[Q] does any one know how to set up sdk on ubuntu?

I already have downloaded sdk for linux but cannot find any instructions on how to install that plus correct drivers so that ubuntu recognizes my evo. Any suggestions please?
Click me if you want to install the Android SDK on Ubuntu Linux
From Android SDK site
http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html
I just went thru this yesterday. Need to install the jdk first.
I believe Ubuntu has the USB drivers and will recognize the phone when you connect it. It did for me.

I carelessly wiped the system in TWRP, now i have a big problem -"no OS ".Unfortunately,it can't mount USB driver by OTG and device can't be detected what ever in Recovery or bootloader mode . so I can't flash a new rom into it.What can I do now ?I have switched many PC with different OS ,windosw xp ,7 ,8 ,but none of them can recognize my device which make me can't install driver for it.What can I do now ?

Just flash the factory image and start from scratch.

You can also get drivers that will work with TWRP here:

This is the driver you need in order to use ADB while in recovery in addition to the Google Driver or else you would see "Flo" under Unknown Devices in your computer device manager. Or you can restore the stock 4.3 ROM via fastboot.
the problem is it won't come out as "flo" or unknown devices when i connect to PC , it just nothing happen , that's the problem :crying::crying:

[Q] ADB driver fail: 'This Device Cannot Start. (Code 10)'

I have ClockworkMod successfully installed and want to update my DHD to JellyTime but:
"Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software etc...
Windows found driver software but etc...
Android ADB Interface
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
If you know the manufacturer etc..."
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Or equally, how to install the ROM without using the SDK tools?
Thanks.
Rob
You can get the adb stand-alone floating around somewhere.
However, try reinstalling the htc drivers, see if that works.
Sent from a dream.
