Plz we need more roms for Huawei Ascend Mate .Its been so long since i seen new rom for Mate .And the old roms are not even updated anymore. It would be cool if we could have a CyanogenMod 11 weekly or even daily would be even better updates .Or 4.2.2 roms -4.4.2 i seen Kit Kat has even better proccesor speeds and battery improvements for Mate.

Hi all, I just arrived from noob land
Didn't know where else to plonk this since I must be the only one in the world who has bothered to consider this...
Anyway to the point:
I have the Huawei Ascend P1 currently on B336 (Jellybean 4.1.1 and EMUI 1.5) meant for this device. Now I want to know if it is possible to stick official P6 firmware on here since this baby has more than enough juice for most things. I really just want Jellybean 4.2.2 and EMUI 1.6 since I've played with my father's P6 and seen how glorious it is. I would just take the firmware from the G510 since it is more similar in hardware to my device, but there is no firmware to take (Huawei needs to make an update for it so I can steal it )
My sister has a G510, but I highly, incredibly, most certainly doubt there is a snowball's chance in Hell that I can somehow clone it to my device to get at it's EMUI 1.6
Think it's possible and will work? Cos I don't know if the P6 firmware is optimised for quad core and 2GB RAM devices...

I haven't seen an official Kitkat update for the P6-U06 - International Edition (i have the B113, JB 4.2.2 version).
As Huawei seems that it doesn't care about it, i want to update mi stock ROM to a fully functional Kitkat custom ROM.
Which ones are the most recommended???
I've seen versions B5XX, to miui, etc, but with huawei, i haven't worked with updates (i had a samsung cellphone, then an LG G, with which i didn't have problems finding the best ROMs), so i need a little help here.

B510, B511 and B512 are Official International KitKat Updates.
Yep i think there is also an B513 by now
But if you want a custom Rom, there is CyanogenMod 11 (newly arrived!), Paranoid Android and OmniRom
In my opinion CM11 and PA are the best
i'm a little impatient actually , since 4.6 beta 5 was the best rom i have ever used on my s4 .
would like to know around when can we expect 5.0 lollipop on the i9505 jflte ??
We don't officially support that device. You would need to keep an eye on the legacy community for an update. Asking for an ETA is really not going to get you an answer either.

I want to know if i can install a custom rom to upgrade my ascend to emui 3.0 with kitkat or lollipop, i dont know much about roms version....
And most important, i dont know how to install a new rom on the ascend mate...

Hi you can usw the PAC man rom 6.0 its a good romm with peerformence and has a good batters life. You can usw the cm 12.1 is good too for 5.1.1

I have the same doubt of the owner of the topic, I have an i9082l here waiting for a customized rom, but I have no idea which is the best.

Try kitkat based ROM , they might be quite old but they have great performance , you can also try CM 12.1 by pawitp .
ROM on nougat would be very laggy , I dont recommend using them.
From my opinion, best ROM for grand duos I9082 is lineage os13.. I m using greenify for performance and battery..:good:
