NBC Olympics Live Extra APK

I was wondering if anyone could post the apk file for the NBC Olympics Live Extra app as it is only available to Americans and living in Canada I would love to be able to view the olympics on my phone.

Thanks for the dropbox link worked like a charm on my SGS3, tested a video working great as stated can't test live until olympics start but don't see why live wouldn't work.

But the reviews aren't good. Seems as tho it doesn't 'just' work.

Guess that means people are reviewing without trying it or maybe they have an incompatible phone I can confirm the AT&T Galaxy S3 works.

On the app's page it states that "additional support for phones and tablets will be added". So I wouldn't be surprised if we see a fully compatable and optimized app before the Olympics.
EDIT: reinstalled from review horizon and now for some weird reason video works, oh well, as long as I can watch the Olympics

Can someone please post the version they updated to today? (7/25) The last one tries to force an update which is still 'not compatible'.

Yeah this is infuriating. I got everything set up on my tablet and phone to be able to stream, and they do a forced update today... I can't find the apk online anywhere. Can someone please post it?

Yes, someone please post. Maybe it would be good for someone to post directions on how someone who has the app can ID and upload the apk for us. I would, but never done it. I think look in /data/app directory

Play store just compatible the app with Nexus 7
uninstall the old one if you sideloaded, then re-download in Play store if you are on Nexus 7
and I dont know how to take the apk out,,,,,sorry

UPDATE: On my S2 (SGH-i777) running CM9 nightly (July 23) build (though I don't think it matters) I was able to get the Google Play Store to install the updated .apk:
Note: I had the previous version of Live Extra installed from the old .apk
1. Go into Google Play store and search for NBC Live Extra. It should take you to the app page that displays "Open" or "Uninstall".
2. Select "Uninstall". Message displays saying it wasn't installed from the Google Play Store, and asks if you want to uninstall anyway. Confirm that you want to uninstall.
3. After uninstall, the app page will show, displaying the blue Install button. Select Install, and it should d/l and install the updated (today) version. It's about 12.75 MB I think.
I'll try to post the updated apk later, if this site will let me post files that large.
One thing I didn't consider until now is that...maybe the app actually is compatible with the S2 i777 now, and I never knew until i uninstalled the old apk, in which case I really didn't figure out anything groundbreaking. I don't think that's the case though b/c Google Play wasn't offering to update my old Live Extra app when it was installed.

Thank you for the apk, but I think that is the apk that is meant to be installed on phones because it doesn't give an option to login.
I think there must be another version that is designed to be installed on tablets and will let you login and listen to live audio if you subscribed to audio pass.

Awesome...I had missed that and I am now able to login... Thank You
I guess I will have to wait until the next game to see if the audio streaming functionality is there. But my gut tells me that NFL has two apps...One for phones and one for tablets and I think that the apk you posted is for the phone. One reason is because the name of the apk includes the word "lite"

Sending things via NFC to other S3s??

So a friend and I both have this phone. Both rooted. He added a JB rom and I am on the stock Touchwiz rom. We have been trying to send stuff and only thing that goes is a contact. If I open Quickpic and select a photo to send to him, it takes him to the Play Store where it wants him to install Quickpic. If I try to send a song it appears to be uploading on my phone and does nothing on his. He tries to send a photo or .mp3 to me and he gets an error that my device does not support large file transfer via NFC or something.
I did a search on Google and saw where it says photos and songs are able to be sent until JB. If that's the case, how is Samsung advertising this feature and it doesn't work on what's currently available.
If I am doing something wrong...please advise.

Probably because the Samsung software isn't on the JB rom your friend installed (sbeam).

Nah. The s3 only wants to send files with Sbeam. Don't ask me why I'm not an expert, maybe someone has a work around but I wasn't about to send files between my S3 and nexus via nfc

sounds weird
edit: on website it's available but when i try to search for it through my device i can't even see it

50GB is only for a limited time though. Can't see in the small print how long it lasts for.

That is weird...it's supposed to work now...oh well, i just updated the files in the OP so you can download and install the latest version if you haven't yet...

I had installed it on my samsung vibrant yesterday, and just transferred the apk over to my tablet, worked without issues.

I am new to android so bear with me. I started to download this app but it wants permission to access all my data and also to be able to erase all my data on sd card. What does this mean and is it dangerous? Thanks

Trying the search button would be a good start.

i read an article last week (can't find it now though) that said google was making wallet available in the entire US, not just certain carriers. i clicked the play store link in the article and for the first time Wallet showed up in my t-mo play store. i clicked it and it said it was not compatible with my phone.....? i backed out, went back to the article to finish reading it, came back to the play store and google Wallet was gone. can't even find it in a search. weird.
i tried the extensive way to get wallet on the phone, changing the build.prop, and nearly bricked my phone. I am just going to wait for the official app.

I love you so much. This worked perfectly for me.
EDIT: Until I changed my build.prop back to my Note 2. Then Wallet told me the app isn't available for my device or carrier.

search for the xposed framework and the wallet module for it, and it should take care of that.
