brought to market devices running Android, and they are readibly available around the world.
Rooting: Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user.

I do not have this device so I have not tested this build, there is a chance that you will get sent to fastboot, if you are not comfortable getting into recovery manually please do not try this until someone has been able to confirm. If it does not boot, I have a way to fix the build.
Please download a kernel just in case, this will allow you to boot. If this happens please let me know and I will fix it and re-upload.
Thanks!

I am doing a build with the Furnace kernel, I want to see if that works better. Plus the kernel is not Over Volted so it should run cooler.
You can test this by flashing Furnace and see if it fixes your SoDs.

Will there be D803 support? All it needs is a different kernel. Is there a way to disable the "get prop d802" when flashing so we can flash this on the D803?
Liquid is an awesome rom but like all aosp roms sound is very low if you compare to stock based g2 roms. I use all kinds of mods to increase sound but not as good as stock unfortunately. This rom is awesome for the rest of the rom and one of the best aosp roms around. Hope they gonna pump up the volume in the future.

Yeah, that should be fairly easy, I am getting ready to test a new build (for the vs980) once that is done and I have the same results I am seeing I will start up new builds.
I have used this rom on several devices, nice to see i on G2 also
Guys someone can tell me why on every AOSP Rom I have low Wi Fi speed? On stock I've got like 2-4 time faster transfer, for example near router on stock i've got 50mb on Liquid i've got 25mb. In my room 10m from router on stock I have like 8mb transfer and on aosp 2-3mb. I miss AOSP Roms soooooo much. Can someone help me?

Can you tell me exactly what error you are getting when flashing? On the vs980 using TWRP I have to unmount system after I wipe and before I flash the ROM, I can fix this in the ROM if it is needed. Other than that I would need to know what version of TWRP you are on.
Thanks!

Wow! Downloading, will post review! Thanks for your hard work!
Ok, downloaded, clean install, booted, really like dark theme!
Bug - 1. When enabled bluetooth and disabled --->lost wi-fi, tried to turn it off and on, no luck---->rebooted: got 2 random reboots----->now everything is ok
2. Enabled - disabled bluetooth again, wi-fi ok.
3. Gesture typing don't work----->guess is a cm bug
If i encounter anything else, will report. Keep up the good work!

Just check if sensors work (autorotate/gps) that used to be the difference in basebands
Just installed this rom in my lg d802 and it works fine. Autorotation works for me also. I install render kernel r5 and now it supports viper4android. Hope in your next build you will add navbar and dpi customization. Thanks! @darkobas great work! :good:
Auto rotate works fine. Not had a chance to try GPS yet.
Nav bar mods would be sweet. Really bugs me having back on the left.
Edit: gps and rotation working. Not seen anything wrong with this. Sure it could be the way I use it. But then it could be a great build
Little review from me too, d802 with 20g Italy modem and stock kernel.
Autorotation, wifi, GPS, and Bluetooth streaming working good, no problem with TB app and data restoring.
Navbar height and no led when charging would be useful.
Thanks for your work, I'm going to test battery life and other stuff!

I think it's working nice (in sound and notification you can configure), I'm sure this feature work in crDroid.
Yes you can use Render with this ROM. Sound is like other 5.0 ROMs. It's based on CM so sound is similar. To improve it you can install Viper4Android or/and render kernel and tune sound in synapse app

For now i notice that you can use your Vol+ - for making photos and record vids but i didnt see any other setings for camera on those buttons. You can use them for music for sure. There is even option in set.
After installing Candy Rom today some bugs bringing to Notice.
1)The google bar on homescreen sometimes becomes blank and only bar is seen no google or google voice icon is seen on that bar.(Screenshot attached)

4)Could not get my user profile in notification bar.....Dont kno y.
5)Screen off gestures force closing.
