If you can get into download mode by holding Vol Up and then connecting a USB cable (while the device is off) then this method will work for you.

Thank you @rwilco12 for hosting the download
1. Download the above Zip and extract it to a folder on your Desktop called "LG G2 Stock" (or whatever you prefer to name it).
2. Install LGUnitedMobileDriver from "LG G2 Stock" Folder
3. Install Setup_LGFlashTool from "LG G2 Stock" Folder (You will get a log in error if you try to open it)
4. Extract MegaLock.zip from the "LG G2 Stock" Folder to C:\LG\LGFlashTool and overwrite existing MegaLock.dll file. This gets around the Log in Error you got before when you tried to open it.
6. Put phone in Download mode by holding Volume up for a couple seconds and then plugging the phone in via USB.
7. Go to Windows Start Menu and under "search programs and files" type "device manager" and open it up.
8. Go to Ports (COM & LPT). You should see LGE AndroidNet etc... Right click it and go to Properties > Port Settings > Advanced > Change COM Port Number to COM41 > OK > OK > Close Device Manager
9. You should have a LGFlashTool shortcut on your desktop. Double Click it to open it up.
10. In the Model Config that opens up Select Manual Mode in top left.
11. For DLL browse to "LG G2 Stock" folder and select LGLS980_20130904_LGFLASHv151.dll file
12. For S/W browse to "LG G2 Stock" Folder and select LS980ZV7_01.tot file
13. Hit OK and then click the Yellow Arrow in top left of LG Flash Tool. Wait for it to say "READY!!"
14. Unplug your phone and power it off (it may reboot before you can power it off).
15. Go back into download mode and the stock ROM will start flashing on it's own. It should take no more than 10 minutes. It may stop around 80% but your phone will say 100% and reboot and Presto! Back to stock or unbricked! (Whichever you were trying to do)
:good:
Thanks and I hope this helps!

Woohoo!! Lol you my dude, just saved my backside,lol....GREAT JOB!!!!!!Many Thanks...

You, my dude, are welcome

if can't replace then should be able to edit the OPEN to SPR again
Only the things can work thru SIDELOAD only.
Also need a way to flash the Recovery in LG G2 SPRINT (so as to push or edit the build.prop) that to via SIDELOAD

I'm not sure why you would try that when the original post has the exact same steps explained much more clearly. I woUld refer to OP and maybe try again following STEP BY STEP
As your device is recognized by the flash tool as an LS980 it should work. If you need clarification on how to do a particular step or few then I am glad to assist.

Please Assist..

ASUS P526 ROM Issues

Hi
I have an ASUS P526 and I had a problem of not being able to turn the PHONE function on.
The Communicaton Manager did not have the option to turn on the phone,
and I could not establish a USB connection to my PC via ActiveSync : It said "Cannot open UFN drivers"
I was using Windows Mobile 6.0
So I decided to flash the OS ROM. I downloaded SCHIST ROM v21864_clean and flashed the OS with the flash.dio.nb0 included in the download.
(i.e. I did not extract any flash.dio.nb0 files from my own ROM)
Now, when I turn on the phone, I get the Windows Mobile 6.5 SCHIST ROM 21864 clean screen and cannot log on to windows.
This is probably because I tried to flash an ASUS P526 with ASUS P527 ROM, but I could not find any other ROM to flash with.
When I download the original P526 ROM from the ASUS Website
(e.g. V618_WWE_Turkey_EXT_V158 ), I get a P526.pim file, but PIMSPLIT.EXE does not extract any " *.nb0 " files when I drag P526.pim onto it..
I am totally confused as to what to do at this point..
Please help!
I just want to be able to use Windows Mobile 6.0 , 6.1 or 6.5 with the phone, and be able to use the phone function, as well...
PS: The only way for me to flash the ROM on the phone, is with the SD card method, because ActiveSync does not work.
Hi
Tell me one thing, if you make a Softreset and click the OK button on the left will be in bootloader?
If so something can be done without sd.
The procedure is done using a ROM file.nbo, but first you must unlock the phone ...
Let me know and we'll see
Excuse my English
What do you mean Active Sync does not work? Is it a mechanical problem or a program incompatibility?
Try this: this is Expert mode in installing the Turkey ROM (or any other language).
Warning: Do this at your own risk! If not done right you might brick your phone! I will not be responsible for any damage done to your phone.
1.Make sure battery is fully charged.
2. connect your devide to PC using USB cable.
3. Run the ROM upgrade program you downloaded from ASUS site,
4. On the top bar of the installation window, "right click". A window will appear with the option "Expert Mode". Click on that. A message will appear in the window about connect USB or something (I'm sorry but I cannot remember the exact message since I have not done this in a long time).
5. Now you have to go to bootloader mode in your P526. Do this by pressing and HOLDING on the OK button <rocker switch on the left side> then press reset button <continue hoding down the rocker switch>. Your unit should go to the blue ASUS screen and a message will appear about being in USB mode or cable something <again I'm sorry I cannot remember exact message>.
6. If this appears then press the <Update> button on the installer window. This should start the installation proces.
Hope this helps. if you have any other questions or if this does not work please feel free to post again.
thanks for your good information

Downloading LG Firmware the Simple Way!

I don't see why all this faffing about with proxy grabbers and URL guessing in necessary to get the correct firmware file for your LG phone, there is an easier way...
1. Go to the LG website and find your phone, download the USB drivers and mobile support tool.
2. Install the USB drivers, remove the battery from your phone and note the model number, serial number and IMEI number then replace the battery.
3. Turn on your phone and plug in your USB to the computer and phone and wait for the drivers to install.
4. Click your 'start menu' and select 'Computer', click the 'Tools' menu at the top left of the screen and select 'Folder Options' and then the 'View' tab, put the radio dot in the 'Show hidden files, folders or drives', also remove the check-mark from 'Hide extensions for known file types' and click 'Apply' then 'OK'.
5. Run the mobile support tool 'exe or setup' file, select the emergency firmware recovery thingy and enter your phones I.D from earlier
When the mobile support tool finds your firmware download, click to download it.
6. Immediatly navigate to 'C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone\' where you will find your firmware file in the process of downloading (mine was called 'V10A_00.kdz').
7. Keep an eye on the mobile support tool to see when the download is going to complete, before it does right click on the white background of the 'C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone\' folder and select 'Refresh' to update the firmware files downloaded file size - ideally do this several times during the download process to allow Windows to calculate the file size faster at the end and produce a useable '.KDZ' firmware file before the mobile support tool get's too far into the process of extracting it.
8. Once the mobile support tool changes from the downloading screen to the flashing part grab your firmware file and drag it to the desktop or any other location to copy it, you only have a small amount of time to do this before the mobile support tool extracts the files and deletes the '.KDZ' file so don't worry about scratching your arse just yet!
Just a note, I also copied the extracted '.CAB' file and 'DIAGCommand.xml' files for no real reason!
9. Once Windows has copied it and the 'File Copy' box closes YANK THE USB LEAD OUT OF YOUR PHONE!
If for any reason your computer takes longer than 10 seconds after the download finishes to copy the file then pull your USB lead if you don't want the phone updated and go buy yourself a decent computer!
If you wait any longer than 10 seconds after the download completes you may well brick your phone which I'd like to add I accept NO responsibility for, not even if you follow my method to the letter and still end up bricking your phone I promise you I won't lose a moments sleep over it!
What I can tell you is that the 10 seconds time frame I give is an over safe time frame. In reality your phone will not start to flash any data until it reboots so I suggest having the volume turned up to listen for the USB disconnect / reconnect sound. At the very latest remove the USB cable after the disconnect sound but if you hear the reconnect and the cable is still attached you have 2 choices, 1: Do nothing and have an updated mobile phone or 2: Pull out the USB cable and have no phone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Hope this helps you. Please 'Thank Me' if it does.
sparkyuiop
P.S. You may now want to go back to your Computer/ Tools/ View folder and set them back to default.
thanx

Ahh, guess those are VERY good reasons to use proxys and url sniffers after all, less tragedy

P.S. You may now want to go back to your Computer/ Tools/ View folder and set them back to default.

First off im sorry for quoting op. Im try said method to get a kdz thats not released. As soon as im using old mobile support tool btw. But as soon as dl hits 100 tool attempts to extract it and imeaditly deletes its no 10 seconds. Literally like 1/2 second the goes to error. Long story short. I got a old lg vista frp locked and no available method to bypass i was gonna attempt to update it to a newer firmware to see if ne of the methods work there. The phone was released with kk and not really a antirollback protection. But theres a speci proced to downgrade and i figured if i could get back kk no frp
the method seems to work, so thank you for this solution, i tried a few times until I made it happen, the thing with this is that you can only get recent updates, and in my case I'm looking for an older version of the firmware. hope your post will be usefull to other. thank you.
LG OS downloads
Hey guys, LG has a site for their phone OS's, as well as other devices, DLs... Just Google LG OpenSource Code Distribution. Hope this helps.

Where can I get Stock ROM (Gingerbread or ICS)?

Hi,
just bought the LG Optimus True HD LTE (this is the model name for this phone here in germany) and flashed it with CM10.1.3.
I'm thinking about to sell it again (accu drain, big display) but therefore I want to flash it back to Stock ROM (2.3.6 or 4.0.4). But I don't know where I can get 2.3.6 or 4.0.4 Stock ROM. I already wrote to LG support but no answer so far. Does someon has a download link?

Download the image you want from here
Download this
After that:
1- Place the phone in Download Mode (Turn off phone, then hold volume up while plugging in USB cable)
2-In the KDZ tools folder, install msxml and run B2CAppSetup (Close the application after it has installed)
3-Run Windows Enabler as Administrator, and press the icon in the system tray to activate it. (Windows enabler allows you to click on grayed out options to unlock them in programs. You can then set the option as you normally would.)
4-Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe. You need to set Type to 3GQCT, PhoneMode to CS_EMERGENCY, and point the KDZ file field to V10F_00.kdz or the one you downloaded.
Once these settings are enabled, hit the "Launch Software Update" button.
And there you go, back to stock !!
BTW, v10x are GB and v20x are ICS
Good Luck
Hi danilo96
On my side both links doesn't work. I'm on Google Chrom but even when I use MS Internet Explorer the links doesn't work. Do they work on your side danilo96?

My bad, it's fixed now.
Ok
I have followed these steps
Step 1 OK
Step 2 OK
Step 3 OK
Step 4 KDZ FW_UPD.exe version 1.0.4.4 is not working on my side. But KDZ_FW_UPD.exe version 1.0.54 is working. But the user windows of version 1.0.4.4 doesn't look like the user windows of version 1.0.54. So I don't know how to configure this user window 1.0.54. Can anybody help me?

who one have storage issue here is solution

Now dear friends I will give the solution of problems that occur after unbrick leeco pro3 who has internal storage problem like this
infinite thanks to my Chinese friend Hua found this solution by itself and thanks tora33 from leeco.re and mbtt from forum.one-teams(i use picture from him)
I'm not in charge of the operation to be performed, is designed to assist you in these processes
Charge your mobile phone
1) download : qfil, (that have correct partition) and put in C:/
https://yadi.sk/d/piVn4bpf3MqcHC
2) download : FlashOne1,9 , put in a folder and extract it ,
https://yadi.sk/d/PmVChpqZ3Mj2hz
3) download :fastboot rom
https://yadi.sk/d/uzdwFhie3MqcJs
4)download qq driver
https://yadi.sk/d/U4SIDH3B3Mixsh
run "FlashOne1,9"
How to qfil Flash
When select qfil flash type, press power key, volume up and volume down key at the same time, then the phone enter into qfil mode, connect USB cable with PC, wait for PC install driver automatically, then press ‘Refresh’ button on the tool, serial port will display on UI, select the port you want to flash, and make sure there is no other qcom device connected.
Select corresponding flash zip file, the path of zip file should not contain Chinese and special character. (Under qfil mode, the tool can’t get hardware information, you should check if the software and hardware is matching yourself.)
Press ‘Flash’ button, then start to unzip flash zip file to current folder, but if there is already a corresponding unzip file existing, ‘Decompression folder is exist, re-decompress or not?’ dialog will pop up, if select yes, will re-decompress, else not. After unzip finished, start to flash the phone automatically, and the progress bar display flashing progress(for me the bar not move stuck %1 i did wait 15minute then unplug phone and push power button long time, and at the same time, the flashing log will also be shown on UI.
After flash complete or error happened, a notification dialog will pop up.
after phone start go boot logo and wait by the way open fastboot rom and push le_zl1_fastboot
everyting go fine u get 24gb for 32gb phone and 54gb for 64gb phone
good luck i hope help you
Thanks

But I already have 24GB out of 32GB , but still have storage issues when using the phone. APps and services randomly crash unable to fully use phone.
I guess I do not need this then, must be some other issue?

This issue is only for those who are missing storage.
If you have another storage problem, look for another solution.
Storage Problem LeEco Le Pro 3 X720 - 4 GB/32 GB
I followed instructions but it didn't work.
What can I do in order to increase storage to 24 GB?
qfil mode error
Is it for restoring the original storge capacity for Le Pro 3? The reason why I'm asking this is becuase I am currently stuck on qufil rom because it keeps making error everytime I tried to go to the launcher. Will it work on my circumstance?
