Hi Guys,
I made a 2 part video tutorial on rooting the htc one x
1. Unlock the Bootloader
2. Flash ClockworkMod Recovery and SuperUser

You use the video ID instead of the full link:
http:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIeq8Jx28cs
http:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=80lMHUgxwww
It should look like this:
]YOUTUBE]gIeq8Jx28cs[/YOUTUBE[
]YOUTUBE]80lMHUgxwww[/YOUTUBE[
(I inverted the first and last brackets so it would show like this)

fat the moment, surfing on the internet I read that the only way is to buy on Ebay for the unlock code to use different SIM!

i have need your help please

just use the taco root method and the revolutionary s-off method. with s-off you can use any sim card on it without needing an unlock code. i can confirm that both at&t and t-mobile sim cards will work even though t-mobile has no service where i live but at&t does

If you are wanting to use it on straight talk however you will need to have the flash kit and i believe you can flash it without even being s-off

the power button placement is very akward on this device ...
so i think it will be a great help if we have a knock to lock and unlock feature for htc desire 816...

I'm using Gravity screen by Plexnor available in PlayStore. (Sry can't post link)
So i don't even have to knock Work's quite well.

Were you able to get the LTE working? I am on cricket and same not getting LTE.
