Wow thats great news really!
Super thanks bro for the info!

You've been able to do this for a while now. Create a micro sd > sd card adapter, find a suitable way to slot it on the back case and away you go.
edit: couldn't find the one I saw before, it was on a flex cable which made it easier to set up.
here's an example of one though: http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/SD-to-micro-SD-extender-adapter_880824875.html

just remember that Windows will not properly format a Fat32 card bigger than 32gb. Either format in the mobile device or get a utility for windows that works. There are several free .

Congrats. I burned 4 totally different 64gb cards before I finally gave up.Formatted each one differently but as soon as it hit the phone- erased.

Should be formated Exfat... otherwise your on your own ..

yes...

will probably fail i9300

I didn't even know there were 128 gb sdcards already, i'm getting myself one ASAP

How much for 128 gb micro-SD ??

Awesome! I'll be getting one myself as well!
The price would be around 120 dollars, according to amazon

No, it won't. I didn't notice any slow down after changing the card from 64Gb to 128 GB. The only thing i noticed was, that my music player (Neutron) took a while for scanning the card. But this was only on the first time. After that it runs absolutely flawless...

I don't think so.
Since it is stated in the phone specifications that we could only use cards "up to 32GB".
I'm curious about this as well since I found my 32GB too small and was planning on getting a 64GB.
our phone support it.. 64 Gigabyte Class 10.. someone in XDA used it
he used SanDisk..

This is good news since I own a Galaxy Exhibit, thanks.
I can confirm that the Galaxy W can handle a 64GB MicroSDXC card. I tried out the one I bought for my SGN10.1 on it and it worked perfectly.
When a manufacturer says "Up to xxGB" it means that's what they have tested up to, and have confirmed to work on said device. Although, always proceed with caution in case it doesn't work. In this case, though, it does.
if I read it 2 days before, I want to buy 32 gb... but I bought 16gb class10. becacuse of sammy said gal w is just supports 16gb...

I'm thinking of returning mine and waiting on a higher memory model, basically because Samsung didn't include Apps2SD capabilitiy even when the developer allows for it. The full version of "Need for Speed" alone ate 1.8 GB of RAM or almost 20% of available memory. I thought the advertised 16 GB would be enough but since less than 11 is actually available, apps are getting bigger, and I hope to use the phone for a long time I'm thinking that waiting on at least the 32 GB version might be a better plan.

Yes, exactly the reason why bigger internal space is great for apps. Music, video and photo could stay on the SD Card.
You guys know that with a custom kernel and flashing a .zip through CWM will swap the internal and external memory right? In other words, you can get a 32gb card and that will function as your phones memory and the 16gb would be treated like the external... Just sayin'

Sure it's circumvent convenient but not a deal breaker when I can insert a multitude of sd cards as needed and my library can grow with me.then again it's just a cell. Higher pricing just for added storage when you can get a base model and use as many sd cards as you need for free...all 16 32 & 64 iPhones do the exact same thing...don't provide an sd slot...the galaxy s3 16 & 32 do the same thing but one cost more money lmao....they are playing so many consumers it's not that deep be smarter than the carriers

Meenova SD Card Reader Compatibility

Just ordered the Meenova for the N5, but will use on an N7 2013 as well. I want to put movies on there for travel, so I want 64GB, and it looks like SDXC is the only option (which I guess is exFAT). Will this work on either/both devices? Rooted with Stick Mount. Can't figure out what card to get.
Thanks
Edit - Title changed. Thx!
I am happy to report that my meenova works with the Nexus 5 using a SanDisk sdxc 64gb card. Rooted with stick mount from chainfire.
I forgot if I used exfat of ntfs
Do I have to root? I plan on ordering my N5 next week with some accessories (hopefully a meevo), I'm not sure if I will root right away.

OP should probably add 'MicroSD Card Reader' or something similar to the title - would be helpful for those who don't know.
and yes, you need root in order for this to work on the Nex 5/4/7/10. you also need this app to mount the sdcard:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.stickmount&hl=en
I have a knockoff meenova, it's one of the most convenient accessories ever. Works beautifully with stickmount. Its just a shame you need to use stickmount, it works on my Moto X as is.

At the time the Meenovas were shipping from China and I didn't want to wait. The one I got is decent enough, and works without issue so I'm happy. I'll probably still order the Meenova anyway, just to have. The two look identical but you can tell from pictures the Meenova is built a little nicer.

You don't need root for this to work. I am not rooted and my meenova works perfectly.
edit; you need the app "total commander" and within the program manually add the "USB-Stick Plugin" and boom...works great.

get a Sandisk Cruzer Fit(32GB version ~ $25. there's a 64GB version, but can't find it outside of ebay) : http://www.sandisk.com/products/usb/drives/cruzer-fit/
tear it down: http://www.andrewbirkel.com/category/complete-projects/repairs-and-disassembly/
eventual size: http://www.andrewbirkel.com/wp-content/gallery/usb-stick/2013-06-08-12-04-12.jpg
modify your case to fit that flat drive somewhere close to the port. make your own cable that wires the pins properly
microUSB connector/header: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8533
wire up those pins properly
I have it and its great to make up for lack of space.

I can't seem to get this to work. I have root and I have stickmount installed and when I connect the Meenova it launches stickmount and shows you where the storage is located. But when I try to copy files I am getting an error; java.ioFileNotFoundException:/storage/emulated/0/usbStorage/sda1
open failed: EACCESS (permission denied).
Any ideas on why this is happening? I have used the default format on card and then formatted NTFS and it happened both times.
Thanks

I believe it should work fine and the reason they rated at 64gb because at the time there's no 128gb yet. I knew some one who used a regular sdcard to micro sdcard adaptor for 128gb on the Note and it worked!

Aside from putting in an adaptor, do you have to do install some apps or some software tweaking to recognize the card? Or is it just plug and play like any other cards.

Just plug and play. But the adapters are a little delicate, I wouldn't suggest having it loose and flapping around. If you have a case, you can just tuck it in and it should be fine, otherwise I'd suggest taping it down to the tablet. That's how I did it on my Xoom.

You asked what will work reliably. When you go above 32 Gb the format has to change. Some ROMs will work some will not.
SD cards do not last forever. whatever you store on one, make sure its is always backed up. I prefer to go with 32 Gb , they will work with any ROM and when it does fail, its cheap to replace it.
