[Q] Years and days counted from your birth date - Zooper Widget General

Hi, I've just purchased Zooper Pro and cannot find an example that gives me the years and days accumulated since arriving on this Planet
Any example to the solution would be very helpful thanks
I understand it's a simple task but am unfamiliar with how Zooper works

While something like that should be possible with Zooper, there is currently a bug related to this that makes it impossible to use the included variables to do what you want. The only thing that currently works is the total days since your birthday, which would be #D<year><month><day>0000Td#.

Thank you

Yeah, I have the string that was suggested to me from the Help thread, which comes close, but the days are way off: my birthday is in August, and it changed over in late February. But it just gives me a (roughly) accurate year count.
$(int(#D199901010000Td#/365.25))$ gives you the number of years, to about six month accuracy it seems.

The problem here is that you're using INT which rounds so at six months it is rounding up. Replace INT with FLOOR and it is accurate.

can flashing to many roms kill your evo?

i dont mean to be a noob. but i was wondering can flashing to many roms in one sitting kill your evo? ie one after another in the span of 5 minutes.
any tips would be much thanked.

Short answer: No.
Technically NAND has only so many writes but your phone is constantly writing.
I have a feeling there'd be a lot of dead EVOs around here if that were the case.
i was just wondering.

Could you elaborate on this? NAND limited or something?
i posted this a couple months ago, but still seems fit.
from my understanding, flash memory starts to deteriorate after 45,000 wipes. Simple math states:
1 year on evo = 123 flashes per day
2 years on evo = 61 flashes per day
3 years on evo = 43 flashes per day
4 years on evo = 31 flashes per day
5 years on evo = 25 flashes per day
... and you notice a regressive curve, eventually equaling 1 flash per day ~123 years.
i would start to be concerned around years 60-80 taking hardware deterioration into account.
however, if you save 1 penny per day (assuming cost of phone is $500 excluding rebates) it will take 137 years to purchase a new phone
saving $10/day will take 50 days, but is similar to the monthly cost of a new car (excluding down payment, tax and tags) which should only account for 8% of your monthly income which would equal $3800/month or an annual income of $45,600/year
recommendation: buy a new phone within the next 4 years
and my power button just cracked

SiriusXM App

Is really cool.
Thought I would post this here since the inc2 is my current phone. Not sure if it has been discussed yet.
I downloaded the siriusxm app about a month and a half ago. I sign up for the one week free trials alot whenever there is a special broadcast that I want to hear using my emails or a disposable email through 10 minute mail. I have mainly used it on my pc where the trial expires after a week.
Well last time I signed up I did it through the free trial button on the app itself. After 1 week I got a popup that said your trial has expired click here to subscribe. So instead of hitting ok I hit the back arrow to exit the app. I opened the app again and it has been working for almost 2 months now nonstop. I play it all day at work for 8+ hours and I use the same login on multiple devices (droid inc1 and 2, 2 droid eris and an acer iconia a500 tablet) No popups or problems at all.
Just thought Id share.
It not a hack or a mod really just a glitch in the app so I figured it would be cool to share my experience. i have told about 10 people so far who are all really thankful and enjoying it while they can.
Awesome. I love it in my car but didn't want to pay thw extra for the phone. I will have to try.

also does anyone know how the app identifies a user as having used the trial or not? is it by email address, rom, android phone id, phone number, meid? it would be nice to know so that it can easily be modified or spoofed. i already pay for this **** in my car. i dont get why i gotta pay for it again to hear it at home..
I just downloaded the app from the play store
as stated above I use it on multiple devices
2 droid eris phones
1 droid inc
1 droid inc2 and
my acer a500 iconia tab
as well as my netbook and pc
all on the same free trial that I used 10 minute mail for a disposable email address
singed up using my first name and only last initial
it has now been working for over a month and a half after my free trial was suppossed to end on all my devices
I have told lots of people about it and it is the same outcome for them as well.
Just thought I'd share my story.
Although 1 coworker said it worked on her computer and android phone but not on her ipod. HA!!!

Something Smells Fishy

Does this seem like a simple mistake from when my phone was produced from the factory in China or Korea, where ever our phones where made. Or does it sound like an employee from T Mobile did, for whatever reason.
So I purchased my Note 2 from T Mobile last Friday. While loving the phone for the first couple days. I finnaly pulled my S pen out for the second or third time. And ever since I put it back inin, I noticed a simple tap on the back of phone. The S pen would just fall out. One time it even went in sideways, so turned 90 degrees then it should be. And had a tough time getting out.
When getting the box ready to exchange for new at T mobile. I looked at the s pen on the box, then looked at mine. And its not even the same S pen. I'm guessing the one I had was from the Note 1.
I just found this really odd. And there's no way mine got swapped with one from note 1, cause I don't even no anyone who owns the first note. Actually I've never even seen one. And no one I no has the note 2 either. And I haven't had anyway touch or hold my phone. Especially with all these posts of everyone cracking there screen lol.
So I don't no what to think about this. Just think its really weired. Has this happen to anyone else?

The Note 1's S-pen is round. Unlike the N2's pen which has a 'flat' side to it.
Pics would help a lot here OP. Because right now you sound like a crazy person. Just take a pic of the pen. Upload to imgur or upload it on here.

Actually I did wait days before using the s pen. I didn't buy the note for that. I bought it for the multi screen. Which is why I rooted day 1 and after playing with all the settings I got to the s pen last.
The only reason I new it was the wrong s pen. Is because the logo was on the side but on the box its not.
I already exchanged for a new one. But my new s pen can only be inserted one way. The other one could twist around while 3/4 in

I have no idea whether or not Samsung makes two different models of the s-pen. It seems unlikely that they would, given that the phone has only been out since the last of September/first of October. The only logical reason that I can think of for them to redesign something that they'd already gone to market with would be if there were something functionally wrong with the original device. Nowhere online do I see any indication that they've made such a change. I got my GN2 on October 29th, which would be several weeks before your stated purchase date (according to your initial post, you purchased yours on "last Friday" and that post is dated November 30, so that would put your purchase date on November 23), and my pen design matches those in all of the ads and all of the photos I've been able to locate online (for a few examples, look here). However, with that said, I suppose that it is possible that Samsung has redesigned the s-pen and is now including a different pen with their phones.
As an aside, you might want to begin proofreading your posts for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors before posting. Well written messages lend credence to your posts, whereas poorly written messages can call the veracity of your message into question.
Good luck with your new GN2 and s-pen. It's a great device and I'm enjoying mine more and more as time goes by and as I learn more about it. As a matter of fact, I ran across an article this morning that taught me even more about this great phone. It's a couple of months old, but there is still meat there for the taking. Need Help with a String

Hey everyone i'm trying to write out a string but i'm getting the wrong value returned and I don't know why. I want to have a rectangle change colors if the first event day of month, second event day of month, and third event day of month are the same AND the first event day of month is today. Right now my string is:
[c]$#C0Sd#=#C1Sd#&&#C1Sd#=C2Sd#&&#C0Sd#=#Dd#?#4affffff:#00ffffff$[/c]
and i'm getting [c]#00ffffff[/c] even though all of the event days are the same and the first event day of the month is today. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like there is a little syntax error:
[c]$#C0Sd#==#C1Sd#&&#C1Sd#==C2Sd#&&#C0Sd#==#Dd#?#4affffff:#00ffffff$[/c]
What you were doing was stating #C0Sd# EQUALS #C1Sd# not asking -- IF #C0Sd# EQUALS #C1Sd#
A single = means this is going to equal that
A double = means does this equal that
If you want it to NOT equal then != or less than equal to <= etc...
Now, here is the other thing... If you are trying to use the [c] COLOR in markup text, then it is [c=#00ffffff]Your text[/c]
Let me know if that is what your looking for, I tried to duplicate it on mine, but it just shows #00ffffff
Good Luck

Does anyone know when this watch is going to be released? I read somewhere that it might get released at the end of September, but on here it's showing November 2014.

It depends if you mean the US or Europe. Based on this video taken by CNET France, it looks like it's set for early to mid December, but the video said nothing about differing prices overseas, so based on the fact that most watches are being globally released at the same time, it's safe to assume that the date in the video is for both regions.
Also, the video lists the complete specifications which were on display. (Link to specific time here).
Apparently it has a 369 mAh battery. Not the top of the line, but not nearly the lowest, either. considering it has an AMOLED display, the battery life will be severely determined by how much of the screen is covered with completely black pixels. A proper watch face theme to compliment this will greatly increase battery life, as AMOLED means that all black pixels are actually not being powered. The results in the dark are also quite stunningly delicious to look at, by the way. (I own a Moto X that has a AMOLED display. The max hours I've had it running with a set of 400+ apps installed (including system) was 41 hours.
This, of course, took a bit of tweaking with some root apps... but considering the smartwatches don't have much running on them and the feature set on them are dependent on what apps are installed on your phone, rooting will most likely never be necessary for them.
I was speaking in terms of North American release date. Being that I'm in Canada, I'll probably get screwed on the launch date here, usually happens that way.
I heard for release date was to try before Christmas. As they have said try may end up being 2015. Hope it soon this is the one watch I'm looking forward to

I have a Pebble currently, and it's really nice, love the 5-7 day battery life on it. But I want something a little classier, and for a little more than the Pebble Steel I can get this watch.
I think it's really stupid that Samsung and Apple released watches that only work with their phones. Completely cuts off a lot of potential users. Glad Asus didn't do that.

I wouldn't hold your breath – looks like only 300 are to be released and maybe only in Taiwan!

I find this highly unlikely. Why would they do a large public unveiling, only to make 300 devices?

I spent 3 1/2 hours today driving and calling one Best Buy after another before someone actually was helpful enough to look into it more deeply and tell me that not only did they not have it, they never received any and in fact, no Best Buy store in Southern California had received or sold any.
Went to T-Mobile and bought the Samsung Gear S.
I went to 3 different best buys. nobody had it. i went and bought a casio g-shock instead.
Good job Asus
Getting worse by the minute. Now it's in best buy's system, but they've upped the price to 229.00

still not available anywhere, but you can spend more than they said to not have it now at least. I'll pass. There are plenty of good alternative options, and more in the pipeline.
