[APP] CBT Keeper (for depression and anxiety). Free premium app for feedback! - Testing

Hi Everyone, long-time lurker, first-time developer here. I'm a medical student that got a little frustrated with the lack of good mental health apps, and so I decided to take a stab at writing my own. CBT Keeper is my very first app--and actually my very first public programming project. I tried to keep it very simple with a minimalist, holo-inspired design, but I'm a total amateur so who knows what that actually means . I'd be interested in hearing your feedback on the design, user-interface, and concept.
Since I've gained so much from the XDA community, I'd like to offer a free upgrade to the premium edition for anyone who gives me feedback, either on this forum or through a PM. I built a little back door into the app that allows it to be unlocked without a fee, and I'd be happy to pass that on to anyone who helps.
I'm not looking for free 5-star reviews, I would just appreciate some honest opinions outside the Play Store before making a big marketing push.
Here's the link to the app on Google Play: http://bit.ly/1cEB6Qn
Thanks in advance for your help! You guys are the best!

Just a quick "Hello" and "Thanks"

Hi - I've been a frequent visitor to this site for a couple years, and created an account about a year ago, but never posted anything until today.
The first thing I want to say is a big, fat, THANK YOU to the site owners, the developers who provide these incredible apps, and my fellow members, whose knowledge & information has been invaluable.
Thanks to all of you, I learned about SERO, which, of course, makes my phone bill quite manageable at $30/month. You've also shown me how to make my phones work the way I want them to work, and look the way I want them to look; as someone who "needs" to customize everything, I'm eternally grateful for that!
I'm a Technology Specialist by trade, and a part of my job is to help people use the technology available to them (computers, software, peripherals, phones, etc.), and to provide customizations & solutions that help them do their jobs more efficiently, but I'm not a programmer.
Since I'm not a programmer, I really don't have much to offer here on xda-developers (which explains why my first post was 2 years in the making!), but I felt a little guilty about not expressing my gratitude for all I've taken from this site without giving anything back... So I hope my recent small donation is helpful, and I want you all to know I'm very appreciative of your efforts.
Thanks again,
Scott
Thanks. See my sig!

[Game][2.2+]Chase Whisply: an augmented reality open-source project

Do you want to be part of something new, something unusual? Let me introduce you to "Chase Whisply", an augmented reality game. My friend and I, two computer science students, have been working on this open source project since early July. And we are glad to annnouce the beta 2.0.
"Chase Whisply" turns your smartphone into a gun sight that can reveal ghosts living around you. Your goal is to find them and hunt them! We use Google Play Game Services to provide leaderboards and achievements, and a player profile keeps track of your progress.
Since we are still students, we can't really compete with a game studio. That is not a valid excuse to provide poor quality content, however. Please help us improving the content of "Chase Whisply" by testing our application from the XDA Android App Tester Google Plus Community.
Be sure that we will appreciate every single feedback, especially on the concept.
From France, with love !
You will get help, but make sure you don't use Xdaer's juz for your testings!
Coz beta testing of apps is somewhat aways from xda's rules!
#no offence
Well wherz the link to your project/app?
Where to download?
Sent from my A2 using xda app-developers app
Hi! I tried to follow the rules of the Google Plus XDA Android App Tester Community, a moderator posted a thread on the community where you can find a link to the beta =) Unfortunately I am a new user, I can't post outside link in my messages. I will try to contact a moderator of the G+ Community to give you a direct link.
Link to the google play beta --> Here
Xda Beta testing community --> Here
Installing to give it a look now
Thanks martinusbe =)
Note that you have to be part of the community before you can opt-in for the beta test, otherwise you will get a 404 error.

Hi,
Not always the best graphic game is the one that catches the users and succeed, so if your game is running ok and well advertised... you will succeed.
Thanks for your support !
It's true that we underestimated a lot marketing and advertising. That's our first game, we will learn from our "mistakes" and try to not repeat them =)

Cost for Demo App? Your opinion...

Hello fellow developers,
I am turning to your expertise because as a member of XDA, I trust and value your opinion. I have a situation and would appreciate your input. I am working on an App idea. I've figured out most of the details and planned a road map. I have a 7 page mockup ready to build only a demo app (no backend, only visuals for potential investors to help me fund the full build).
I am wondering what I should expect in terms of costs to design and build an interactive demo? I would appreciate any range of costs you may find reasonable.
Thank you in advance for your input, I appreciate it.

I'm new here too, but been doing Android development for a few years... In my own experience I've built mockups/apps myself, so to me it was always "free"... my spare time... but if you want real answers, and related to your app, you'll have to provide a heck of a lot more detail!

I agree, even if you will not have working logic in it, you still need to design it ( 7 Activities) and sometimes design is much harder to do than logic behind it

College Project, I need to interview App Developers

Hello I am writing this thread because I am working on a business proposal for my business communication class and I was wondering if any of you could assist me with an interview.
For my proposal, I need an idea on how much it would be to develop an brand new app vs an extension to an existing app. All can be based on ball park prices, but the more accurate they are the better. Also, how long it takes to produce the app and get it running. There are more questions I would want answered, so if anyone is interested please just leave your email down below with the response to those few questions or message me your email!
All the numbers would be based on a huge company, so the app would be used and seen by millions.
Thanks for your time!
Hope some of you can help.

[Q] The Cost to Develop an App like Tinder?

Hey guys. Looking for some expert advice on the cost to create certain types of apps. In this case, dating app.
What would be the cost for something like Tinder?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
PS - If you are a developer looking for a project, and are okay with taking a percentage of profits post-build, PM me. I have 3 great app ideas in queue and am searching out developers to partner with for execution.
