I have overwritten my original wpa_supplicant by a new one that doens't work,
and YES I didn't backup before !
Since I want to retrieve the original one,
Do I Google such a file specific to my OS version : 2.3.4 ???
or to my phone : Xperia Play R800i ???

I finally figured out how to get around my wifi problem by myself :
Flashtool + new firmware + Root + New ROM
Everything works great now !
My question still stands though:
Does system files relate to the OS or to the Phone model ?
(just by curiosity)

That is what i am also very intersted in as i need to find a WORKING wpa_supplicant to connect my Coby Kyros MID1125 (JB 4.1.1) to adhoc networks.

We have an issue trying to port CM10.2 to our G600 (more specifically U8950-51),
but we have some progress, may be you can point us where to fix or search the solution.
From the rom for G330(URL goo . gl / P5Mkgw ) we can get GSM connection and gps Location, but can't get on WiFi nor Bluetooth, but get boot too many times.
From the rom for G510(URL: goo . gl / p5KCjW) we have the extacly opposite behavior, WiFi and BT work, but can't access GSM platform.
Some says is a baseband issue. May be you can help us to try making a hybrid rom from working mod's, or point us how to take the parts and make our own rom.

hi to everyone, im'm not a developer but maybe this can be useful to someone!
i've passed half day to try to understand why my bluetooth wont start, i've ask to google and i seen that problem is veeeery common..
after this i've read a the log of the app "Bluetooth shares" (Condivisione bluetooth in ita) (putted in attachment) and i've understood the problem...
i dont know if is a problem of my rooted rom or is due to some recent update
BUT
i've edit the /sys/devices/platform/bcm_bt_lpm.0/rfkill/rfkill0/state putting the 0 value to 1 with root browser app (adb push doesnt worked )
AND
now i've my bluetooth remain ON! :laugh:

I'm trying to pair my BT Wristband.
The wristband is showed
after pointing on it, it shows "pairing" for some seconds and then I get the following:
"Pairing mit Power Watch war nicht möglich, weil die eingegebene PIN oder der Schlüssel falsch war"
Means: Pairing is not successfull cause the key or PIN is wrong.
But I am not prompted to key in the PIN.

acore - gapps - google service error

Im a newbie here, and dont have any idea about rom, twrp or flashing etc.
Im here because my P1 had an error.
its been a year, and yesterday there is a notification on the screen "android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly".
Im trying to solve based on gooling solution, and there is no help.
after that, pop up an error message, "error, com.google.process.gapps".
I cant see contact, make a phone call, open gallery or open message/inbox. its simply I cannot use my phone.
its hard to get to application manager, and I cant clear data and clear chache in the application that has a "google" name in it, since I read, somebody suggest it as a step to fix the phone. I also cant delete my google account.
Now, its always pop up that "google play service/store has stopped"
would you suggest me how to fix my phone?
and, is it possible, if i tried to root (i dont know the meaning behind this), change rom/twrp or flashing, to a new-latest one, will help me through this problem?
would you tell me the step by step to do this?
Fyi, details for my P1 are:

android version 4.0.3

Lite and function less ROM for P1

I have 2x P1 hones that I want to use for certain "tasker" automation and for that I am looking fro snappy, feature less ROM. I don't care about battery life or radio - just need WiFi, root, GApps.
There will be no SIM card in it and it will always be hooked to a charger. Perhaps, an overclock kernel so I can make it work a bit faster.

You just tested the GSI rom. I had already tested it before and after the post and went behind bugs solutions and realized by its post that it is the same as mine and basically the same of any Rom GSI in the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, a matter of fixing the 4G already had done this before to set up the own 4G of the ZUI that comes from the factory. I just created the post now that I did not actually find any bug fixes.

Brightness Issue
Hello and thank you for this nice rom... I have a brightness issue... The brightness never goes above 50% even though the slider is at 100%. I know it is not hardware because in TWRP the brightness is normal !
