Has anyone come across a case with just our little android guy on it. Like the Cruzerlite bugdroid curcuit without the circuit. Been looking since I got the phone . And android green would be cool for color too

Anybody seen a Juicepack yet, a case with a extra battery built in like the mophie for iphone. Yeah it makes one x thicker but can live with that for Extra power.

Waiting here too. Just tweeted Mophie and they responded they have no plans Someone will do it!
Looks like powerskin will have them soon. There is already a pic up for the ONE S case. Unfortunately they ignored the dock pins and went for the bulky usb connection again.

Hopefully they really use the POGO Pins on HOX ... this would be the smartest way of doing it ...

1. there seems to be no covers for the speaker grills, camera opening or the earphone plug
2. the screen cover looks like it dulls and is made of thick-ish plastic so it may become difficult to operate the phone
3. I don't have the money to buy 100 pieces of these...
on second thought I think I will just wait for otterbox or bodyglove to come up with something...

Not sure how waterproof that thing is. There is no port cover at all...I think the seller has no idea what they are talking about.

Only option for a "Water Resistent" case is the Pelican 1040 case. Probably not what you are looking for.

If you need waterproof right now there are generic bag cases such as: Random Generic Water Resistant Bag from Amazon. Which should fit our phones with pretty much any standard case on them.
Still looking for an actual fitted case (not pouch) for N5 which is waterproof. Guess will have to wait a while...

I don't think there is reputable manufacturers out there that is interesting in making ANY waterproof case for ANY Nexus device.
If you search, there is not even one for the Nexus 4.... There are tons of em for iOS device..and some make one for S4..but that's it.
how could that thing be waterproof?

Well, the case itself probably is waterproof, but not the phone in it
Ballistic have made 4 cases for the nexus 5 so far. Maybe they have plans to make a version of their Hydra case for the nexus 5 at some point.

Yes!! The beverage bag works miracles and you can still touch the screen lol. Used it plenty of times for my S2.

OverBoard Waterproof Case for LG Nexus 5 just found that it might be a safer option lol
It's interesting that LifeProof is not making case for Nexus 5, given that it is one of the most popular phone beside S4.
I like the LifeProof case because of how it looks and function.. it just a case...not a plastic "bag".

I agree. Even the official LG one blocks it. Honestly, I rather just have the cutout for the LED and not the speaker if they only want one cutout. I'm mostly likely never going to talk on the phone with the cover on anyway. I would just pull it back. The LED cutout would be much more useful.

Has anyone found a QI Wireless Charging case for the Moto X (VZW Dev Edition if that matters). I have a bunch of chargers for my old phone, but I'm back to a mess of wires everywhere now that I have the Moto X. It's the ONLY thing about this phone that I regret.
All that I've seen so far is the Powermat case (that looks quite bulky). I don't know that the phone was popular enough for other companies to jump in. I'm interested to see if the sale changed that, because this is something that could potentially be of use to me as well.
I believe Incipio makes a Qi case for the Moto X.

The Incipio is not a QI case. It is PMA. The QI chargers will not work.

I use my phone way to much around water, mud and oil and I do not want my phone getting messed up.
I know there are rumors of the Atlas case if incipio would ever get their head out of their ass.
Lifeproof created a moto g case, so keep an eye there. I have hope a moto x will follow.

I have a phone case mounted on my kayak. Bought for my moto atrix 4g, but my x fits in it just fine. Ram Mounts Aquabox Pro 20. I've had it underwater before for several minutes, with no leakage.

I'm revisiting this just to share my experience. My phone was in its ram mount case and the boat capsized. After righting the boat, there was some fog inside the case but the phone was working fine. Within an hour it became too hot to touch and bricked. When i applied for a warranty claim i rolled the dice and said no water damage. Luckily, I got a new one for free from moto, no problems.
After that mishap, I started researching cases some more. I'm purchasing an Armor-X universal. Its rated IPX8 which means its certified to work underwater. I'll post again after I've tried it.

yup. drop them in water all you want. they will still work. camera lens can get water in it but that drys out eventually. (camera casing lens i mean)
I bought the Overboard case. It's far from perfect -- basically a hardened, buoyant Ziploc bag with a lanyard and carabiner -- but it does the job.
