(REQ)Official kernel.sin xperia ion - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hey guys its been a week..I am carrying my bricked device which show red led and continuous bootloop after I charged my battey for half and hour..so i wanna flash stock kernel.sin as my device was relocked bootloader..if anyone have it ...plz kindly provide me..thanks in advance...

I don't have it bro. But of you consider hard resetting it and charge it until it shows up red led and flashing original firmware by flashtool might help you.

i did each and every possible way..but no luck..i too disassamble my mobile and remove the battery chip but no luck...but loop is still persisting..

1.Firstly you should charge your phone for 36-48 hrs
2.don't turn it on
3.On ur pc, open flashtool n tap on flash button
4.when it asks for phone, plug your phone with pressing volume down button
5.wait for flashtool to recognize ur phone
6.then flashing will be done
Hope this will work in your case..as i had same problem before

i had this problem the other day...when the it boot loops hard reset it then leave it to charge till red led appears and then disappears...when the red led disappears apply the rubberband trick and connect your phone to your pc with the flashtool waitin to flash your phone eventually it wud go into flash mode...dont attempt to flash the system on the first try...flash the kernel then leave it to charge on a wall charger until you get a greed led and then flash the TFT fully

@fernoct @XrosMaster @prat.cena @pharix @Zorbeyd
Thanks guys for your coperation...your ideas help me a lotz... Finally had to diassamble my phone and charge via external voltage kit through powerchip..and my battery level was upgraded and I was able to rwcover my mobile back...
Once again thanks for your coperation...

Even my phone got bricked after flashing SSpeed kernel by krabappel. You can try charging it for more time until you get the SONY logo and your phone starts bootlooping or you get a green led. You can try doing, but I don't think that you will get anything except a red led. Also, try going into either download or fastboot mode once your phone is charged and try flashing the stock kernel. If you get into download mode(green led) then in flashtool tick all boxes which say exclude system, exclude baseband ... but leave exclude kernel ticked. If you get into fastboot, flash the attached stock kernel of XSL in fastboot. Use this command - fastboot -i 0x0fce flash boot kernel.sin
It is the 100% stock kernel taken from Xperia SL LT26ii's stock .55 FTF. Good luck
Also, you have to extract kernel.zip to get the kernel.sin file as we can't upload .sin files directly on XDA.

It should be. Btw, SSpeed is also for .55fw just in case you didn't know so I don't think that it should be a problem. Once you flash the kernel, let the phone charge for some time then go ahead and flash the entire .55 fw with flashtool.

Just check if there is some kind of a ribbon attachment or something. If not then just remove the battery and put it back in. Or else disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable.

Bricked :(

I had just successfully rooted my xperia play r800i and was installing CWM. After the installation was successful, I unplugged the phone as Flashtools said but it won't start. Now it's not even being detected by Flashtools. It is being detected by my laptop only with the beep sound and nothing else.
Also my battery was around 20% while I was flashing so maybe that had something to do with it.
Waiting for help by a generous XDA member, again.
Thanks in advance!

Sony Xperia Ion LT28at needs HELP!! PLEASE!!

OK....So here is my story and problem. About 2-3 months ago I was charging my phone and instead of charging it was losing the charge. I unplugged it from the charger and it would reboot itself. It showed low battery so I would connect it back to the charger and it would all of a sudden show full battery. After a while on the charger, I unplugged it, turned it off and then tried to turn back on but no response. I pressed power button with volume down button and nothing happened. So now I have been reading all kinds of threads of what I could possibly do and I have had no success. The phone was on the charger for about 2 days and the red light turned off. I finally downloaded Flash tool but it will not recognize my phone nor had it in the devices. I need help! I love my phone and can't send it for repair. If anyone can help, please let me know what I need to do. I also need help on drivers for Flash tool. Thank you!
If you can get your phone to boot
Let it fuly charge, then let it fully die untill it turns off then boot and fully charge
Your battey may have calibrated weird(xperias auto calibrate)
Also if that doesent work then try volume + power up, if your device is bricked this can take upto 45 mins untill it actualy forces off (3 buzzes in a row)
Try flashing then (and ensure the cable isnt plugged in when you do it)
Also ensure drivers are installed for your device (goolgle is your freind)

I have tried all of that stuff and I still don't get any response. The phone is currently on the charger. When I first plugged it in the red light was one and then started to blink and now is solid. I am unable to download ADB drivers cause my computer does not recognize my phone, not even thru pc companion.
You dont need your phone to install adb try googleing some (you may find installable Adb drivers for windows)
Well red LED? Anyway if it shows a red led when you plug in,
Try pluggin in while holding volume down, if you get a green Light that is good, search up a stock FTF for xperia ion and use flashtool to flash in flashmode (green led while plugged in after holding volume down (may be blue than thats bootloader mode try volume up)
If your ion still doesent boot then they may be a physical problem

Okay I will try to help you here. I have had to do this a few times now and yes it sucks. When the light goes off you need to let it continue to charge. Eventually the device will start trying to boot the charging screen. Once it does this you need to hold the power and volume + just long enough for the screen to go off. It will look like it is bleeding out. As soon as it does this let go and do not let it buzz or you will have to start all over. Once you get the device to shut off you can try holding volume down while plugging the device into the computer and it should give you flash mode. Let it load drivers if it needs to and then try to set up your flash with flash tool.
Another option is to take the back off and disconnect the battery cable. Once you leave it off for a few seconds plug it back up and reassemble the device. It should now boot back up. At the least it will let you flash a ftf again.
Here is the link to all the stock ftf files. Checked the links and they are still good.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752345 :good:
I'd recommend unplugging the battery if you have access to the tools to do it. I have the at&t model as well. Once you get the flash mode on I'd recommend flashing the international lt28h version excluding the baseband. You'll keep your LTE support and get rid of at&t bloatware, later you can mess with build.prop to get it to say LT28i or LT28at if you prefer.
Thank you everyone for the help in trying to revive my xperia. I think I am going to give up for now being that I am not able to download what I need and my phone just stays on the charger with no progress. Even with the red led light out and on the charger for days on end, there is nothing. Again, Thank you and God Bless

i tried to unlock the bootloader......it succeed but resulted in long bootloop and the phone not working....i tried to flash it with its original firmware using sony flashtool but didnt succeed in that coz i flashed a recovery image and resulted in bricking...tried pc companion....failed....it was then booting in fastboot and slashboot....i submitted it to sony service center...they say that the display has crashed...and the motherboard too,,,needs replacement...its now jst blinking red thrice when powered on....

No need to replace motherboard your device is not hard bricked because led is blinking.
Pull the battery and wait for 1 min. insert the battery & connect your mobile to pc in fastboot mode(hold Volume UP button and plug in USB Cable). The device’s LED light should turn into Blue. Flash stock kernel with flashtool or cmd method(flash the kernel for your device Ex. SS or DS - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494793). Then unplug the cable & connect to flash mode flash stock rom :good:
Thnx alot for replying but it is not getting into flashboot and fastboot now after i took it from the service center.....
Its just blinking thrice when i am powering it on....nothing else....
HELP PLEASE..
If I'm correct, the LED blinking in red thrice suggests that the battery is empty and need to be charged. Try that and do @Sureshtuty 's suggestion.
