As there is less than a day left before the new HTC One is announced to the public, the official name is still unknown. But I believe I now know for sure the name. It will not be the HTC One Two, or the HTC Two, which already seem like terrible names, but the name will be it's codename, M8. Here is my proof.
A couple hours before posting this thread, the official HTC smartphone page listed the HTC One as simply the "HTC One", but now they have changed it to "HTC One (M7)". Now there is only one reason why they'd be doing this. Yes, they've done this to make way for the M8, which I think we can assume will be the official name. I know this theory seems it's lacking evidence, but I think it's pretty obvious that they won't be naming it the "HTC One Two", or the "HTC Two". Have any other ideas for the name? Let me know.

here is an update I moved the phone down to match his other eye. What do you guys think should I change the X, keep the eye or remove etc.
Looks good. Maybe try some different fonts with the X, but the eye looks cool.
I think the eye with the black background looks nicer IMO. Great work btw!
I may lower the phone a little bit more to to better match his other eye. Any more suggestion would be great

I've got a smoke filter that would look killer coming off the "Why so serious?" behind the Rev.
I'd like to see the eye that you see on the Dinc2 reboot screen instead of the verizon promo. but definitely keep the recovery bootloader on the screen.
I like the last one best.

how's the X now? I moved the phone down to match his other eye and removed Verizon logo for htc

[Discuss] 4.2 for the HOX

I know its's very , very early since we don't even have Jelly Bean 4.1 yet, but do you think 4.2 will come to the HTC one X ?
If yes : Why ?
If not : Why ?
Personally I think we will get the 4.2 update, but in about a year from now, they always say they will keep updating their devices as long as possible, and the HTC One X is an amazing device with plenty of ram and an amazing processor.
So, what do you guys think?
All news about 4.2 will also be updated in the OP
No 'trĂ³ll'ing or trolling about jelly bean if so just ignore the 'troll'
Probably Q1 2013...

Oh c'mon guys, stop that! Every f**kin' 2nd word has been "JB" the last three months. Don't even start this...unfortunately you already did
Think this way: which fudgin' differnce will there be when you have Android 4.2?!!
Ambitious, to discuss 4.2 whilst guys here are going berserk, over 4.1. But given that. I would say q2, 2013.

wouldn't hold your breath htc might not be around at that point the way their stock is falling lol
Tell me one feature you think it has over 4.1.1?
Then read this:
http://www.androidcentral.com/why-you-shouldn-t-worry-about-android-42
4.2 has NO DIFFERENCE in source code, it is only features, that were added.
So for us, people with sense, it is not even interesting.
Have you read the change log before starting this bloody thread?

T mobile's response jellybean

The mail back from executive office
Thank you for your email, received in the Executive Office, I have been asked to respond on behalf of EE.
Jellybean is not yet available for the HTC One X. All we can advise is that this will be available soon.
Unfortunately we cannot advise on a specific release date at the moment. The reason for this is the phone has to be tested by the manufacturer and EE before we can announce a date it will be available.
I apologise I have been unable to answer your query.
Yours sincerely
#lame lol

HTC one xl says relocked in bootloader

Hi hopefully im in the right section.
I have just purchased a second hand One xl in Australia however the phone I purchased is not an Australian Telstra phone. It is the 16g from another country. I'm still on 4.0.4 and trying to unlock the bootloader so I can install a sense jellybean Rom. No matter what method I try it gets stuck in cmd saying waiting for device. When I go into settings to try and do update it says your phone is up to date. My bootloader says relocked?

Please try your luck here, sir.
Relocked is not a problem, you can just unlock again with HTC dev. Sounds like a driver issue on pc. Reinstall them.
This is the one x section BTW.
Good luck.

It really is fast. sometimes it doesn't even feel like I've touched the screen yet and it already responds.
