Can you give the link for the system dump? And do you think the device will have wallpapers? I think with the area covered in the homescreen, the device will only have themes or wallpapers for the lockscreen.

I have not seen the dump or anything.. but the wallpapers are not in /system/customize/resource like on other android devices?
Nokia X doesn't use wallpapers. The launcher screen has a black background and the tiles cover the screen. The wallpaper posted on here is the Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD) wallpaper. In the end, it looks like Nokia didn't ACTUALLY use AOSP, but instead used Qualcomm's Reference Android and then themed it.

You mean first load ? You should change boot.img (kernel). If you're talking about boot animation at system load you should root first then activate boot animation support finally put a boot animation to /system/media

Although it is beautiful, in Nokia X the is not an option to change the wallpaper I think, that sucks

I think you can change the lockscreen wallpaper, but if you really want to have a *proper* home screen and wallpaper ra3al's Xperia Home should work fine, at least on the SDK when I mucked around with it.

As some of you have already asked for replacements for the Windows Mobile splash screens, I decided to make a couple.
To install these:
Download the NBH file by clicking the link below the image.
Copy the NBH to SD card, Rename to KAISimg.nbh, Flash by powering on while holding down camera button, same as flashing to nand.
These splash screens will not alter your nand flashed Android in any way, they simply replace the old splash screen.

I actually made the K S and E myself using gimp. Searched high and low for the actual font but its not released. I thought about changing the S and E to fit the rest of the font better but haven't got around to it.
Did wonder about that, been searching all over the place for that font, lol, but since it's not supposed to be used on anything other than official google andoid logos, I'll just have to use what I have

You can add the wallpaper and boot screen through adb or terminal... You can flash the splash screen through fastboot. Read up on it first before you rush into, but the files should the be the exact same.

Im currently working on the port of RA's (randumaccess) Umbrella Corporate Phone theme that was originally made for the rc33 roms. Since you have created your own version of RE, I wouldn't mind merging the original with your updated version. I have almost completed a version for CM6. Working on a new launcher.apk, since the original changed since 1.6 roms. Let me know if your interested...

Unfortunately, the MetaMorph isn't mine. :-/ ...Alls I did was make the boot animation and splash image. as far as the theme and colors go, I used someone elses metamorph, tweaked the colors and saved the file for everyone else to use.
So, needless to say, I can not give permission for the morph, as it's not mine...but if anything else needs to be used elsewhere, have at at! I DO NOT stand in the way of progress.
Is this good to use for the HTC desire?

I use Animation Shop to convert them to gif and GIFFrame to extract the individual frames

edit : I extracted the files, all look fine. repacked your zip file with compression method "STORE" and it all works fine, plays a little slow but works just play with the value in desc.txt to get the speed you want

Using 7zip, in "Add to archive" I chose ZIP then STORE.
What app do you use to create the zip file?

use an application like Root explorer to simply paste the bootanimation.zip in your /system/media folder
AND to change your boot screen (the picture before your boot anim)
use SGS2 BootScreen Changer by Hellcat
to make the picture below your boot screen
(you might have to crop it using the same tool above)

Im new here so im sorry if there is thread like this somewhere , i dont want to spam the forum i just couldnt find anything that would help me .
Well the thing is ive got bored of my standard LG G3 , and i want to customize it a little bit.
My G3 is not rooted , as i never done it before to any of my phones , i was always scared i could mess something up and brake it . so im new to all this stuff.
I know i can always use popular launchers from the store , but i dont trust them i always through they slow my phone down , and its not right to use it .
So my question is are there any ways of customing my G3 without rooting /launcher or do i need to Man up And Root my phone ? (can someone please explain to me , whats the most common reasons people root their phones?) .

Simply no because in stock rom we don't have theme manager like in CM or other custom ROM. So for customize or change looks of stock rom you have to be rooted so that you can change default apk with themed one (some available themes you have in theme section).
G4 theme for g3 stock launcher.
Zooper widget pro + G4 theme.

Untrue. As shown in previous posts, there are some themes available without root, on the Play Store, and even on LG's Smartworld app. I'm actually using an theme app from LG's Smartworld. Have a look and see what you may like on there. (many good themes on there but, I found a nice one.) If you want the one I have, it's called Night Sky. I use it for the icons.
