Tapatalk problem - About xda-developers.com

Hello friends, I new in the forum and a don't know if this is a error but, when I want write a answer in a post, a push notification said: you have a problem with the server. If the problem persist, contact with the administrator.
In the computer, wrote in a post of development and a page said: you don't write in a development area because...(I don't remember); but in Tapatalk I wrote in a general forum. What is the problem?

You can first try to write a post in that forum using the website to make sure you have access to the forum. If you still have a problem posting via the app, it would be helpful to see a logcat log of the error message so that we can track it down.

Usually it means that either you are posting too often because of your new user status, or you haven't enough posts to be in development.

After checking your account, it would appear that you haven't enough posts to post in development. The minimum is usually 10. You need to post more in general and such, and I don't suggest spamming or posting nonsense.

Try posting again - I have updated the version of tapatalk plugin on our server and this may have fixed this issue.

Today I've noticed that when I quote someone's post, instead of displaying who it was posted by and a link to their post as well as the text, I'm only seeing the text.
Is this update the reason for that or is it something else?

Um mmmmm..... You just replied!
If you're trying to reply to a thread in a development forum, it's because you cannot do so until you have 10 posts.

See the new user guide in my sig, the best place to 'collect' your 10 posts is by answering questions in your device's Q&A section. You shouldn't find that difficult at all if you have something to post in a dev forum. Any 10 post spam will almost always get reported so there's no point trying to make useless OT posts just to get there.

[Q] Liquidsmooth Camera Features

Just a quick 2 questions.
When I upgraded to LiquidSmooth (which is a great ROM), It had a different camera than what Im used to. I did a search and could not find it, but is there a "how to" on all the new features? Some are self explanatory, but others are not so cut and dry.
Also, I didn't see it, but the thing I miss is the anti-shake feature. Is there something similar that Im missing?
Thanks in advance.
Since you only have one post and can't post in the thread itself for LiquidSmooth, I linked your thread and asked the users there to see if someone can help you out. Good luck.

what is the best xda app on google play?

Hi,
I checked on Google play there is many XDA application to be connected on this forum. But what is the best or at least the official one.
Thank.
I personally prefer Tapatalk PRO. It's a good way to support the developers and has a good ui.
Just my 2 cents.

There is the official XDA app. Then there is Tapatalk which allows you to connect to more fora like the XDA app does.

What we're trying to say, really, is that it's all a matter of preference. Use Tapatalk if you want to connect to more forums, use the XDA app if you want to just browse here, and buy the pro version of either to support the developers and the app.

I use the xda app the most, I like the way it works and is very convenient and user friendly
I like Tapatalk because if you are on or need multiple forums for your device then you can quickly access it. XDA however has the most knowledgeable people and I'm on my third smartphone which always lasts me a few years

Tapatalk not loading correctly XDA

Hello, in the last days, I can't obtain to get Tapatalk working correctly with XDA.
It loads all, but not sub-forums section, so I have to search for every topic I want through advanced research, and it's not so good...
Am I the only?

It's not only you...
There's a server issue that a good portion of members are experiencing via one or more of the Tapatalk, Tapatalk Based (like the app that I'm using that's based off from) and the Labs App's.
I've seen a few posts reflecting that this has been submitted to the XDA "Geek Squad" Guys already.
Just be patient since they have been working on the server to recover from a DDOS attack recently. It just takes time.

No apologies necessary...
When I've got App issues, i just wait a while and, typically, you'll end up seeing issues being reported within areas like the XDA Labs App and even somewhere on the Tapatalk Forum.
It never hurts to ask about it... we can just keep our fingers crossed for a fix soon.

Seems fine now, but really laggy and some threads just refuse to load.
This is strange though. Tapatalk isn't in real time, so the requests from xda are "funnelled" like buffering works for video streaming so what's up with that? (redundant question haha)
For me it still doesn't work, i cannot load XDA forums with Tapatalk. Tried with both normal and Pro version.

I had reported the issues on the Tapatalk Support Forum and was made aware of some server work being done by @MikeChannon as well.
This is now in the hands of either/or the Tapatalk Admins, @bitpushr and @svetius...
I, personally, did what I could to notify those who (i believe) should be notified and anything further (from myself) would just be unprofessional and I also just don't want to go Rubbing/Irritating those who can turn around and do the same thing back at me... LMAO!
I'm just hoping that it gets worked out for everyone in the end.

It appears that the Tapatalk Server is up and running again.
The device listing seems to have just loaded up for me and I'm hoping that it's good to go (at least till the next time).
I'm going to give it at least a few days before resuming development for The ClaRetoX Forum App (and another potential Forum App as well).

Tapatalk subscribing to random XDA forums
I have about a dozen subscribed XDA device forums and starting tonight I'm all of a sudden finding I'm being automatically subscribed to random device forums. I delete them and within a few minutes they're back along with more. All push notifications are off. I had to delete XDA from Tapatalk and resort to the XDA app which is working ok. I haven't had any problems with Tapatalk in a long time.

So do I
I have the same issue, one minute is working then the next one it's not. I guess XDA is limiting their bandwidth with Tapatalk. Maybe I'm wrong.
Yep having major issues with Tapatalk pro and xda for the last few days. Network error or just continuous spinning of the wheel. Any updates?

Using XDA app is a solution for now, hope Tapatalk will work again sometime soon.

Since this last Saturday afternoon(ish) I had also noticed a Tapatalk issue slowly getting worse to the point of, today, not able to access XDA at all.
I had first reached out (again) to the Tapatalk Tech Admins who, eventually, got back to me. They had done what my children used to do... Point the finger to someone else (specifically being XDA).
Yesterday, being a Sunday, I had provided all this information to @bitpushr (I'm sure he was happy to know that they pointed to XDA).
I'm going to just be patient and give it some time. We don't know how bad the issue is or how much work is needed to get things straightened out.
Let's keep our fingers crossed!
