I can't really understand the other threads, so how can I unlock my bootloader and and intsall roms and all that stuff? I find it hard to follow the stops on them threads...

i've just bought arc 3days ago, at the first time, i realy suck at this, but now ive done all and tried alot of roms
this is my way to unlock BL:
press *#*#7378423#*#* /Service info > Configuration - check can ur phone be unlocked. its easay
install Net Framework 2.0
download these things

/mediafire.com/?2v3c5r0se6ovmzb (its java lib, extract and copy it in the upper app's folder\libs\x10flasher_lib\)
*#06# - get the IMEI write to notepad plz, we'll use it later
open the app (its easy to use)
copy the rom +addon + hotfix u want 2 use to sdcard
1. write the IMEI on IMEI textbox and press get unlock code - wait 10s plz and u get the unlock code in the below textbox
2. power off ur phone, try to charge at learst 60%, then press and hold menu button - the button on the right of the phone and connect the phone to ur pc
when the LED is blue release the button. now u are in fastboot mode
3. download this: mediafire.com/?b6lc32yaq2zo77n and install, check ur phone and 2 Fastboot và Flashmode mode drivers . there are alot dialog appear, press
" Install Anyway " plz
4. press unlock BL on the app and wait
5. when it done, close the app, and unplug ur phone plz
6. open the app again, connect ur phone like step 2 (no need to shutdown because it was shutdowned)
7. flash ur rom kernel +CWM (is have ".IMG" ext), press flash and wait 2s
8. close the app, unplug ur phone
9. press power button, and get in the CWM (its depend on the kernel, just press all button when the screen show off something )
10. backup ur current rom
11. wipe all + cache
12. flash rom from sd card
13. w8 w8 w8
14. reboot and enjoy
//if u want 2 flash another rom, do it from step 6 if the new rom has dif kernel w the old one, if both r the same, try from step 9

i dont really get ur mean but when u unlock BL, u can relock it easily, so dont worry about it

I'am giving in short to unlock your BL easily..
Steps:
1. First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your device by checking the service menu. In your device, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.
2. In your device, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.
3. open this website http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/unlock/step1 and click yes till it shows to give ur details of name,imei,email address
4. now give the details and give imei which is only the first 14digits leave the last digit...give the valid email since u will get your code in mail...
5. now download the attachment C200X.rar then extract it to C:\Flashtool\devices\
Eg:it should be C:\Flashtool\devices\C200x
6.in flashtool click blu icon...
switch off ur phone...and connect usb wire to pc and with holding volume down connect the usb to phone...now u will see a green led blink on ur phone...
after sometime flashtool will show another window to unplug..now u should unplug ur phone from pc...and again hold volume up and connect to pc..this time the blue led will blink on ur phone.
8. now it will ask the code...copy the code in ur mail and paste ...
9. thats it ur phone gets unlocked and it will automatically reboot...reboot will take time..

After Unlocking BL you have to flash Dhaval's Cwm
JUST FLASH VIA FASTBOOT IN FLASHTOOL
To boot in CWM recovery mode just switch off your mobile.....then start your mobile when the sony screen appears and the led turns pink push volume up buttons and the led will turn blue then you are in recovery mode..

To move game data to your sd card just follow the steps given.....
There are two methods to move game data to sdcard..
First Method...
1.Download FolderMount from google play.

My xp M model is 1904 Before following the steps it showed Bootloader unlock : yes and after following the steps successfully it shows the same only thing happened is my phone got hard reset, have i unloacked my bootloader
If your phone gets hard reset you have unlocked your bootloader successfully...

I am going to tell you how to get your mobile at the stage where you gain your warranty back ,
and your phone will appear brand new as u bought it .

2. after successfully flash start your phone and enable usb debugging
(settings ->about phone->tap 4-7 times Build number now go back to Developer options ->usb debugging )

when the main menu comes type 4 to select custom recovery
it will ask is your bootloader unlocked ?
type 2 "no" .
then it ask choose recovery
type 1 "cwm recovery " .
now connect your phone and see your device must show usb debugging . tick if your phone say something like pc or lapi mac address.
7. now your phone boot into recovery
use up down button and power button to select
go to install zip (second option )
install zip from sd select the zip from sd
press power button and flash zip
______________________
reboot
done
now you have your warranty
working imei
and nvrm in wifi fix .
and your phone is unrooted .
you can install lollipop ota . (when it comes)
A. if your phone working fine after flashing stock rom then leave rest of the steps .

and flash it into recovery

wifi stuck on "turning wifi on" :'(
i unlocked the bootloader and flashed 5.1 initially (it got some wifi connection problems) so flashed cm12 which makes my wifi to stuck at "Turning wifi on"
now to make things straight i went back to my stock version 4.4.4 which still doesn't fix my problem

I did it in this way.
Use sp flash tools and flash stock rom. select firmware upgrade. done.
Many people use pattern lock as password on their android mobile....But if they forget their pattern lock mistakenley then most of them try to reset total phone...
If they reset their will be data loss contraversley......
To prevent data loss here is very simple trick...without any dataloss...
All you need is.....Following
1) Any android phone with pattern forgot
2) requires root
3) cwm or twrp ( recovery latest )
4) download the attached zip fie
Steps to follow...
1)download above zip file
2) reboot to recovery
3)flash the above zip from where u have downloaded the zip file
4) after installation done sucessfully..
After normal restarting u r mobile....
3*3 pattern will appear just swipe any symbol phone will unlocked....
Then go to settings set another password....
Thats it you have done.......

finally i got solution.....
How to Install
1 Part:-
1) open pc & use your stock rom Xolo Play 8X 1100 S012 29-07-2014 ,before flashing replace original recovery to following link's Philz recovery

, Flash it without battery .
2) than after flashing procedure just boot into recovery And flash latest update suerpsu.zip
3) just normal reboot
4) after getting original system, check IMEI by dialing *#06#
5) if it shows IMEI no. than good. Follow 2 Part
if not than go to aboutphone>and 10-12 time press build no. to get activate developer mode
go to developer mode>enable usb debugging.
now its time to use MTK Droid
Run MTK Droid 2.5.3
and replace IMEI.(google,youtube for mtk droid IMEI )
and BACKUP YOUR IMEI in MTKDROID IMEI option
this gives two restore files one is .bin & other is .tar in mtkdroid backupNVram folder.
never miss this two file it is very useful in future
after this follow this process
2 Part:-
Boot into recovery.
go to wipe and formate options
1)wipe cache,
2)wipe Dalvik/ART cache. &
3)complete formate for new rom
4) go back>install zip>select FLASH BASEROM & than FLASH or follow as per rom developers instructions
reboot.
if imei no not shown than follow mtk droid method of part 1 -But this time use RESTORE option from imei.
u will be asked for previously saved two backupnvram files.
Enjoy stable network without any problems..errors
