[Q] Xperia PLAY keeps rebooting - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After i installed 15-20 apps, and rebooted phone once, my xperia play just keep rebooting, i can only boot it clearly when i enter cwm and clear cache and dalvik cache, but again if i reboot phone, it'll keep rebooting. So I think that the problem is in one of the apps i installed, how can i find which one?
I don't want to delete all apps i installed, just that one that's forcing my phone to reboot.
If anyone can help, please reply.

I uploaded logs, both (catlog and alogcat)
If someone can understand from logs what is causing my phone to keep rebooting constantly, please reply.
I thing that one of the apps is causing my phone to reboot but don't know which one, and i don't have much knowlage to find a solution of my problem from logs :/

Maybe zeam launcher or burst camera

maybe low internal memory?
or, do you have some scripts in init.d?

350 mb free internal memory
i have Liquid_speed for xperia play installed in init.d but that tweak wasn't problem when i installed it 10 days ago.
My problem came yesterday when i downloaded 15 paid apps from internet and installed all of tham.
Seems that i'll need to delete it one by one to find which one i causing my problem

start first with those apps who needs root.
you could make backup of those apps, so you can reinstall them

Deleted all of tham, but still rebooting, in fact i had to reflash rom to fix it :/
now i must install one by one and reboot every time to see which one is causing reboot

Now installed all of tham again, and there is no rebooting, WHO IS CRAZY HERE ?
I hope it won't come back again
 @Bakisha thanks for helping

These miracles happens sometimes :laugh:anyway try to avoid installing many apps on a shoot; install some of them and reboot, then install the remaining apps.

After a day of use, the same thing's happening
again rebooting

Ok, here is the list: (all of tham downloaded from the internet, not google play)
Games:
Farm frenzy 3
Farm frenzy 3 American Pie v1.0
Fifa 12 xperia play optimized
Flappy bird 1.3
Trial xtreme 1,2,3
Virtua Tennis Challange
Dead trigger 1
Six guns
Metal slug 1,2,3
Dead space
Apps:
360 panorama
Clone Yourself
Face Swarp
Fast Burst Camera
FPse for android
Geo camera
igo navigation
RAM manager pro
Smart tools full
Snap camera HDR
Wave control

And one more thing i noticed just now, when i turn on bluetooth my phone reboot immediately

Try with RAM manager pro and Smart tools full first.
After that, camera apps.
What rom and kernel you are using?

I'm using ics hyper gamer with lupus ics v7 720p kernel
i tried to uninstall all of apps i installed earlier, but still the same rebooting...
Maybe some of the apps cache took some place on the phone and that is causing phone to reboot
tomorow i'll try to clean install new rom and see what will happen

I did it, i made clean install of new rom and installed all of my apps again, entered in every app i installed(reason for this is that apps can make its cache) and than i rebooted phone, reboot was ok and there is no constantly rebooting anymore, i can turn on bluetooth now without problems, i'll keep using it to see will it be ok in future 2-3 days.

Even if it's all ok on new rom, you could post in few days or a week, is it rebooting or not.. Just for future reference, if someone else is having problem with same rom and apps...

Of course i'll reply when i test it 2-3-4 days.
I'm still on the same rom (hyper gamer) but now cleanly installed and for now don't have problems

Sometimes a fresh install fixes problems with previous Rom u had let's say first flash something didn't get wiped and then new Rom gets install and there conflicting parts of the rom it would cause reboots or the burstly camera app u had may have been a required app that you had uninstalled

It could even be a problem of the ROM...

Lag on every single rom

Hello!
In last few months I've installed many roms on my wfs. When I install the rom everything is okay. No lags, everything works great. But then in few days rom starts lagging, some of the apps crashes and that is annoying! Got that lags even on stock rom!!
What is the reason of that lags? Can it be fixed somehow?

do u wipe data on ur phone as well as cache??
u shud atleast wipe cache in a week so as to free space.
lagging is caused due to various app activity in background. so free up ur ram and unnecessary apps.
make use of adrenaline engine,v6 supercharger and all stuff.
theres also an app calld pimp my rom.
Do check if its available fo ur device

I have tryed some Sense 2.1 and 3.5 roms, cm9, cm10, cm10.1 mod, paranoid android, roboto mod, speed droid, jelly king, I don't remember any more. Stock kernel
whether you install those mods everytime you install a rom ??? (those on your signature adreno200, link2sd, beats...)
or is this lag persist even you flashed rom only without mods.. ??
Actually it happens with everyone. The problem is apps start to collect the data and the memory gets full bit by bit.
Also you may not realise manu apps automatically run in background. Try some of these tricks which i use to keep the phone healthy.
-Download sd booster and set cache to 1024
-Download ram manager and set the profile to balance and lock launcher in memory
-Integrate the apps you use a lot like whats app into system so as they are a bit faster to run. Remember just crucial coz system has its limit too.
-Download rom manager pro coz it has a great startup manager and jut untick the profiles. Remember only untick those which you don't want to run.
-Keep clearing cache every week.
-Disable all stupid apps from startup.
-Find a good frequency and governer for your phone.
-Uninstall crap apps and stupid system files.
I hope that'd help.

[Q] Freezes and reboots?

Sincs last week my N7100 randomly freezes while using it.
Also, when I activate it (take it out of sleep) I'm asked to enter my SIM-PIN. The phone has been rebooted.
I've been using 'N7100XXDMA6 N7100PHNDMA1' from this site for a while and didn't have any problems.
I think it's being caused by an update of some app or even a newly installed app.
What can/must I do?
Reinstall 'N7100XXDMA6 N7100PHNDMA1'?
Clean install my N7100 (please not )
Find the latest installed apps and remove them (how to find them?)

sure
There hasn't been a reboot yet.
But the phone freezes when trying to open an app, or even de phonebook.
Also my battery is droppen very quick. It has dropped over 60% in 7 hours.
It 'feels' like the phone is busy with something which causes battery and memory drain.

Battery Stats installed and running.
I removed my SIM and micro-SD and rebooted phone.
It seems to be working better.
SD is back in and it's still working.
Could it be caused by a defective SIM?

I thought so, but found out that I'm still rooted.
I had Google restore all my apps and the problems returned.
Went back to 'factory settings' (with root) and am installing my apps from Titanium Backup manually.
I'm skipping the apps I added last month and it seems to work fine for now.
Very strange.
Ok, this didn't work.
No reboots, but sometimes it still freezes.
But, I can reboot the phone by holding the powerbutton now.
I'm going to try and reinstall the phone like it was when it was new.
But, uhm, how can I do that the best way?
Try to flash another kernel, it was work on me from perseus back to stock kernel

[Q] xElite Gamer - Can't install anything, low memory alert

Hi guys,
i came back to Gingerbread from over a year experienced on ICS, why?
Is impossible to play, that's all.
I've tried this rom "xElite Gamer" as many of you suggest, but i've another kind of problem.. some apps cannot be installed!
Not all of them (that's very strange) but only some of them.
Play Store tells me that there's not enought space free to install apps like Facebook or the SwiftKey keyboard but allows me to install apps like ADW.Launcher.
If i try a Titanium Backup restore it restores successfully the SwiftKey but not Facebook.
I've tried by installing them from the APK but unsuccessfully, gave me error on the package.
So.. what's happening?
That's the ROM discussion thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2366002
I'm using the last one with his own Kernel
I've tried by reinstalling the rom, deleting everything, using a full wipe many and many times, nothing changes.

I had this problem some time ago. It's something with partition (i guess) and you are not allowed to install bigger apps than certain size. I had fix from Google Play but sadly i forgot the name of that app. I'll do some research and try find that app.

Hi, thank you!
I've actually solved (10 seconds ago) using Lupus Kernel instead of xElite one, so it confirms my theory about a wrong partition dimension.
I'll try in the next days again, i'll let you know.

Sorry for the missunderstanding
The important thing is that we understand what created the bug and how to fix it, i thing that it was created by a small cache partition (only 2mb) of that kernel instead of the internal memory full size of the lupus cache partition that work as a folder.
On other hand, just to talk, i notice a lot of cpu governor on the lupus that the ExtremeKerned doesn't have, so seems to me that Lupus is still the best choice even in that case.
Thank you all guys for the help provided me :cyclops:

What's going on with my phone? (problems and lag)

I'm desperate. Yesterday I updated my aokp with the last release, and since the phone was a bit laggy I decided to try a clean install, after making a nandroid. Well, after the installation of the rom the phone has become impossible to use: very laggy, I had problems completing the initial wizard and so on. Then I tried to install my previous backup but the phone continued having lag problems.
After another clean install of the rom I had the same issues: reboots on the wizard, difficulties on completing it, lag problems in the drawer, in the home, in the gallery (it won't show my pictures even if there are in the internal memory!), if I install nova launcher the drawer keeps showing the charging icon without actually showing the apps.
What can I do? I'm getting crazy and I didn't do anything different from the other times!

How much is your free memory left on SD card? I mean, even a clean install usually don't touch your storaged files. Actually I'm telling you that because of a lot of people, I've heard, are having some issuses with the internal memory almost full..

Well, that's exactly what you should do in these cases. It seems to be a manufacturer issue. In future, you might try to not pass 2 or 2,5 gb free space left. Or give LG nexus 4 a try
