[Q] Install Custom Font Via Apk Font - LG Optimus G Pro

Dear, all
Can someone post a guide/tutorial how to install custom font on our lovely LG Optimus G Pro? I don't want to use "push to system/font" method. . When i was using Galaxy S3 mini, i can create a custom .apk font (Flip Font) file via decompile/recompile other .apk font. But when i install those .apk font to OGP, the font doesn't show up on display setting.
So, please anybody can help? Thanks

Not sure if you're rooted or not, but have you tried RomToolbox? I use it to install my fonts, and it works great. The only time I haven't seen it work is when I try to install a "bold type" font. Other than that, it has worked for every font I have used.

It won't work on kit Kat. Rom tool box I mean. If you want some flashable fonts, there's a thread somewhere on here that I made. Either in general or Q&A. Someone posted a link and now I got hella fonts. I'd you're on 4.4x that is

I'm using KitKat.. Beanstalk 4.4 (latest one).. RomToolbox replaces the fonts on it.. I tried Carbon and a few other roms, and RoTB only replaced some of the fonts.. I rem the fonts you shared with me @Nigglenuts.. Those are great, and I'm sure the OP will find one he likes..

Go to you SystemUi.apk (in system/app folder), copy it to your PC.
Open it with rar or with zip7.
You will get acess to the res/drawable-hdpi folder.
Unrar or unzip this folder to your desktop. In it are all the icons that you wanna change... change them as you like... Put the folder back on the apk using the same rar or zip7.
Now - finally - you will have to resign the apk again (search how, 1st time it´s hard to get it right).
Push it back to the phone, backup the original as systemui.bak, and write this one over it.
Install it, reboot.... enjoy
Thanks me 10x if I helped .

Edit:
I meant to ask if you tried UOT kitchen??
http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
Its easy to use but if you get stuck just ask.
Even simpler, use the theme kitchen.
http://uot.dakra.lt/
You can even use it for odexed (stock) roms.
Thank you guys.
I will try the online tool.
I would like to press the thanks button but can't find the thanks button in the app and even in browser

There is actually an app called NinjaMorph that you can get from the play store, its what I used for my S2 to changed some icons and you can do it all on your phone, the app will unzip then zip the apk automatically, all you have to do is pick the PNG your replacing the old one with, make sure you got the new PNG in your phones SD card that's all.

[Q] ROM Toolbox Font Installer

I used the Font Installer on ROM toolbox to change the font on my GS3, but only some of the fonts changed. Could someone tell me why? Or tell me how I can apply the font to the entire phone?

Make sure you're on a deodexed ROM.
Most people with GS3 and ROM Toolbox eventually run into issues or boot loops down the road.
I wouldn't suggest using that app.

It's the MOAR ROM - I believe it's deodexed. Anyway, I just changed the font from the settings menu and it applied to the whole phone.
But what kind of issues do people run into?
You found a solution. If you aren't having any other issues and its working, I say stick with it and keep using what works.

How To Change Font on 4.4.2

Hi my friend. How i can to chnge fonts on android. 4.4.2 with i have download font with format .ttf . I'm on KitKat-X. thanks.

If you are using android 4.4.2 means obviously you are on CM rom. So, if you want change fonts on this Custom Roms like AOSP or AOKP and others then download the app from below link. It provides you number of paid as well as free fonts. it also provides changing features like styles, icon packs,Attached a screenshot of it.

Installing custom font

Hi
I am trying to install a custom Rom (so that it would render sinhala)
I copied the ttf file to system/fonts and added the entries to fallback fonts xml as well. This method worked well in kitkat roms. How ever after upgrading to lollipop with revolution HD ROM this no longer works.
Has anything changed in lollipop on how custom fonts are added?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the help. However I was unable to find "Sinhala" font with an APK. Good news is I was able to solve the issue. Lollipop has changed the default fallback_font.xml and there's a new file called fonts.xml. I was able to render Sinhala fonts perfectly after modifying both fallback_fonts.xml and fonts.xml.
Thanks again for your time.

Hi, That's great news.
This is a very frustrating thing on HTC for me. I had an LG G2 before and never had a problem rendering other character sets.
My M8 is not rooted. Could you explain in steps how you solved this please?

Question Anyone know how to install the Google Product Sans Font?

I have the TTF file but zFont doesn’t work for this phone.
It's old, but I've been successfully using this app across devices for quite some time.
