Juste dowload the 2.20.0 apk : http://apkupdate.miui.com/mihome/MiHome2_2_20_0_100_1_android.apk and install it like normal apk
The grid size should be 5x5, it's perfect for the nexus 7.
Now install the Xposed Module App Settings : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081,
and change the dpi of mihome launcher to 230, and don't forget to use this icon pack for fix icons problem : www.miuiappthemes.com/miroexv5/download/MIUIv5_MiroEx_v2.4.0_MiuiV5.mtz
EDIT : If you want you can skip the app settings tweak, but the icons will be small

A completely unrelated question if I may...
How did you manage to get the working upload/download arrows to the wifi icon on the statusbar?
I have the sense 6 statusbar icons (by modifying the PNGs of systemUI.apk) including the wifi icon, but as far as I know, sense 5 doesn't have the option for the arrows.

In the Rondo app it shows quite a few available:
There's no option to apply them in the app itself however.

EDIT: Can be changed easily with Nova Launcher but can't seem to figure out how with Trebuchet.
I think trebuchet don't allow to change it. Nova Launcher is way better so I would recommend to you to swith to Nova and than set new app drawer icon.
