Just want to ask if someone can MOD or PORT to see a colored emoji on the whole system og galaxy s3. just like the s4!
I saw a post here on xda, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/mod-how-to-emoji-galaxy-s3-t1792745 but the emoji's are not COLORED.
I'm on Samsung galaxy s3 GT-I9300
You need emoji integrated in keyboard.
Search in the forum there are Note II keyboard available with emoji support.
If you want colours you need to have a 4.4.X-based rom installed.
Tapped on my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk running OmniRom with latest Boeffla kernel.

Hi. No its is not possible for stock sammy rom because android 4.3 jellybean doesn't support it.
You can have system wide colored emoji only on kitkat (android 4.4)
If you install custom rom such as cm
Or if samsung decides to update s3 to kitkat sometime.

Sorry guys both the s4 and the note 3 have system wide colored emojis on stock 4.3. att note 2 has skynote rom which have ported it to their device

it's should, just add the extra folders (SystemUI.apk and Contacts.apk)
Edit: TWRP file attached
Shouldnt matter both are universal and will flash in either recovery. Also the pulldown is the notification_panel_bg.9.png in SystemUI.apk and the dialers background is in the Contacts.apk i think its the nodpi background in that.
Edit: I would suggest making a ZipThemer instead of using VRtheme. Its much easier and this mod you have here will only replace the gray or "holo" images in the framework there is nothing there for the contacts or the systemui

well i just flashed the TWRP file. It work fine. The only problem is with the dialer. Its not completely black.
Troy from TWRP told me that there was a problem with the zipaline file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592689&page=32 (post #315) that why i made the 2nd file.

I think the problem could be the T9 dialer. Maybe this is the reason why the dialer does not change to holo black. Isnt the T9 dialer a different apk?

I don't have access to a Note 3 myself, so i can't examine why i don't work. :-/
My guess is that it might be something with the Andriod-version you are running. What is powering your device?

I'm running stock Samsung software (Android 4.3, XXUBMI7)...
I looked through logcat messages but couldn't see anything relevant.

Duh. You're right! I just assumed that Samsung use a different font in their ROM... I've been using CM10 for a LONG time and am now forced to use stock ROM on Note 3 until CM is available so it just looks different overall, I was under the impression that the font is different too. Downloaded the DroidSans.ttf (which is the default font name) and it is in fact Roboto-Regular.

First of all thanks for making a flip font of this font. I have a question. Why does this app have permissions for Storage(Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage), Phone Calls and Developmental tools? Other fonts that I have installed don't need this permissions.

I honestly have no idea. :-/
The APK itself is based on HelvNeueLT.apk from my phone. I simply modded the fontfiles and did some xml-editing.

For all I know you can't install 3'rd party fonts on the Samsung 4.2.2 stock without root+ i.e iFont.

Not from me, i gave up on FlipFonts since i could not get them to work on 4.3.

the zip link is there in the first post and even in the gdrive foldwr in the bottom if you cant find them you can download them one by one not a problem

You need to be on Samsung based 4.3 ROM...

Just install like a normal APK file...Then Go to Settings -> Display -> Font type and you will see all the fonts there.
Would it be possible to get Arial available for 4.3? Old flipfonts no longer work!

I'm sure Swiftkey beta (it might be out of beta now) works on 4.3, are you still on stock? If your feeling adventurous flash a custom ( Archidroid 3.0.2 is magnificent), colour emojis will come with the keyboard and you can use this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2722892, its brilliant if you like emojis ?

This one has like squerish shape, you can check on youtube Galaxy C5, and look it up, some people like me like this keyboard

Yes, almost all the emojis will show without any problems. In the past there have been some emojis that showed up as black squares but i fixed that by switching to Gboard

You need to flash Twrp for your android version using Odin
Use Twrp by Nick for 5.1.1
Twrp by ganesh for 6.0.1
You also need to download the latest supersu.zip
Reboot into recovery and flash the zip.
^^This is just an outline of what needs to be done. Go to the Galaxy j5 threads to find a more in depth post

i tested the " Emoji Switcher " App but the emojis was bigger and older than ios 10.2 !

If you used "Emoji switcher" to switch to Ios 10.2 emojis then those emojis will be the latest, emojis are also the same size as the samsung stock emojis with the samsung keyboard. If you want them to be smalller i recommend switching to Gboard.
