[Q] boot loop on v5oo - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi to all
i have a lg gpad v500a with kingo rooted and twrp 2.6.32 that i did with flashify end everything just worked well until i made un LG update
that pull my LG into a bootloop with the
"Secure Booting Error!!
Cause: Device Unlock, so Boot Success!"
I Have made un backcup early on my sd card before this happens but i can get it running since i get after the same message after i run it from recovery.
i have only the pad for 1 month and i don t seems to manage to get this thing running again.
Any suggestion please ?

You must go with your Tablet into the download mode and make a restore with the LG Mobile Tool on your Windows PC ,
You have a guide in a post by the section android development !

[Q] LG G3 security error

Just got the phone today and successfully rooted it and I wanted to see what this xposed framework stuff was about I installed the experimental version (tbh did really read it was experimental it was on the front page so I thought it was alright) and when prompt to reboot I did, but now when rebooting I can't get passed the Lg secruity error screen I tried re-flashing back to stock using this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799647 but nothing happens after I plug my G3 back in it just says ready is there any other way to fix this security error?
edit:found out that my model number is actually the f400s (sorry i'm a phone noob) for anyone else out there trying to find your phone model it's actually behind the battery

Again I ended up resolving the issue myself and I do not have a picture of the error but I can describe it. When booting my lg g3 the normal big Lg logo appeared then after a bit a smaller lg logo appeared with the words "security error" under it for those looking for a solution to that problem the thread in the op is the correct action to take to resolve the issue. Note doing that wiped everything on my phone which was not a big deal for me but I had to take my phone back the the carrier to input the configuration to access 4g lte again & it unrooted my phone.
i have this same issue can you tell me how you got around it?

jerimynal wiley the error you get "secure boot error" is caused by image you are trying to boot not being bumped or not properly flashed. I assume you get this error both while trying to access recovery and OS. If that is the case you should use this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089&nocache=1
to flash stock firmware on your device.
But if you have a case where you are able to access your recovery (TWRP I assume) you could use one of the custom images provided here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development (assuming you have D855 version) . Flash them and use them as OS.
Thanks man. I actually could get into recovery so I just flashed another kernel

Can't fix after install twrp

Hi everyone so i tried installing twrp on my lg g pad 8.3 4.4.2. v50020d
And i kept getting the same error when trying to go into recovery.
So i thouth i could fix it and go back to normal with lg support tool but everytime i use lg support tool it stuck on 4% after the tool downloaded the nessesary files first i tougth that i could be that i didn't have enauth space on my device so i i did a factory reset but that made everything wors every time i try to boot my device now it goas automaticly to recovery but there is no recovery to go to .
So i puted my g pad in download mode and tried fixing it with the lg support tool but it still stuck on 4% and asks me to retry after i reboot my device.
sup
I really need help can anyone help me with this problem.
I cannot boot into the os or recovery only thing that happends it try to go into recovery.
The only thing that it can do is go into download mode and lg support tool recognises my device
Sorry for my english i din't pay much attention to my writing i'm a bit frustrated.
Nevermind found a way to fix it aqtuelly its the same way just used like a very old laptop to do it I for some reason couldn't fix it on my newer laptop so had to use an old one, I also managed to install twrp by downgrading my firmware and then installing twrp on it using the same old laptop so yeah it depends a lot on what computer your using

Secure booting Error!

So I was trying to install TWRP on my freshly rooted V500 5.0 korean kdz, followed the steps exactly and I tried to reboot to recovery and got the
Secure booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify
Reading through a few other threads, I tried going into download mode and upgrade recovery through the LG mobile support tool, but that says no items to upgrade. Now, my tablet will not boot up past the error screen and I'm having no luck finding any way to get it booting. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help!!
EDIT: KDZ back to 10a

[help] lg g3 d855 twrp

Okay so today i installed TWRP Recovery and rooted my phone.
Got myself in a bit of trouble now. I get an error when i turn my phone on. And my SD Card got corrupted. Basically I want to ask you guys how to fix all these problem and uninstall twrp recovery.
Ah yeah, I can't use the SD Card on my phone Only on other phones. tried fomatting it from the phone didn't work only on my other phone it worked but on the G3 it still gets recognized as corrupted .
I've looked in a few ways of removing the recovery and they seem really hard and confusing. There's another method that i suspect will work and it's from the "LG Mobile support tool" And when i connect my phone there's an option to "Upgrade Recovery" Wanted to ask you guys if this method will work.
I guess my phone is bricked Rooted with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/root-twrp-marshmallow-d855-30b-t3286268 . I can't get into recovery only if i go with a program and reboot the recovery.
Plesae guys i need help ASAP
Thanks, And i hope there will be an answer soon!

[PROBLEM] I can't flash custom recovery (TWRP) to my G3 d855

I recently had my G3's motherboard replaced. I'm using G3 D855 32GB with Android 5.0 software version V20n.
I had troubles rooting my device with these methods:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Though after few more tries and research I came across this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197 and successfully rooted my device (checked with Root Checker app).
Now i'm having difficulties flashing TWRP. I tried flashing using the official app TWRP manager with no luck, nor through flashify. For some reason with the Autorec app, the flash recovery button is doing nothing.
While flashing with flashify and TWRP manager I get this message when phone is booting: "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify" at the left top of the screen (when LG logo appears).
I believe my software version (V20n) has something to do with it, because that's the cause for the rooting issues.
I would really appreciate any help, I'm dealing with it for few days now.
By the way, I had the same problem before and tried flashing KDZ, ending up with a fully bricked device (that's why I got my device's motherboard replaced) so please try to avoid solutions including this method.
Thanks!
I have exactly the same problem
OK I solved this issue
you have to root&flash recovery in one operation.
